Hector Framing & Gallery

I came into Hector’s Framing & Gallery with a painting on cradled board that was too deep for most all of the frames I had come across to that point. Hector proposed a unique and creative solution for my piece, and the result was beyond anything I could have expected. The framing elevated my painting to the next level. I have a newfound respect for what framing can do for artwork, and will be sure to revisit Hector Framing & Gallery in the future.

I had four prints framed by Hector for my office. I was tired of blah offices so I wanted them to look stunning, but had no idea what the best framing or matting options were to accomplish that. Hector examined the pieces, asked about the lighting in my office, and then made a gorgeous suggestion. The prints were framed within a week or so and they do indeed look amazing on the wall. The frame job can have a big impact on the visuals for a piece. If you have art that is important to you, I strongly recommend Hector to take care of it and figure out how to show it off to its best potential.

I have a full set of Lady Frieda Harris tracing boards, which Hector beautifully framed in such a fashion as to accent the synthetic projective geometry of the artwork. I am very pleased with the prices, professionalism, and workmanship of Hector and his crew. Highly recommended!

I am so happy with the framing Hector did for me! I brought in six different items to be framed. Hector gave me great suggestions about how to best frame my art and they all look amazing. It’s obvious that Hector has a lot of experience and really cares that you get quality, beautiful work. I was a little nervous to have fabric art framed but Hector did a wonderful job. I was also impressed by how quickly my items were framed. The pricing is good, especially for such great quality. The staff and Hector are very friendly and knowledgeable.
I will definitely have more things framed by Hector. Highly recommended!

I came here to get some family heirlooms framed. the owner was at the shop and was able to direct me towards a style and price that was perfect for me. After a week and a half I got my call and all three frames were perfect! I definitely recommend these guys.
plus it’s also a gallery and there is a lot of interesting artwork up. I think that there is a show next month and I’m definitely going to go.

I had 2 pictures framed by Hector himself. The results were high quality and very professional. I recommend Hector to anyone who wants a professional framing.
When I first visited Hector’s store I found it to be a little crowded and disorganized. Really, there is no place for even the customer to stand, and no examples of their work were shown to me. As someone who had never had a professional framing done before, this made me a little uncomfortable. But getting to talk to Hector himself was reassuring. You could see this was his passion and he knew what he was doing. He was able to turn around the work fast and called me personally when they were finished. I love the work he did and was very happy with his service.
Prices are high, but this is professional framing. This is for works of art or documents you want preserved for a lifetime with the best quality. It’s a small price to pay when you think of it that way.

I have used Hector Framing and Gallery twice now and could not be happier. This place is in a good location here in Gainesville and the staff is both friendly and experienced. If you’re looking for great quality work with very fair prices, Hector’s is the place to go. I will use and highly recommend them again.

I’ve been to Hector’s F & G twice now to have about 10 LE prints framed. I know art but not frames and Hector spent at least a half hour discussing framing options with me for each work — every time I’ve been in there. They all turned out great with no damage done to any of them. This is a very professional company, with an owner that genuinely cares for his clients. It’s worth mentioning that I got my framed prints back within 2 days of the order, which I thought was amazing considering the number of prints that I bring in there at a time. Thanks, Hector!

My first time to the shop, Hector came in earlier than scheduled just to give me personalize framing advice. They did an excellent job framing my 5 paintings despite that my canvasses were a challenge because they were flimsy. Hector handled them great and didn’t rip any of them. I will definitely go back with my next batch of artwork.

A very good place to get framing services. I called a local arts professional at a major public institution for recommendations -(not to name names) — and that person recommended this place and one other for museum quality framing services.
I chose this place since it was the smaller of the two options, and I always aim for the little guy. I became pleasantly engaged in a great conversation with the owner and, in the end, had 3 pieces framed. I have over 200 pcs in my collection, and I honestly –hate– paying for framing — it exists to protect work IMO, and its a necessity, not a ‘want’. I’m much happier spending money on more art, but these three pieces needed protection.
Sidenote: Reminds me why I buy mostly paintings. Framing can be omitted if the edge is done right. heh.
In any case, the work was done well, within a reasonable budget, and within a reasonable time. Plus the owner has an eclectic collection of work himself. I really appreciate his passion for religious 3-​D work. I’m unfamiliar with that genre, but it was interesting to learn a small bit there. I’ll be back when its time to get my graduate diploma framed!
