Don’t be scared off by the sketchiness of the hotel from the outside. While this is no 4 star hotel, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the prices are AMAZING for as close to campus as the hotel is.
We’ll stay again!

The rush lake motel is low priced and clean, they were always friendly when we showed up for THE FEST, they knew we were there to party so they put all the festers in the back of the motel so we didnt have to worry about making noise (walls are cinder block anyways) big balconys and also bottle openers by the toilet, how can you go wrong?
stayed there 3yrs in a row and never had an issue. if I ever go back to Gainesville I will stay there again. don’t be turned off by the looks of the place it is really a clean, friendly enviroment that has a swamp view and kitties running wild! love it!
