Alliance Medical Practice

I would normally never do this, but have been so upset with my husband’s experience here a few months ago and even before that that I felt I really needed to. To begin with, he was contacted by a very rude front desk person ONE DAY BEFORE his yearly appointment to be told that the physician he normally sees is no longer with the practice and he would not be able to be rescheduled with someone different for at least a month. Most of us only see a doctor when something is wrong or for that once a year insurance physical/​check-​up; therefore any medical issues or questions we may have are brought up at this time. Dr. Brandon made my husband feel so rushed and unimportant that he is now seeing someone else. His brusque nature may have been appropriate for the battlefield,(a story he was sure to tell him), but not for the office. In addition my husband has a number of health questions associated with aging that he felt were brushed off as annoying When he asked about a vasectomy, Dr. Branin condescended to call it a simple «snip snip,» and told him to get back to him when he was actually ready… offering no compassion or information whatsoever…
Just recently I left a message, as no one answered the phone at 11:30am, and never got a call back. As I said before, because of this and similar previous experiences we will now be seeing another family doctor.

Everyone at Alliance Medical is WONDERFUL! I have no reservations about recommending any of the providers. Dr. B and AL are my absolute favs! They really take the time to listen to your concerns and do not just write prescriptions and send you on your way! I’ve been going to see them for 6+ years now and have never had a bad experience. Also, if your looking for Botox — go see Dr. B — he’s a Master :) Can’t go wrong here!

Update! McNamara is gone, they’ve got some lady named April or something, but Otero is back so I’m back to him.
Otero is great. I know some women are uncomfortable having men perform pap smears etc and I don’t think I previously mentioned that he also does my gynecological exams and is VERY professional about it and doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable in the least. Al is the best!

I’ve been here many, many (way too many) times this year. June 6^th Al Otero came back to the office, so any Al fans… you got your wish.
Dr. Branin is the main doctor here and he is just great! He has a great sense of humor and an eagle eye for suspicious freckles. I’ve had several removed and he has a 97% rate of accuracy in detecting cancerous spots! In other words, he doesn’t need any fancy, expensive light to tell him if your freckle is likely to kill ya!
Oh, and now I have insurance they’ll take! :) YAY
