We have always enjoyed eating here… until today. Finding a hair, that appears to be from a certain nether region in our french fries just made my stomach turn, and we will never be back. We got our order to go, so unfortunately couldn’t bring up our issue in person. Completely disgusted.

Here for fries which my girl who loves. Not into the burgers or sandwiches. Fries are always crispy and salted. I don’t do the peanuts or milkshakes. I like that they try to ease the wait time with the peanut option but not for me. Nice that they list where the potatoes are from. Floors dirty from trash but tables cleaned. Wish they offered BBQ sauce for fries.

The customer service was great. Everyone was very friendly and polite. The customer service was a 5+. However, the food was not great. The bacon was very crunchy. The lettuce was not fresh. I ordered a grilled cheese with fries. Fries were amazing.

Looking for one of the best hamburgers around, not to mention what might be the area’s best french fries? Look no further than Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Looking for an extensive menu, full of a variety of dining options? You might want to look elsewhere. This restaurant knows what it is and does it well. It says it all in the name. Sure, you can«branch out» with a hot dog, some peanuts, or a shake, but, if you’re going to Five Guys, you’re going for the burgers and the fries. Personally, I might classify their fries as the best in the area. Sprinkled with some malt vinegar, they have to be considered one of life’s finer creations. Portions on the fries are generous as well, with a small size a more than comfortable serving an adult. The only downside is the price, which is affordable by restaurant standards but certainly not cheap. The smallest burger, without cheese or bacon, runs $ 5, while the cheapest french fry option reaches nearly $ 3. As an individual out for lunch, expect to run $ 11-$ 12 for a burger, fries, and a drink. The local establishment is located in the up-and-coming Virginia Gateway town center, along Atlas Walk. The restaurant is always clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. But that’s secondary. You’re going for the food, and the food is top-notch!

IMHO5 guys has the best burgers. They seem to get it just right every time. This location tends to take a little bit longer than most to get your order cooked and served. A small price to pay for a superior burger.

The best feature about this location is the Coke Machine and large drinks which are of value. I find the burgers at 5 guys over priced but tasty. I will return to this location. This location is always loud… I have been to other 5 guys but this one is always super loud.

This place is the best. The burgers are amazing. I second what the below reviewers have raved. I need not write it again. The only downside is the cost. To get a cheeseburger its about $ 7 or $ 8. But hey, the quality is much better than you would find elsewhere and though you couldnt afford to make this your go-to-fast-food place, its definitely quite a step up from McDonalds and Burger King.

The best burgers around! They always give you extra fries. I almost gave them a 4 star rating because I have found that they are not as fast as some other locations, but not that bad.

Good burger and fries… but now they’re offering hand sound shakes! Ask for a side of Cajun seasoning if you’re into spicy food. I particularly like how they keep the burgers juicy!

Always a nice burger at this place. The staff very friendly and service is quick. I usually get the bacon cheeseburger with whatever veggies I am feeling for that day. It’s pretty cool that you can pick and choose what you want or don’t want on your burger. My only complaint is that the radio is always a bit loud here.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries are a fabulous concept. Who doesn’t like fresh burgers and Boardwalk style fries? Well, I do, anyway. I’ve visited several locations in the area, and the food has been fabulous at all of them, which tells me that this franchise cares about quality control. It’s not haute cuisine, it’s burgers and dogs, but what they do, they do fabulously. This particular location is a fave. The service is always prompt and friendly, and my order has always been correct. In addition, they have the absolute coolest self-serve soda machine ever. My daughter and I have a wonderful time choosing from the numerous options, and try a new flavor every time. Helpful hint: Order the regular burger unless you’re REALLY hungry, and share an order of fries, because it’s HUGE. Generous is an understatement where these portions are concerned. You will pay more for these than average fast food, but it’s still a good value. I don’t feel rushed, even when they’re packed, and important for me, the bathrooms are well maintained and clean. It’s a great atmosphere in a picturesque location with lots of other businesses like Gamestop, and close to Target and Giant, which makes it a perfect place to take a shopping break.

How I heard of this place: The first I had heard of Five Guys was when the first one opened in Seattle(in Northgate). A few friends decided to check it out before a movie one evening and the reviews were all positive. I had only sampled the fries last year in July. Tonight was my chance to sample it full-on! Type of cuisine: Burgers and fries. No frills or gimmicks, just a good ol’ greasy burger and fries. Oh! And hot dogs, too! «When it comes to fast food and „fast casual“ restaurants my standards aren’t usually very high… probably because I’ve been let down so many times. Five Guys Burgers and Fries has always been the exception. This isn’t the first time I’ve chronicled my love and passion for Five Guys, however my visit to Five Guys today radically changed my entire view on their restaurant and what we should expect from every restaurant we visit.» Ambiance: Five Guys prides themselves, simply, on quality, service and cleanliness. The rest is just fluff. White with red and black accents, Five Guys is a recognizable franchise throughout the United States and Canada. Even the font used for the logo is simple, classic and unpretentious. Clean is an understatement at this Gainesville location, where patrons are welcomed to the counter and orders are taken off of the simple menu: Burgers, dogs, sandwiches, fries and drinks(in two sizes: regular or large). Fluorescent lights shine brightly, creating a sense of being outdoors, even though the sun has set and the street lights have switched on. Light, wooden chairs and tables, in regular fashion and bar-seating options(with tall tables and backed-stools), are found throughout the space, some alongside the floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the establishment. Orders are available for pick-up just around the corner, after your burgers are grilled to your liking and your brown paper bag packed with greasy goodness. No plates, no silverware, just paper cups, foil-wrapped food, brown paper bags and white napkins. What I ordered: The three of us dining at Five Guys on this post-fast evening shared one order of the large fries($ 4.99), cajun style. My two dining companions ordered large drinks($ 2.19), which included free refills at the soda fountain. For our main entrees, I selected the little bacon cheeseburger($ 5.09) with everything, or all the way as some might call it: mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup and mustard(all free) and the addition of jalapeño peppers. One of my dining companions also selected the little bacon cheeseburger. The third in our party went for the two-patty bacon cheeseburger($ 6.59) with everything, except the pickles. He also ordered the bacon cheese dog($ 4.79), of which he offered sample bites. On a return visit, Friday, May 13, 2011: After seeing«Bridesmaids» at the theater in Tyson’s Corner Mall, we needed a greasy bite to eat, and Five Guys won my vote of all of the Food Court options. On this visit, I selected the little bacon cheeseburger($ 5.19) — as usual — all the way, topped with everything and then some! It was delicious, gooey and falling apart all over my hands and the piece of foil in which it was not-so-delicately wrapped. On the side, I had to have a regular size of the cajun style fries, regular-sized($ 2.69), spicy and full of punch, just the way I like. What I loved: The fries are to die for! Thick-cut and spiced with cajun seasonings, even those missing the seasoning, melt in your mouth. Freshly fried, served in a large cup and good to the last bite! These are not the type of fries you have to start with or find that they have gone limp and stale. One can enjoy them from the beginning to the satisfying, finger-licking end. I also loved the fresh jalapeño peppers, cut thick and full of heat, over my juicy burger with a generous helping of toppings. Why I loved it: Really, what’s not to love? The food is simple, fresh and made-to-order. The taste: delicious. The space: clean and well-kept. The orders taken and food served easily and quickly. Cost: Average to high($ 4-$ 7 per burger)

Consistency, quality and flavor are the roots of success for any restaurant. 5 guys simply nails those criteria for me every time. When in doubt and decision making debacle for food, get a 5 guys hamburger.

Another visit to Five Guys and another full stomach! The beauty of Five Guys are it’s burgers, fries and peanuts. The burgers– huge and juice with tons of topping choices. On mine I had everything that is written in black(free toppings) except the pickles. Now thinking about it I don’t know why not the pickles but oh well. The burgers are cooked fresh right there in front of you! Fries– never frozen fresh cut Idaho potato! If you get a large it would feed a family of 4! Make sure to get vinegar and a little bit of ketchup. Sadly I’ve never tried the Cajun fries yet. The peanuts– FREEPEANUTS! Oh and the soda machine now has 100 flavor possibilities!

Five Guys takes hamburgers to another level. Your basic burger has two patties. All toppings are free. «All the way,» or «Everything» includes mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, and mustard. You can also have relish, onions(fresh-raw), jalapeño peppers, green peppers, A1 Steak Sauce, BBQ sauce, and hot sauce. They are made to order, so what you get is fresh, not twenty minutes old like the usual fast food hamburgers. If you order french fries, just order one small fry. They put it in the bag, then throw another scoop or two in the bag filling it over half way. Drinks are $ 2.19/$ 2.39 and include refills. Bottled water is $ 2.09. So you can fork over $ 10+ for hamburger, fries, and drink. I bring my own bottled water and don’t order fries. Lunch is about $ 5.50 including tax.

Stopped in for a double Bacon Cheeseburger and a small order of Cajun fries, plus a Caffeine free Diet Coke. Burger was delicious greasy goodness! Fries were also very good! My one complaint about Five Guys is that they give you way to many fries. A small order is still a massive order — and I can’t even come close to finishing half an order. Seems like a huge waste of food!
