Myron’s Mopeds

This place is a joke. The website says the have parts for gas and electric engines. I walk in to get my rim fixed and some hardware to repair my 66cc gas engine cruiser. The guy points over to Fullerton bike shop and says «they can probably help you, we don’t do gas engines here» Wait… What? all over your website you talk about all your parts and accessories for all different kinds of mopeds and scooters. I think its time you guys update your website. Stop falsely advertising that you perform services that you really don’t. Bunch of GEEKS at this place. $ 5000 dollar electric bikes??? hahahaha go buy a real bike at that price

sean’s a great guy. i needed a few parts for an obscure non-​export motori morini franco 3M 50cc motor, and he found the parts that fit, and had a good time doing it.
it’s rare to find someone with the enthusiasm to help you out on a rare project. most «parts guys» will just look in a book and say «we don’t have it, can’t get it, so go away…»
not sean. he’s digging thru dusty boxes and actually happy to find what you need.
prices are reasonable. i mean, there is no price list for some obsolete, oddball sized piston rings, or a vintage italian oil filler plug with a vent (that he threw in for free!) so paying whatever he’s charging is fine with me. beats the heck out of some random ebay seller and a part that may or may not fit…
he’s such a nice guy i just might let him ride the bike when it’s done… :)

I recently started restoring my old moped and needed parts and this shop was the only one around. So I took the 20 minute drive and glad to say Shawn was very helpful and got me the right part in moments.
Awesome place!

Has really put a tremendous effort into teleporting virtually every inch of the shop into ‘the cloud’ and the last time I came in for a 16″ Shinko and a spark plug Shaun was exuberant at finding a couple of batches of long-​thought-​extinct parts, some of which will probably find homes across the country or further abroad — the expediency at which he ships is the next best thing to downloading your tire or gas valve. Another reviewer says it best: «There is no place, anywhere, that can help with mopeds like Myron’s» and I feel blessed to have such a legendary shop run by a legendary figure so close by. There is no place, anywhere, that can help with mopeds like Myron’s. Shaun knows his vehicles inside and out, better than any «car guy» on a «reality» TV show. Not only is he knowledgeable, he’s patient and thorough!

I love this place. I used to be all about mopeds a few years ago and would visit here each time i needed a part. If he had it great, if he didnt, he’d tell me how to get it or what i needed to do. Myrons mopeds has been around FOREVER! with all the old mopeds i’ve restored, a «Myrons mopeds» sticker with shauns number seems to be place somewhere on the bike. Trustworthy guy, great service! I just bought a new moped and had to wait until tuesday since he is closed on mondays!
I just hope someone helps him make the shop more up to date (use of website and social media) would get him more recognition (not like he needs it though)

I really enjoy going here. Great conversation and I always learn a lot. It took a while to warm up to Shawn because every time I went in there I had a list of things I wanted to buy. Here is the catch, a lot of what he has is no longer made so he wants to know for sure you’re replacing broken parts… not just replacing them for aesthetics. It literally took about 10 times of going in before he remembered by name and was quick to help.
I recommend going here if you’re having any issues with your moped… know this: Shawn is reluctant to fix anything thats not in front of him. Things like «My carburetor is like, it has this bolt, and it’s like…» don’t go over well. If you want it fixed, take it in and he’ll learn you a thing or two.

Sean is a good dood. He just installed a kickstart on my moped and did a awesome job. Very helpful.

Just because he is the only moped shop around here, he thinks he can do whatever he wants.
