Escaped in the night! With my money and nothing for the staff but a poor excuse! AVEEDANEEDSTOMONITORTHEIRGOODNAMEANDSTANDBEHINDIT! I had been a loyal customer of this spa for the past 14 years. Primarily due to the nail technicians Amy, Mai, and Quan. So, when they started recently to sell manicure and pedicure packages — series of 5 with payment up front I tried to help them out. It was clear that cash flow may be a problem. So, long story short — I treated my daughter and son’s girlfriend to a manicure just before Christmas — Christmas Eve to be exact and discovered via an email from one of the technician’s that the Spa was closing as of the 28th of December. I tried phoning the salon to inquire about my remaining 4 manicures– a refund was what I was seeking and discovered the phone was disconnected with no forwarding information! I called the National Aveeda line and was told that this salon was privately owned and there was nothing they could do. I SIMPLYDONOTAGREE! AVEEDA must understand that when private owners use their products and name that their reputation is aligned with these salons. I for one will not seek another Aveeda spa, but the real losers here are the incredible women who worked for Lynn Bearnarth at the Elaj Aveeda Day Spa for so long and simply were told to pack their belongings. Reprehensible!
