Came here for some dinner my first night in Gainesville(was in town on business). It’s a cute little restaurant with a non-traditional way of running things. Once you are seated, they take your order and bring it, then you’re on your own. If you need to pay or you need a box for leftovers, you need to go to the front desk and pay or ask for a box. We weren’t sure because they didn’t explain any of that. We had to just watch what the other diners were doing. They also tax you if you pay with a credit card and your bill is less than $ 10 which was weird. The food was amazing though! I had their tofu vermicelli and it was awesome. My friend had their beef phở and he was very happy with it. Portions are very filling. We both had leftovers. The funny thing is that this place is mostly known as a brunch place. They have all your traditional brunch menu items but we never had the chance to try them. Heard good things though. All I can say is that I highly recommend them for their Vietnamese food.

Got chicken pad Thai and was pleasantly surprised how good it was and how much they gave me. Definitely going back again

Probably one of the first places I’ve dined at since living in Gainesville. The owner is very nice and friendly. The staff is young college students that look like they’ve been working here for awhile and know their customers. I recommend getting the curry beef or chicken with rice with Thai iced tea.

This may be the most bizarre combinations of foods ever, but it works. Breakfast tastes like grandma’s best and lunch/dinner is authentic Asian-style food. It’s a great place to go for comfort foods at a great price. You’ll never find another place like it!

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Gainesville. I haven’t tried the Asian side of the menu but I’ve never left unsatisfied after eating in for breakfast. If you’re going on the weekends make sure to get there early because it’s relatively popular with college students and since it isn’t the biggest venue it fills up quickly!

I love this place. I like the combination of great Vietnamese food and bagels that they have available. The service is reasonable(not the best I’ve ever had, but good). «But Joe, why give them 2 Stars when their service is good and the food is great?» I’m glad you asked. They do the illegal thing of charging $.50 extra for a credit card transaction under $ 10. If you don’t believe me that it’s illegal, here’s the link to Florida Statute 501.0117.( ) I’ll more than likely return to this place even though they have this ridiculous fee, but I just take it out of the tip.

Getting there you park in the back and you walk in on university. The utensils were a bit grimy with dried water stains or at least I hope. The server was nice and patient. The food was served quick enough however the Deluxe Beef Phở I ordered was all noodles and not enough beef. And it ran for about $ 9.95. Overall I was an ok experience just bring your own utensils or learn how to use chopsticks.

Overall every time I come here I have an O.K. experience. I’ve never waited too long to be seated, to get my order taken, the food comes out in a timely manner, and the food is just that, O.K. Space: The restaurant is conveniently located close to campus, and my apartment. That, I do love. They have old-ish red booth seats, green lights, and obscure paintings. They could use an interior decorator, but it’s not that bad. Service: I think the service is what usually keeps me from coming back often. They are usually very busy and the servers just don’t seem to care much. They take your order, bring out the food and disappear. We wanted to get some water before we left, we waiting 15 minutes… Tried to flag two of the waitresses down and just decided to leave. Food: Their hashbrowns are great, just the right combination of crispy and soft. Overall their food is good. I haven’t had their Vietnamese food as I usually come here for breakfast/brunch. Their bagels are good and so is their bacon.

Very unique place but does both Vietnamese and breakfast very well! The breakfast casserole and hearty with meat are my favorite breakfast dishes and the wonton soup with rice noodles and fresh rolls are awesome for lunch. Great for cheap hangover Sunday breakfast or take out. Can get very crowded on the weekends but worth the wait!

Love the food and low-key ambiance. Not the cleanest, most elegant place in the world, but prices and food are great.

A great breakfast/brunch place for college students and for the occasional hangover cure. They serve an array of breakfast foods to Vietnamese cuisine. I’ve only gone a few times but every time I’ve gone I’ve enjoyed the homey food. I always order breakfast if I can and I get the cost-efficient yet filling Eggel Bagel with corn hash(bc who doesn’t love corn hash) and I’m always satisfied after. It’s one of their cheapest dishes and it never disappoints. A lot of my friends get the phở when they come here though and they love it. The atmosphere is very casual and it exhibits a college town hole in the wall joint. It’s not fancy but it’s a diner that one can feel comfortable in upon arrival. However, every time I’ve gone it’s been packed besides an early weekday morning. Weekend mornings there is always a line out the door so try and get there early or expect to wait. Service is always meh when I’ve gone just bc I’ve gone when it’s busy. The one time I had super attentive service was the weekday when I was 1 out of 3 customers there.

This place is a hole in the wall, but food is great. Had the chicken pad thai and spring rolls. Portion is huge and had great flavor. We had a big group so the food came out at all different times, but overall was a good place to eat. Will be back to try the phở!

I liked this place but a few things concerns me. Pro: the food was delicious. But I was a bit confused that they serve bagel/traditional American breakfast food AND Vietnamese and Thai food. I got a seaweed salad and the phở soup. The server was nice and she explained their different beef flavor phở. The soup was hot and delicious and the portion was quite big. So food and service was on point. Price was also very reasonable. My meal came out to about $ 11. Con: I can’t get over how dirty that floor was. There was straw wrappers and a ketchup cup on the floor. There was also a spider on the window next to me. I tried to kill it with my shoes but it just didn’t die, it fell down and got right back up. I sat in the front dining room and it was just hot in there. I just feel they should have a better ac system since we are in Florida. And I’m still confused if I parked in the right parking lot. I walked through the back of the restaurant, I might have parked in the employee lot but there was no where else to park.

As a college student Bagel’s and Noodles is conveniently located. But it is beyond me how prices are full price for barely no meet. For example, the shrimp summer roll on has two pieces of shrimp in it. Just to open the roll and see that it was only one shrimp, cleverly cut so guests would think its an entire shrimp. Not only that the shrimp was no de-veined. Super disappointing. Not only that the restaurant is sticky from humidity and smells odd. I would put up with the the ugly restaurant if in fact the would was Whay it claimed to be. Don’t charge full price for half pieces of shrimp.

The service here is always so, so bad, but the food makes up for it. It’s a quirky place that many people don’t know about. I’ve only had the LoMein both times I’ve gone, and it’s always been very good and very filling! I recommend it if you’re looking for some good Asian food at a great price.

This place makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is a blend of Classic golf décor and touches of Thai. The menu has a variety of options from breakfast burrito to Lo mein. I’ve had almost every thing on the menu and the best options has to be the 2 egg special as the breakfast option and then the chicken curry is outstanding. It’s a great place to eat. Do it!

I think the best way to think of this place is its a college town staple. It doesn’t have nice or logical décor but it has a solid breakfast for a reasonable price. I always get some sort of omelette and I never eat more than half of it. So for about $ 8 – 9 I get breakfast and lunch. Service is ok, nothing special. I’ve had their phở, but not enough times to make any judgment on it.

Pretty horrible place food-wise, but the ambiance is rad. The food is overpriced and the service is so-so, though the waitresses have decent hair. My omelet with cheddar and sausage wasn’t as good as what I make at home. This was a fabulous first date b/c it was casual and I could side sideways in the booth when I needed to change the plane of my attention. Solid effort, maybe I’ll come back, maybe not. ~~Meh~~

The name threw me when i first saw it but it’s actually pretty smart. In the morning they’re a great place to grab a bagel and at lunch they start serving some pretty good Vietnamese food. The décor is a little weird not sure how golf has anything to do with eagles noodles or college food but still a solid place to grab a meal.

$ 9 for so much Chicken Pad Thai you could eat it for two meals but you don’t because you can’t stop eating it and then you go into a food coma after. I can’t speak for the breakfast part of the restaurant because I only ever get Phở, Dumplings and Pad Thai, all of which are great. The service is great considering they are always busy all the time. I highly recommend.
