The park system in Columbus is really quite amazing. A fair number of them are connected via bike/running/walking trails and all are well taken care of. I come over to McNamara Park quite frequently when In Columbus visiting family and very much enjoy it for my long runs. They have a full playground and benches/picnic areas for large gatherings. They also have stops along the path for different exercises. I definitely recommend checking it out if in the area.
