The Worthington

My mother and grandmother live here. I asked for their opinion for this review. They say that they like the atmosphere and they really like the residents. The main complaint that I hear from them repeatedly is about the food. You have to pay for the food, whether you eat there or not. They say that it is not the quality of the food but they way it is cooked. They say it is either under or over cooked and there are often odd combinations or ingredients.
My opinion is that the place is very clean and the staff is friendly. The food is usually «just ok». Some meals that I have eaten were definitely better than others. The only thing I have disliked about The Worthington is that I feel like they take advantage of the residence financially. It is pretty expensive to live here, and they raise the rent consistently. If you want to lock into a rate, you have to pay a large lump sum up front.
