Salon Lofts

Salon Lofts is a very cool concept. I wouldn’t suggest doing a walk in, as I could see it being confusing. But making an appointment is super easy online, and they send you text and email reminders. I had a great first experience there with Kristi M. I would highly recommend her. I know I’ve find my new stylist in Columbus! :) the prices are very fair, the atmosphere is welcoming and the whole experience was fabulous. I also have my dream cut and color as a result! Give it a shot!

An interesting place — each person rents out their own space — yet, there is no coordinator to help with «walkins accepted» as listed on their entry walls.
I was desperate to get the hair cut, and wandered around for a while looking lost. Someone eventually helped me and I found a very nice stylist. I guess you’re supposed to wander around asking each person if they are free or have free time?
Maybe a whiteboard schedule for each day might help at the main entrance, along with each person’s contact number. It was awkward wandering.
But, for a hair cut where I requested still being able to put it in a twist or pony tail, it’s well up above my shoulders. That was my only stipulation… $ 55 for a haircut and style.
