If I could give this location zero stars I absolutely would. This is, by far, the WORST customer service I have ever received. When I went to place my order I said everything very clearly to the woman taking my order, except for apparently when she asked what size and I responded with medium then she proceeded to basically yell at me «WHATSIZE?!» very slowly as if I was stupid and couldn’t understand. Once I got my order placed, I went to the window, paid, and got my food and he slammed the window in my face before even attempting to give me my drink. At this point I decided to just let it go because I was already so angry. When I checked, I noticed they gave me the wrong order. So I turned back around and advised them and was told to pull up to the window. The same man who gave me the wrong food before decided the best way to treat me was to blame ME for him giving me the incorrect food. I also asked for my drink and he told me he tried to hand it to me but I shook my head no and drove off. I’m sorry, but I definitely don’t think you slamming the drive thru window in my face equates to you trying to do your job and me telling you no. That’s not what happened at all, you just don’t want to take blame. I would go out of my way to never have to go to this McDonalds again. I even signed up for Unilocal so I could make this known.

Worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to!!! The entire staff saw an ice cream truck outside an ran out, leaving me alone in the restaurant. I still can’t believe this actually happened…

I would go out of my way to go to another McDonalds. It’s Shamrock season so that means my annual trip for one of these artificcial pleasures. I have for the most part avoided buying milkshakes from here for the last few years and I remember why. I pulled up to the drive-thru with one car in front of me and another in the the other lane. After 10 minutes(not a lie) I received my chocolate shake. Wait why you may ask? After I had paid for my shamrock shake and waited ten minutes what could I do. They told me they were out of sharmock mix and if they could get me a different flavor. My tastebuds had already been gearing up for cold milkshake goodness so I said whatever get me chocolate. Biggest regret in my fat eating weekend. I don’t like their milkshakes as they aren’t like they used to be. They didn’t offer a bigger size(not like that would have made it better), a re-imbursement, or any extras. Sonic has offered me free food if they take too long or messed up. So Mcdonalds, you wonder why your sales are falling. Customer service is one aspect of it. The new façade doesn’t help this place and the manger must have been having a bad day because the car in front of me was complaining to him even after I left. I will pass on myy Shamrock shake this year. I will always pass on stopping at this McDoonalds. This ranks up there with the always out of shale mix McDonalds by the fair grounds.

We very rarely, if ever, go inside this one. I usually go through the drive thru either before or after work. They are very quick in their drive thru.

Can I give zero stars? This place is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. After dark, it gets dicey to even spend money here as the employees who worked here were trying to steal money from customers at night.(as of Oct 2012– this review was delayed due to travel) I had to contact the corporate office regarding the issue because the employee lied to my face about my change back from $ 15.32 given, I gave exact change so only bills would be returned) and he just went blank in the face. Math skills should be top priority when you are stealing cash from the till. Corporate made it seem like this was no big deal based on the letters I received, but had I used a credit card, who knows what would have happened. Corporate was less than helpful: unreturned phone call, general template letter mailed to me about looking into the issue, a coupon for a free combo…(Because I want to go back) the topper to this was the survey I had to do online about whether I would return to McDonald’s in the future. Why?! This city is full of other healthier options that will not try to lie to me when they get caught stealing my money. Plus, with a Wendy’s on every other block nearby in Whitehall, a BK, White Castle, etc… why go back. If you have a hankering for food late at night that will not be satisfied without that less than tasty looking McRib– go to the McDonald’s at the Airport.

Our first and last visit to this location. We went into downtown(ish) Gahanna because the one closest to us is consistently horrible. We thought with this being a new location that surely they wouldn’t have gone from trying to impress customers to slacking already, right? Wrong. We pulled up at 8:30pm, a little late for dinner than normal but not unheard of. We asked for the cheeseburger value meal and when she asked what drink we wanted, we said water. She said we couldn’t get one because she couldn’t ring it up that way. Uh, scuzi? You mean water isn’t an option or at minimum you can’t say«sure» and ring it up as any other drink on the ticket but still give me the tap water in a cup? It’s a sad day when I can’t get a water. Then I got my meal and grabbed a fry. Not even lukewarm. One of the burgers(the first one) was cold and the other was freshly made. Wow. Didn’t take long for that to go to Hell in a handbasket. So indifferent service and cold food must now be an across the board company standard? We rarely go to McD’s as it is(maybe 2−3x per year) but I’m beginning to think even that isn’t worth it. The past 3 experiences all at different locations have been horrible.
