So this review is not for the place, but the area this bar is located in. Came here to meet up with some friends around 8. There wasn’t any parking in their side lot so I drove around. Wow. Super sketchy. Boarded up abandoned buildings and lots of people out on the street… addicts, homeless, & teenagers/young adults(the ones that look like trouble). I used to club in LA, but not on streets like this. I figured maybe they had a secure back lot. They do have a lot, but it was full and a security guard approached me and said not to park in any business or apartment lots or I would get towed. Okay sounds reasonable. Then he says and that I should park in the secured lot if I didn’t want my car broken into, scratched up, or anything else to happen to it. Ummm ok. So I go to park across the street in a secured lot for $ 10. First thing in see is a lady who looks like an addict next to the lot, then there is a large German shepherd chained to the secure lot fence barking at me, then the guy who apparently takes the cash comes up in pants and a tank top… no parking attendant shirt or stand just a sign in neon spray paint says«honk twice». So I’m thinking I could be giving some random dude money to supposedly park in a secured lot with an addict right out front. Seriously, drive around and you’ll understand. Maybe it’s a cool place inside, but too ghetto of an area to risk my safety.

First time here and already pissed !! No signs nor on website states you have to pay with CASHONLY to get in !!! Absurd!!! You take cc for drinks but not for cover charge; really? Music and food better be good! Cover charge $ 10/pp. music was good; BUT allowing customers to go out in the dance floor with drinks is a Big NONO! Spills all over the floor slip waiting to happen! Owners I’d reconsider banning drinks on dance floor! The DJ Richard Blade…, yuk! Bad choice music way too loud and the mix of music BAD!

This place Absolutely Horrible. I came here with my brother and sister in law. WE all left unsatisfied. The service was horrible. The security wannabe Cop was such a jerk. This place was just bad vibes. So sad because the all we wanted was to have a good time.

Came for a children event with our baby so he could check out his cousin performing. The security /bouncer would not let us in because in our diaper bag there was the water bottle we use for our baby’s formula. A children’s event! Arguing it out with him he just responded it’s policy, I understand during regular hours this is a bar, that policy would then make sense but such policy when you are doing a children’s event to not let baby formula water in??? Even his co-workers came out and told him that it was stupid to just let us in, he would still say no. We had to wait outside for 30 minutes for the manager to finally come out, who had nothing to say, he literally said nothing, he did let us in but we got no apologies or nothing from either manager or security. Even after we got in that same security kept starring us down the whole time. What a crappy environment, not friendly staff at all. Won’t be going there again!

Food was 3 stars at best… dancing was 5 stars! Drinks were cold and reasonably priced, service was ok. Overall we would definitely come back!

Came for my birthday this past weekend! The place was awesome ! The drinks were strong, the waitress was fun & attentive, the music was great. There’s a pretty large dance floor, and then there’s also a decent size stage connected to it, which you can dance on also. There was a $ 10 cover charge, or $ 20 for VIP… We went VIP which gave us access to a sectioned off set of reserved tables and the waitress came to us instead of having to wait at the long line at the bar.(The sectioned off area is pretty small but I loved that it was right next to the dance floor, so we had easy access to and from). The restrooms were surprisingly clean! Over all was a great time !! Would recommend anyone to come for a getaway from the usual patty scene. Also, some people were dressed 80’s theme which was really cute ! ASFORPPLCOMPLAININGABOUTPARKING… I recommend an Über anyway, like I said, the drinks are strong. And one of my friends who drove parked all the way down one of the residential streets. The parking lot was pretty small. The earlier you come, the better.

First you gotta pay $ 10 for parking $ 10 to get in the place. They don’t take card to pay you need cash. So you’re already down 20 not including if you used their atm with high fees it’s annoying. The music is cool but it’s to loud to communicate and the drink prices are not comparable to other places. Don’t waste your time here.

This place is amazing. I love it. The food was awesome. My bestie and I shared the chili cheese tots and each had the breakfast club burger. And shared the upsidedown oreo sundae. Drinks were yummy too. We had fishbowls and slushies Our waitress Aria was very attentive. Checked on us often. She was awesome.

While it was fun to dance to 80’s music, and the staff was nice, it left something to be desired, in my opinion. To me, regarding yesterday(again, strictly my opinion) these are the cons: –Lack of free club parking. We wound up parking next door for $ 10 in a muddy lot. Awesome for the shoes. –Cover charge started at 7pm. I was told late night cover. Late night, to me, means 10pm(like the«late night menu» on their website) not the time they open at 7pm. $ 10 just to get in. –Scheduled performances/tributes didn’t happen. Supposed to be a Prince tribute and a live Depeche Mode tribute. Neither of those happened between 9pm and 12:30, at least not that we saw. –no glasses of water. You must purchase bottled water for $ 3. Never have I known a bar or club to do this outside of Vegas, and Vegas this certainly isn’t. Overall, we might go back, but this is pretty far away from other nightlife and isn’t particularly fabulous.

I’m really disappointed to say that after multiple visits here, my loyalty is unappreciated. I came here on 5÷5÷16 with a friend and within minutes of getting our drinks, a security guard came and knocked over my drink. He did not acknowledge it, never apologized, and when I called over the waitress, she said«what do you want me to do about it?». I asked for the general manager of the club and he doubted my statement which made me feel even worse! I will never come back here, which makes me sad because I love this club. But I won’t be returning. Danny in Pomona is a much better manager and knows how to run a club. Stick to what you know, I guess. :(

Came here with my wife. When we went back to order the second round of drinks, I asked for a glass of ice water with my $ 24 worth of drinks. The bartender told me I can’t have a glass of ice water with my $ 24 worth of drinks. She offered me a $ 3 bottle of water. I don’t like bottled water, I like ice water, I explained this to her and she refused and said management doesn’t allow customers to have a glass with water and ice. If a customer whom is drinking alcohol wants water to chase that should be encouraged in a bar, not discouraged since staying HYDRATED is kind of important. The air conditioning is not sufficient to support the crowd. Way too hot inside on a very cool evening. Obviously the management /owner of this bar is very stupid. Perhaps greedy and stupid. Oh, and they don’t take AMEX. Really, a bar/nightclub/restaurant that doesn’t take AMEX? Unbelievable.

Great time on a Wednesday night ! Came here for some drinks with my boyfriend and stayed for the karaōke. Tried out the carne asada nachos and pulled pork sliders! Both were amazing… Nice place to chill and great ambience. Our cocktail waitress was so kind and down to earth. Karaōke was fun even though we didn’t sing on stage, highly recommend to anyone who loves karaōke and a chill atmosphere

D-bags run this place I can’t deny I love dancing to 80s music and like going to this place from time to time. But who ever the owner is, he is a fascist A-hole who needs to go F himself. 1– When people are drinking at a F-ing bar, they need water in order to hydrate. That’s what normal, educated drinkers do! They F-ing drink water while they’re getting intoxicated, you fascist, F-ing, D-bag. WTF? This A-hole charges 3 bucks for a bottle of water and will not allow people to get a F-ing glass of water, because he’s a money grubbing, Nazi-Capitalist, little Biach. Go F yourself! When I go to an F-ing bar and pay a $ 10 cover, I expect to get a glass of water when I want it. Ya Hearing me, you Nazi-capitalist, A-hole? 2– Some friends of mine were smoking pot off of the totally 80s club property one night, like right down the street. And the Capitalist-Nazi owner’s wannabe gestapo security guards came to harass them, acting like they were cops, even off the property of the Totally 80s club(I’m sorry totally 80s club, but you are not the F-ing feds)! Them smoking pot had nothing to do with anything, but they made it a point to come and harass my friends for no reason besides smoking an F-ing plant. They told my friends they were not allowed back into the club for smoking weed(Off the F-ing property? Hello?), and that they were not allowed back in to get their belongings. All for smoking a plant, which is none of their business in the first place. Of course, my friends are not stupid so they went off on the wannabe gestapo, they all got their belongings back and we all told them to go F themselves. Are we in Alabama, the deep south? WTF? People in CA. smoke F-ing pot, you morons! Jesus F-ing Christ Who are you people? Google«Theo Hirsch» Peace out

Fun place, great mix of music. My only complaint is lack of seating and tables. Very small place out of the way on a very busy street. It’s dangerous crossing the street to get to the bar. The crowd was a very mixed crowd of age and race and look. There were lots of people there tonight. The dance floor was cool and intimate but small. You need a bigger place!!!

Went there this past Saturday night and all I can say is… this place rocks!!! My friends and I decided to dress the part and I came rockin a mullet and Members only jacket, while my buddy dressed the part of Don Johnson from Miami Vice… we were a hit and had a blast!!! The crowd was awesome and Missing Persons rocked it. If you are into the 80’s thing and dig the music, you need to get down here!!!

The nice person in me wants to give this place a 3. Let me give you a pro /con list: Pro: The vibe is cool. Scene is 30+ which I dig being a 31 year old fabulous professional! There is neon paintings all over the bar and they have black lighting everywhere which gives it a totally 80’s feel. The tater tots are
The music is 80’s only and people dress up like its the 80’s. But if you are wearing jeans and a hoodie. You don’t feel shitty for wearing that too. Drinks are good! A lil on the sweet side. Service is awesome! Both at the bar and table/dinner service. Con: The kitchen was way off. We ordered the tater tots with gravy and the chicken tenders with tater tots and ice cream(we passed on the ice cream). The order came out and it looked yummy! I am in a relationship with a chef so I always look at the texture of meat when we eat out. Anyway, the chicken tenders were raw. We let our waitress know, she was super awesome, apologized and comped our whole meal. She then offered to provide a complimentary replacement plate. We then ordered the pork belly grilled cheese. When the plate came out we took one bite and the meat was super tough. Almost like beef jerky. It was like they had re heated this old meat. Pork belly should be juicy. Very disappointed. In conclusion: I would return occasionally but only order tater tots and drinks. Someone needs an intervention with the management and quality control of the kitchen. People could get sick out here.

This place had a lot of potential but they could use a better air conditioning system. It got extremely packed and very stuffy. Another issue was the sound system was really bad. The band sounded muffled and the drums were over powering. The sound guy can only do so much with a shot PA system. The food was mediocre at best. Eat before you get here. I could see this place having potential for a large group gathering but I don’t think I’ll be back.

So my good friend has been coming to this place for over a year and had been asking, pleading for me to join her. I’m not that into bars/clubs so I resisted. Being a child of the 80’s, I shouldn’t have resisted so much! I finally joined my friend and I’m SO glad I did!!! This place really outdoes itself. The décor is fantastic! Black and neon wall murals of all your favorite 1980’s artists. There are lots of tables everywhere and different sitting areas which makes it a great place for group gatherings. The lighting is super cool, there are all kinds of colors so it makes the place look great. The DJ is phenomenal! He played a fantastic mix of songs. It was like taking a trip through memory lane! The Go Go’s, B-52’s, Depeche Mode, Apollonia 6(!!!), Pat Benetar, and the list of artists goes on. Super impressed with the DJ! I had 2 redbull vodkas(my friend’s choice) and I didn’t care much for them. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and holy moly it was good! We didn’t get to see the menu but we did have a bowl of tater tots that someone bought us. Gotta give it up to a place that offers tater tots on their menu! No free water. My friend had to buy an Arrowhead bottle of water for $ 3, that is my only complaint about this place. Service was good. The bouncers/security weren’t too friendly but they weren’t rude either. Our server constantly made the rounds asking if we were ok or needed anything. They constantly cleared our table of empty glassware. Bathroom facility’s were clean and had plenty of stalls. There’s a designated smoking area outside and they’re pretty strict about staying behind the yellow line if you’re going to smoke. I really, really, like this place. It’s casual and fun The age group is mature(translation: most people appear to be in their 40’s and 50’s) which is a nice break from other club/bar scenes. I would definitely go to this place again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the 1980’s decade and culture.
