Food is pretty dang good if you tell them to make it just the way you want. However, I’m pretty boring and just go for their house chicken. The place was pretty cool but the best part was their customer service. Sad to see this location go.

I really enjoy Pick Up Stix and their chow mein and house special chicken. It hits the spot! Yes, it’s super greasy but it’s so tasty and leaves an amazing flavorful kick! Usually I do the kids meal and it’s a great portion. Yesterday I did the Titan Special with a choice of any chicken, side of rice or noodles, and 2 cream cheese wontons. It was delicious! Wish the portion was more though. My 2 complaints are that they should put the wontons in a separate bag. They leave it inside the plate and it ends up being soggy. My other complaint is that the wait was pretty long. They only had one cook, but whatever. Food was still good!

People always give Pick Up Stix a bad rap, but I’ve had nothing but good experiences at this location! Always fast, never very busy, always great service. The Titan deal is awesome and it’s all week. Sometimes the sign is turned around but they still offer it if you ask. Sign up for their email club and you get great BOGO deals and entering your phone number on their little thing every time gets you stuff too.

Pick Up Stix has always been one of my favorite places to eat since middle school. I was really disappointed when nearly all of the old Northern California locations closed down. After I moved to Southern California, I realize that there are still quite a few of them down here in the area. It was sweet nostalgia to be able to taste their house special chicken again. My only gripe about this place is it seems to always be overly crowded or busy. Not just this restaurant, but the overall area seems to be a hang out for a lot of people. If you’re one of those people that likes to go dine-in at a place that’s not too busy, where you can enjoy your food & the ambience — this isn’t it. Otherwise, the food is just as flavorful as I remember it. Still on the pricey side for a meal, but the flavor and portions make up for it. The staff is really helpful as well and accommodating!

Kung pao chicken sauce was not very good, but the chow mein was great. Was a little pricey Panda has them beat on taste and price!

Is you’re extremely hungry, don’t come here. They take a long time to make the food. But otherwise the food is great. It’s flavorful. They do tend to put a lot of sauce on it though. So if ur not a fan of extra sauce, I’m not sure u would like it. Another downside is the plaza they are located in is pack. Hard to find parking.

Chicken in my fried rice came in gigantic poorly cut chunks with the slimey skin and fat still attached. Clearly they are not putting much effort into their cooking. This is sad even by fast food standards. The bumpy«goosebump» texture of the pale lumps they try to pass off as meat looked so unappetizing I just tossed it in the garbage. Currently allowing my stomach to eat itself, because I have opted to starve rather than put said questionable matter into my body.

Mary and her staff were amazing. I highly recommend this awesome food not only for the taste but for the generous portions and positive attitude of the staff. I will recommend this location of Pick up Stix to all my friends.

Amazing house tofu so good I ate it all in one meal. It was saucy, caramelized and spicy. I got just what I asked for.

Super good. I always get the kids wok with white rice and house chicken instead of buying the lunch meals. Basically the same thing and you get a small soda too. Instead of the mandarins you can get one cream cheese wonton.

Pretty good food, inexpensive prices. If you’re a CSUF Student/Faculty/Staff you can get a meal for $ 4.99. Always have had friendly staff and well prepared food. I like it!

At first I was skeptical of this place because it was a mixture of Chinese and thai but I really enjoyed it and it’s really affordable especially for students. Customer service was excellent. They accidentally forgot an order and they made it right away for me.

Food is good, shitty service. Two of the cashiers were rude and unenthusiastic. It was not something I want to experience ever again.

Boycott this place! Went in here earlier to use the restroom and the door was locked. So when I went up to the cashier to see what was up she told me that in order to use the restroom I would have to buy something. For the longest time that policy was never put into place so now why is it? Asked the cashier that to no reply as to why all of a sudden it is enforced. That’s a newly imposed anti-homeless tactic. Discrimination at its finest here now. Also, there’s no signs stating«restrooms for customers only» like every other business posts when they do this stupid shit. Bad business relations here from who ever owns this joint! I’ll never patronize this place again and I’m gonna tell all kinds of people online and abroad from the local area that I know to do the same as well.

This place have the nicest staff! There’s this lady who was explaining all the descriptions of the food to the customer. The other one goes through the tables fast and effeciently! The price is good with the Titan Special, otherwise the price is ok. If you punch in your phone umber every time you visit you get rewards and stuff. I love how I can substitute tofu for the sauces cause I’m vegetarian. The wantons are great and everything is cooked nicely. If the owners are reading this, the cashiers should really get a bonus; they describe the food very well(I like trying new ones I haven’t eaten), they’re VERY friendly, deliver the food to the person’s table when they can, and they actually remember the names and faces! definitely going beyond the expectations. The place itself is always clean and nicely organized. They also have tablets in the side tables for kids(or kids at heart).

Cheap meal for csuf student ! If u are not a student, price is ok~ around 8 bucks $ 4.99 for side of chicken, noodle or rice and 2 creamy wonton :) love love the bourbon chicken! Creamy wonton actually quite good! Parking might suck since it’s a lot of stores here, but beside that, good deal!

Fantastic Pick up Stix: As you may know, most of them are pretty expensive. But at this one, if you are a student there is a discount lunch deal for CSUF which makes for great help for us College students. Food: Always fresh, great customer service and clean

Never again! I had to wait 30 mins for my food and when it came out… it looked like prison food lol –_– In a black container(not a lot of food), and too sulty. Anyways, the workers are nice… since they realized I was waitting for 30mins, they gave me «free entrée» coupon which I’m not going to use. I’m a pretty fair person, if the food was good I wouldn’t care about the wait time, but it wasn’t. –_– Never going back. It took too long and the food wasn’t good ATALL.

I haven’t been to a Pick Up Stix in a long time, and boy has it changed. I happened to be in the neighborhood and needed a place to eat lunch and saw this place and decided to give it a try again. First off the place is super clean and new. They have huge electronic menu boards on the walls, but you can also look at a regular paper menu as well. They have lunch specials every day, including weekends. I got the garlic chicken lunch special. It’s obviously a smaller portion, but comes with an «appetizer» with your rice and meat option. I opted for the salad. It’s the perfect small salad to go with my lunch. What I remember from Pick Up Stix long ago was that the food tended to be greasy even though it was supposed to be «fresh» chinese food. They must have had a recipe change or something because it wasn’t as greasy but it was definitely tasty.
