The milkshake was not worth three dollars, and putting little cookies on my straw doesn’t make up for it. Please stop contaminating the straws. Also, you need to repainted outside, it’s disgraceful. Thanks for the sandwich though.

I work very close to this Potbelly so i go there at least once a week. Though they have messed up my order a few times they always apologize and give me a free drink or cookie. They are consistently great and the staff is friendly for the most part.

This is the Potbelly I would normally go to if I crave some. Everything is pretty quick here so I’m usually in and out of there within 5 minutes or less. Clean environment, friendly staff, decent food especially for a quick bite during lunch time. I think their price went up for their original size sandwiches. I typically order the Original Wreck sandwich on wheat which is always safe. I also get a side of of the pickle cut in quarters which is a $ 1 extra. Free parking garage right near by as well as a few street parking spaces(also 15 minute parking spaces right next to Potbelly but very limited).

I have been coming here for a few years now and I call say that is the quality and employee’s sensibilities have constantly dropped, visit by visit(based on almost 100 visits). First they refuse to sell you a movie ticket for soup even though the huge sign next to them says that it counts for soup(big or small. and I get the bowl/big soup). Yesterday was stupid and not even worth it. there was a new cashier, a larger African American woman who clearly hated her job and ignored what most people were telling her. I asked her for a Bowl of Broccoli Cheddar(which should have been ready since I told them before I ordered a sandwich, and she gives me a look and says that I won’t get soup next time unless I tell them at the start(rude…). The other employee came up and corrected her to inform her that she was out of place and that I had in fact asked for it at the start. She looked at me, clearly pissed off about being wrong. While filling the soup, she only filled it up halfway, seriously, 50% at most and bring it to me. I asked her to top it off and she told me they only fill it up halfway. I looked at her and told her I know it wasn’t true and everyone in line looked at her like she was clearly skimping out on me because she was upset(how did she get a job here???). She went back, filled it up 75%(not even close to the top) and then tossed it to me(could have spilled hot soup.), another stupid action. She even hassled me over crackers for the soup saying it costs extra, but couldn’t find how to charge me for it. Don’t come here, management needs to shut this place down.

I consider this the best run Potbelly Sandwich Shop I have ever visited. The dining area is always well maintained. Most of the staff appears to be well trained, to be cheerful and show some enthusiasm towards customers. They serve fresh food in a clean environment.

Among sandwich shops, this is one of my favorites. The variety is good, the food is always fresh and the staff friendly. It is conveniently located to get a quick bite before shopping or going to the movies.

I love sandwiches!!! I usually go to the Rockville potbelly, but since I was in the area I decided to stop at the rio one. I am really disappointed I have to say. I bought a sandwich to go and once I got home I found out I can’t eat the sandwich! It had everything I asked not to put inside of the sandwich. U can’t take out melted cheese… Also, I asked for tomatoes and all the three pieces in my sandwich were the top of a tomato. Not sure how this is even possible, but with the pickle, cheese, and onion I can’t enjoy it anyway. I guess I will stick to the Rockville potbelly :)

I loved my salad from Potbelly! I had the farmhouse chicken salad and added avocado with ranch dressing. I also tried their broccoli cheese soup. It was all very very good! Reasonably priced, fast friendly service, and great food! What more could you ask for?

Potbelly has been one of my favorite sandwich places! Soo good! First time i came to this location was 5 years ago when i was still living in jersey and NJ didn’t have potbelly there yet. Couldn’t wait to come back to MD just so i can eat here! After i moved to MD, i couldn’t stop eating here! This place is so unique and it sets itself apart from other sandwich places. The staff is always super friendly, the décor is unique and cool, ofcourse the sandwiches are DELICIOUS and shakes are to die for! I usually get a Custom sandwich as i am vegetarian, something about their sandwich is so good, I’m unable to duplicate the taste at another restaurant or at home. I’ve tried just about all their shakes, the best one i like is the Oreo shake. a must have! There is always a very pleasant crowd in there no matter when you go, location is surrounded by shopping, boardwalk, a pond, movie theater and plenty of other restaurants. I am so glad there is a potbelly near my apartment in Alexandria. I continue to go to their chains, whereever i find them. Can’t ever have too much potbelly! I’m getting hungry just writing this review. Time to go to potbelly!

I like potbelly’s, but it seems they are inconsistent with proportions and they never fail to omit something I ordered on my sandwich.

I stopped by this place after seeing a movie. The service was quick and friendly. I had a tuna sandwich with swiss cheese and tomato soup. Very satisfying. I would choose Potbelly over other sub/sandwich shops because the quality is better. They did mess up the orders of two of my friends who came with me but they rectified the situation immediately.

This is a great place to get a bite before watching a movie at the plaza. I usually get the Chicken and chedder sub and load it up with all the topings. Their hot pepper spread is one of my personal favorites but when they load that sadwitch up with it it can get pretty damn spicy! The staff is ok, sometimes it looks like they are just killin time but I get that its not the most glorious job. Milkshakes are always on point when I get them unless the place is super busy. It definitely gets really busy on the weekends and the workers tend to have a hard time dealing with everyone.

Came back here with my hubby and it was as good as I remembered. I love this place… really wish they had a location in Long Island. Any way I had the ham and swiss with lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo and mustard and it was delicious! I love this place. excellent customer service and amazing food. Loved the chocolate brownie cookie. Hubby enjoyed the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie… definetely will be back!

Yummmm. Potbellys is my favorite chain sandwich shop and this location does a pretty good job. Similar layout to the other locations. I get the same lovely sandwich every time — the wreck with everything including the famous hot peppers. Do not underestimate how great those peppers are. Staff was friendly and efficient. Place seemed a little untidy but only after a big lunch rush.

I ate here because I have eaten at different Potbelly restaurants in Chicago many times. Like all past times, I was not disappointed. The quality of the food is good, and the staff was pleasant and geared towards getting you served quickly. You get a second to look over the menu, and then you must give your order to someone that is prepping the meat, cheese, and bread to go through the toaster. Then on the other side of the toaster is someone taking your topping order that is behind a counter too tall to see what’s what. Finally you take your sandwich from them and to the cash register where you pay for the sandwich, and any drink or chips you might have picked up along the way. I got the roast beef original with everything on it, and powered through eating the whole thing. I had my own drink from Starbucks down the street, but got these popped chips that were quite fantastic. Never had those before… In any case, It’s always a good experience to go to a Potbelly. Even the one in the Airport in Chicago is good. If you are looking for a sandwich, then consider going here.

I went to Potbelly for a quick lunch while visiting the area. Potbelly was busy but the line moved fast around prime lunch hours. I ordered the«Wreck» sub with a side of broccoli and cheese soup. The Wreck(salami, roast beef, turkey, ham, & Swiss cheese) sub was good. Customer can add different toppings from the menu like lettuce, tomatoes, hot peppers, ketchup, etc. The meats and toppings blended well together. I agree with other reviewers about Potbelly quality being better than other cheap sub shops. My broccoli and cheese soup was delicious. Prices were reasonable. The service was fast. Employees were polite. Potbelly is a good choice for quick cheap sub. I give Potbelly 3.5 rating. I look forward to Potbelly opening in Richmond soon.

Oh the sandwiches! I always get the turkey sandwich with Swiss cheese and the fixings minus a few things. The sugar cookie is amazing! Plus I can get cheese flavored sun chips and coleslaw if I am super hungry! The wait is not long either. The food is super filling and always good

Great sandwiches, delicious milkshakes and cookies to die for, oh the cookies! MY kids love the sugar cookies and I love the chocolate brownie cookie. Wish they had french fries! I only wish they would have a few more interesting and less standard sandwich options. The hot peppers on the sandwiches are a great addition if you like a little heat.

I love eating at Potbelly! I usually order online(they save may previous orders, which is helpful since I like to re-order the same sandwich), but you can also order by fax or of course on site :) They have three sandwich sizes, which is great, because you don’t have to over eat: Skinny. Regular, and Biggie. I really like their sandwiches, but the one time I tried their salad, it was awful. The lettuce was wilted, the chicken was unappealing, and the worst part was that it contained bacon! I specifically asked for no bacon, but there were more then just a few pieces of it. BP and I had to throw it away after we found the bacon for religious reasons. On the positive side, their cookies are delectable and I love their shakes. There’s nothing like having a cone from Potbelly while walking down the Rio Boardwalk. They also have live music at nights.
