tasty banana pudding, and great service.
I drive from Buford because they are worth it.

Country food is the specialty here. We had a $ 7 lunch that included a meat, 2 veggies, drink, and a bread. The line looked long, but the wait was short. Portions were generous. Service was much better than expected. This place has a long future if they keep this up. The food was spot on, nearly flawless execution. The only drawback, is after lunch here, we may not need to eat again for a day or two. Locals, better than Loretta’s or Longstreet Café. Cheaper and better IMO. SO GLAD we skipped dessert.

We were camping at Don Carter Campground on Lake Lanier and went out in search of a meal. Thanks to Unilocal,we stumbled on the Rabbitown Café. Our family had a very filling, delicious dinner there for about $ 25 (we typically can’t feed our family for less than $ 40). The grilled chicken, rice/​gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes, fried chicken and sweet potato casserole were all delicious! We enjoyed it so much that we went back for breakfast today! It too was full of amazingness! We will go back again and again as we are in this little corner of GA!

Breakfast is the best around. Very reasonably priced but they only take cash or check. Cafeteria style with lots of options. Never had lunch or dinner there but I’m sure it’s good. Simple old country cooking.

Food is always good. The collard greens and turnips are always hot and yummy. Tonight I got the corn beef and cabbage casserole all I can say is WOW, very good. Best sweet tea and the peach cobbler speaks for its self two thumbs up. Did I mention breakfast omg awesome I’ll post more about breakfast later.

Wandered in about 2years ago. Every time I am any where around this place I have to come and eat!!! So! Good! Today was BBQ ribs, roast beef over rice, pork chop, catfish, chicken tenders! They open @ 5:30 am, need to stop for breakfast?

Man I love this place! Have been coming here for 10 plus years. Breakfast or lunch are both awesome! Huge serving sizes. Friendly staff. Don’t be afraid of the line it moves fast.

I had heard so many recommendations from locals regarding this place, so I decided to give it a try. It was if I stepped back in time to «Mayberry RFD.» The place was packed at 11 am on a rainy week day. I had an egg biscuit to go, and when I paid for it at the counter, and she said «$ 1.14, please,» I almost fainted on the spot. How can they make such great food at such a great value? What a gem :)

Rabbittown Café is a great place to eat! Country cooking buffet style and some of the best sweet tea I’ve ever had. One of my favorite places for lunch in the Gainesville area.
Don’t be afraid of the giant rabbit statue in the parking lot — he won’t bite.
