I was driving through Gainesville and decided to find a place to get my nails done. Stopped here since it had pretty good Unilocal reviews. Staff was very friendly, shop was clean, and my nails look great. I highly recommend.

I’ve been here twice, Long does an amazing job on my nails. I’m very picky and usually like a unique design. I come in and show him what I like and I’m yet to be disappointed. The place is very clean and everyone is very friendly.

this place is nice a lil expensive for me but I said go for it I got an deluxe pedi ($ 50) with hot stoneit was the. Nancy I think that was her name was Great and they have refreshments and tv you can watch I will be coming back :)

Best nail salon in Gainesville!!! Always great service and Katie is by far my favorite! She never complains when I was schlack on my toes! It is also spotless and use the latest in sterilization!

After coming here for over a year, Lavie nails and spa has declined in service, the last couple of times I’ve felt rushed and they’ve done a half-​ass job. I never get the consistency in service even though I always ask for the same pedicure. Won’t be coming back, many other salons out there willing to give you your time and money’s worth.

The techs at this salon are very professional and nicer than most I have been to. I get compliments often on my nails and toes. I usually get the gel manicure and regular pedicure. I love the paraffin wax part of the pedicure.

I’m from out of town and this place is one of the top places I’ve ever been to. I showed Nina the shape I wanted and she executed beautifully.
Nina took off my shellac polish with foil instead of a regular soaking. She also used the CND brand for base and top coat which is rare in Gainesville.
My friend came with me to have a gel manicure done as well and she was very pleased with Vivian.

Nice staff, but the polish from my pedicure came off in 3 days. Typically, I can get a month out of my pedicures.

This was my first time going to this nail salon and over all I was very satisfied with my pedicure. They are very responsibly priced and it only took about 40mins. I will definitely going back!

I dropped in here when I had a break from work they took me right away did a wonderful spa pedicure spa manicure and gel nails will see how long the gel nails last but they’re supposed to last for up to two weeks the people were wonderful they did a great job they took their time was very relaxing

I just moved to the area and went to this salon on the recommendation of Unilocal subscribers. It was cleanest salon I have ever been to. They did a nice job and I will definitely go back.

I cannot be thankful enough that this place opened right in my neighborhood! I’ve tried many nail salons in the area before this opened and la vie beats all of them by far. Usually, I go to them for gel tips and a pedicure and Ive yet to be disappointed by their service and quality. The tips easily last over three weeks while still looking fabulous. I also love the fact that they sanitize all their equipment and take it out of the bag in front of you before they start working on your nails. When you get a pedicure, they line the tubs with plastic to avoid contamination. I have not seen any other nail salon do this. They’ve got a huge selection of nail colors, both gel and regular. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who was looking for a nail salon in the area.

I moved to Gainesville 2 years ago and thought I had tried every nail salon out here, and was even driving 20 minutes back to my old nail salon because none of the other ones I tried were any good. I’m not even picky, but to leave a nail salon with nail polish on your fingers is not what I wanted to pay for.
I found this nail salon randomly and thought I would give it a try and have been going back ever since. I had Nina for my pedicure and she was so precise, neat, and thorough. Not only that but the foot and leg massage she gave me almost put me to sleep. I just recently saw Tina for a full set of acrylic because she said Nina does not do those and Tina was also amazing. My nails look almost fake they are so perfect!
So relieved to have found my new nail salon. They ate very reasonably priced too!

I’ve been going to this salon since it opened last year. So glad to have a quality salon right in my neighborhood. I have tried every nail salon in Gainesville and this one is by far number one! I Love Tina!!!

So a week has gone by and my thumbnail just peeled off! What the heck! I’ve had gel manicures last 3+ weeks and then they started chipping at the end or getting loose around the edges. Never have I had any manicure peel off and I have very healthy nails. I am positive that the gel wasn’t applied correctly. I am so unhappy.

This nail salon is one of the best I’ve been to in a while. Not only do they have 2 walls of color (left is regular polish, right side is gel colors), but they also have pretty new colors as well, including the Essie Summer 2014 collection.
My sister and I opted for gel manicures and spa pedicures + herbal. They have a nice book for you to choose from for herbal soaks/​scrubs/​lotions. I chose green tea and rosemary and my sister chose green tea and ginger. The scrub and lotion were gently massaged in and let to soak under 2 warm towels wrapped around our legs. We also had the option of getting a drink like tea, but I had to ask (it wasn’t offered). The chairs for pedicures are nice because you can adjust the position and angle, as well as the strength.
Everything seemed nice and clean, including the fact that the pedicure tubs are lined with a remove-​able plastic container that is discarded after every customer. New tools are used each time too. I don’t like the wasteful aspect, but I do like the cleanliness.
There is a bit of a communication barrier. One of our people did not speak English and I left not knowing either of their names. Their gel manicure curing machines require you to repeatedly move your hands in and out because there is a timer on the light that is too short. I also wanted art on my nails and after my manicure they said my nails were too short for what I wanted.
