A bit pricey, but I am hoping for a better job than Zips does… $ 1.59 for shirts and $ 5.20 for a pair of pants. You pay at time of pickup. I saw a 10% off image in the pictures on Unilocal, but it was not honored. Here is what I was told: 1) I should have asked for it to be applied when I dropped off the clothes(even though you pay at pick-up) 2) Coupon cannot be used on same-day pick-up I will not be returning because it’s more expensive, a bit out of the way, and I don’t notice any great difference than going to Zips.

This is my dedicated dry cleaner. Its not just that its extremely convenient, right next door to a wine/beer store/consumption establishment, a Starbux and Harris-Teeters with tons o parking. Its that they fold my shirts beautifully and put them into a nice bag which I can reuse/repurpose/recycle. Even the little shirt-bags(plastic) are very handy. I don’t know if the processes they use are green, but what they do sure is. I can’t stand those 8 ft long useless plastic coverings on a flimsy hanger those other places use. Plus, I travel, and ride by bike, and am space-challenged, so the neatly folded shirts, clean, go into my bike panniers, luggage, or shelf. The prices are reasonable, considering the service, and I agree, is cheerful, with very decent hours. What’s there not to like? Yes, its not that $ 1.99 place, but they don’t give me what I want, and their service is atrocious. Yukky-poo-poo!

This cleaner is great! The lady who runs the place is always so cheerful and pleasant. It is a little pricey, however I always prefer to support local small businesses instead of chains like Zips. I recently dropped up my gorgeous suede, fitted jacket. The jacket always needs to be sent away for cleaning and takes about 2 weeks. I usually get it dry cleaned twice a year. It cost me $ 45(which is not bad for a designer suede jacket) and came back looking brand new! It is right next to Starbucks and close to my office, making morning drop off/morning routine a breeze! I am a frequent dry cleaner user, it increases the longevity of my clothing and keeps things looking crisp and clean! I am glad that places like Crown Cleaners are around!

I was attracted by an ad for 30% off dry cleaning and men’s shirts for $ 1.20. The cashier rang me up 4 shirts for $ 6.40! I told her about the flyer I had. She tried to cheat me. Very sad but I will have to go to Zips from now on.
