Excaliber Polishing and Plating

This place is not worth dealing with. Miles is certainly not a man of his word and when confronted about his lies he back peddles and the BS flows out of his mouth like a waterfall. Don’t waist your time dealing with this fool. Not worth the time. I have better luck dealing with the tweaker down the street. By the way… his polishing is half as at best.

Bought both front and rear chromed calipers on exchange with installation for my Harley Softail. Easy to deal with Miles the shop manager. After verifying parts were in stock, made appointment for install. Fast, friendly and affordable (exchange makes it cheaper) way to upgrade. I will use Excaliber for all my chrome modifications.

I picked this place to chrome plate my brake calipers because when I initially called, the person I spoke to said that they could have the job done within a week. Believing him, I sent my calipers to be chromed. A week later, I called to check on the progress… and the person I spoke with (Miles ?) said that they haven’t even started my work because they need payment. This is were the pain begins… I told him that I had included a note with my calipers that said «call me for payment «. I also made it clear that I was on a timeline and needed the work done in a timely manner. So this person acknowledged and said the calipers would be started on ASAP and done within a week (another week). So at this point, I asked this worker (Miles) to please have the owner call me so that I could voice my frustration. One more week goes by… no call from owner or company. So I call again to find out whats going on, and the person I spoke with said my work was completed and would be shipped today! I thought «great, but I still want to speak to your boss, please have him call».
So I wait and wait like an idiot for UPS or FEdEX to show up with my stuff for four days… NOTHING… Once again I call the company and the same guy says «Oh, we actually made a mistake, your calipers aren’t done yet». So at this point, Im livid and completely outraged!!! Again I ask to speak to the boss or owner and this guys says «the owner is really hard to get a hold of, but I will leave a note». NO CALL!!! NO CALL AT ANY POINT FROM OWNER!!! I ask this guy, «when are you guys going to be done? «He replies by saying «your stuff has been shipped». So once again, I start waiting for my package and guess what? Same story, they never shipped it. So these people told me they had shipped my calipers three different times when in fact, they had not. After four weeks, they finally shipped my calipers and when I received them, I was happy with the way they looked. They weren’t perfect… there was a few blemishes, but I was afraid to said them back and have to deal with the nightmare all over again.
I personally left the owner several voicemails, and to date, he has not returned any of my calls!!! THis is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was really surprised that a company that advertises having been around for 30 years could let me down so hard. I don’t get why the boss couldn’t just call me and try and get things straightened out??? Everything I have stated is factual!!! I have not exaggerated or embellished my story at all… just the plain truth! Next time I need chrome, I will certainly know were not to go!
