Definitely won’t be going back. I don’t know if it’s all the servers or just ours, but she was kinda rude and checked on us literally 2 times. She also seemed upset that we wanted dessert and it’s not like we were being picky or obnoxious. Like I couldn’t even tell if she even wanted a tip… And this is coming from a server(so of course I still tipped even though she totally didn’t deserve it). The food was alright, too expensive. At least when you don’t want an expensive restaurant and are just looking for somewhere that’s still open.

Back here once again! Over the past year or two, service has gotten a lot better, but they’re still on the slower side. They do have a few items on their menu which are alright and the drinks are pretty much right on par just because of all this boba hype in the city of Fullerton. The only good thing about this place is probably if you want something to eat late at night on a weeknight if there’s someone in your party that’s under 21. Other than that, I probably wouldn’t come out of my way to come here. Drinks: 3⁄5 Food: 3⁄5 Service: 2.5÷5

A boba and shaved ice shop. Sort of like Tebo Tebo or guppy house. They have sit down but also to go ordering. The milk tea here is A-OK, a good place to go if you want some milk tea. I like that you can alter the sweetness of the milk tea because normal sweetness is a bit much for my liking. Nothing else to really add here, it’s just boba. A good place to come hang out in the downtown fullerton area.

Popcorn chicken is pretty good. Drinks are what it is. Service here is horrible though. Came here on a Thursday night so we all know it’s going to be a busy night at Downtown Fullerton, but by 11:30 this place had the colored lights off and for some reason the normal lights kept getting dimmed on and off. It wasnt busy anymore yet we had to flag someone down and they had to get our server who just seemed like she was wandering around. I don’t understand how it takes them so long to make drinks either when the place was emptying out. We only saw our server twice and that was when she took our order and came by to give the bill so we had to go to the front to pay since she was just nonexistent. Tip is included in the bill so don’t add extra tip. This is probably why service is so bad because they already know they are guaranteed a tip anyway.

Don’t get the calamari — it’s a very small portion for the price. Yes on the sweet potato — big portion size than the calamari. Great service, food came out faster than I expected

I don’t know what happened tonite took almost 30 minutes for someone to come and get our orders. Then brought my «meal» except that the order was wrong. I ordered a chicken avocado and got something with shrimp instead it was spicy that’s how I knew it wasn’t Mine. When the server returned he looked confused and told me that was the chicken avocado salad to which I had to say«where is the chicken and the avocado?» He finally shrugged I will get it changed… come on cha2O it’s been 1 hour and no food???

This place has awesome must-try drinks. Smoothies, teas, etc. and boba or other jellies can be added to whatever drinks. Which do not need to be seated to ordered. Drinks can be ordered at a counter to-go. The atmosphere is hip, modern, and fun. The service was fine, nothing bad happened. But, the food was not all that. I ordered some sort of stir fry… It was decent but it was dry and not very tasteful. My sister order phở and it tasted nothing like phở. She had to add A LOT of chile sauce to make it taste decent. If I ever come back here it will be for the drinks.

Decided to drop by late night on a Tuesday. Was fairly busy. It took 15 mins for a piece of toast with ice cream and a bimmer girl Boba. The drink was good. The toast was very interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was an interesting combination that was delightful. I would return to try some other desserts here.

I used to love Cha2O. I went here two times a month with a bunch of friends and I think my last visit is my final visit. I was a regular, but was never familiar with any of the staff because they were always hiring new people every time I went there. I’ve been on many first dates here, and so have my friends. I had never had a problem with this establishment until today. We, a party of five, had to wait 20 minutes for a table when there were clearly seven tables open. Three out of those seven could’ve easily seated all of us, and they were all wiped down and ready to go. The next mistake came with our orders. My drink had no boba when I had asked for some, my popcorn chicken came spicy when I requested it not to be, and most importantly, my vegetarian friend ordered a pineapple fried rice without chicken, only to discover that chunks of the meat were still in the rice. She had not eaten meat in eight years and probably broke her streak tonight. Our host did comp our friend’s fried rice, but with how horrible our experience went, I would have offered a lot more if I were him. We would have told a manager our problems, but the staff neglected to get them to us, despite our requests. It’s perfectly ok to make mistakes, because I know that the servers and staff work hard here. But this many mistakes doesn’t come from being human, it comes from a lack of organization and lack of dedication to service. As someone who works food, I can relate with the fumbles and blunders of working in a restaurant because I’m someone who drops spoons and forgets to get water for a guest, but I was extremely disappointed with Cha2O. As a guest, I felt disrespected and that the food that was being served to me to be put into my body was not being taken care of and double-checked.

This was a nice find in DTF(downtown Fullerton) that I didn’t expect to 1) find any Asian Drinks/Snacks places in this area, and 2) that this location was pretty big. It’s located right at the corner across the street from a BBQ joint and some bars which makes this brightly lit spot stand out even more. When I walked in, I was surprised to see that they not only had a pretty largely dim lighted dining area, but a really narrow to-go section as well. The wall menus in the to-go area are huge(in your face) type that you can’t miss it from any angle. There’s a hostess area in the front where you can check in to and then they’ll seat you when they can. We were seated within 10 – 15 minutes for a busy Saturday night and just hung around the waiting area before we got seated. Apparently, aside from the front entrance, there is also a back entrance as well that is a direct door from the parking lot in the back area. Serving your typical Asian snacks such as tea eggs, rice dishes, even HOTPOT!; we went with the traditional popcorn chicken and some Cajun fries. Both were pretty good and you can get them in different seasonings ranging from mild, medium to spicy. Popcorn chicken came with a sriracha type sauce, while the Cajun fries came with a dollop of ketchup already squeezed onto the plate itself(if you’re not a ketchup person; let them know ahead of time to nix it). With drink options of milk tea, smoothies, slushes and alcohol infused drinks, we ordered some pretty great ones such as Day & Night, Bimmer Girl & Pom Pom Beach that come in different sizes cups ranging from 16oz to 24oz, etc. The drinks were absolutely so tasty & I would definitely come here again just for the drinks alone! I loved that you can request to customize the drinks anyways you’d like or substitute this for that(reasonably, of course). Also, you can control the sweetness sugar level from«just a tart», «half sweet,» & «sweet.» The only gripe I probably had with the place was that service is really a bit slow. From when we sat down & got our menus, it took a while to flag down a server to get our orders down. Granted we were seated in the narrow hall near the back door entrance/exit, still; there weren’t a lot of servers walking around. When I finally flagged someone down, he informed me that he’d go get our server for us and even then, it was still a bit longer before someone walked by to the other table(so I flagged him down). If you don’t mind the service being a bit slow, but the drinks really great; then this is the place to be! TIP: There is wi-fi; just have to ask the servers for the password to access.

The drinks here are delicious :) My favorite is the Sunburnt Whiteboy and the Fruity in Da Booty Smoothie. But beware, the food here /really/disappoints. Ordered 12 chicken wings and the wings barely had any meat on them.

I’ve been ordering drinks at Cha2o ever since they only had one store in Cerritos! The Fullerton one has a clean interior and plenty of seats for people dining in. I usually just grab-and-go when I’m in the area, I want a refreshing smoothie or slush. I like Cha2o because the smoothie/slushes aren’t just artificial flavoring mixed with ice, but they add bits of fruit to the drink. They improved on the quality of their boba too — it’s chewy and actually worth the money unlike most boba shops that have hard, old-tasting boba. Their tea is refreshing too. The cashier is kind of in an awkward location when you look at the way the store is designed, but that’s not really a problem. Staff is friendly. Price is affordable, I’d rather pay a couple more cents to upgrade the size for a larger smoothie. I know there are a lot of boba/tea shops around lately, but this place has been the OG location for me!

Plenty of seats, lively atmosphere, and a ton of food/drink options which is always a plus. Our server seated us right away, however, it took them forever to bring us our water and take our orders. I had to walk up to their counter twice to ask for someone. We ended up ordering the Grilled Salmon entrée, Clay Pot Fried Rice, Sweet Potato Fries, and Buffalo Chicken Wontons. –Buffalo Chicken Wontons($ 4.99) /Sweet Potato Fries($ 3.99) Buffalo wontons came in 4(huge) pieces. Honestly, I prefer the Salmon/Cream Cheese Wontons over this one, but that’s just my personal preference. There’s a generous portion of chicken stuffed in the wontons which makes me think that this«appetizer» alone can be a meal. The Sweet Potato Fries were my personal favorite. Again, big portions. These came out hot, crispy, and topped with powered sugar: exactly how I like it. Other places tend to come out soggy, but nope! Not Cha2o. –Grilled Salmon($ 11.95) /Claypot Fried Rice($ 9.99) Cooked to perfection. Comes with mango salad and fried rice on the side. Salad was a bit too sweet/sour but worked perfectly with the salmon. I just wish there were more mango pieces in it. There’s also a lot of flavor in this one so be careful if you like your salmon plain. My friend ordered the claypot fried rice and said that it was very good. However, when I took a bit, I thought that it didn’t have enough flavor. Ask for sriracha or soy sauce to flavor it up. Overall, our drunchies meal came out to about $ 35 with leftovers. I would say that was definitely worth the money considering the amount of food we received. Havent tried any of their drinks/desserts, but I’ll have to save that for another time. Food is great, but expect a wait.

So I’ve been here twice so far. First time I got a fruity in da booty and the second time I got an oreo chocolate something smoothie(both with boba — a must!). Both were amazing and equally satisfying in different ways! When I came at night the music was very loud, I couldn’t handle it, so we got it to go. The second time I went(noonish), the music volume was much lower and I was able to enjoy my drink with some pals :) Great selection and friendly staff. Definitely worth stopping by, I know that I will be back! Choooowww ^_^

I would always see the exotic looking photos of the drinks so I had high expectations for this place. I came here with a couple of people on Saturday around 10pm. The wait was about 15 mins. The waiter was nice and came around a few times. I ordered the beef udon noodles. It had a good spice to it. The food cane out quick. The flavoring was okay. It was a little greasy for me.

Reminds me of Tebo Tebo… I feel like the menus are exactly the same. BUT nice little place tucked inside DTF. It was a full house at around 11:00PM and we waited 15 minutes for two people. Service: — Attentive service. She was patient with us as we were looking through the menu and always checked up to make sure we were doing fine Food/Drinks: Laughing Buddha — Flavorful fruit tea drink! I would be interested in trying the other types of tea, but the ingredients in this one caught my eye Fried Tofu(mild) — The mild is not mild. I typically cannot take any sort of spice and even for me it tasted like normal fried tofu. Nicely fried and the sweet and sour sauce was a nice compliment Overall: Average experience. I liked the décor and atmosphere of the restaurant. I would come back for a late night food/drink run. ALSO, parking is a struggle on the weekends because of how populated DTF gets on the weekends.

Great place to have a chat with friends and to listen to good music! Their drinks are HELLAGOOD! If you don’t like them sweet, don’t worry, cha2o will take care of it for you. They have fruity drinks with real fruits. They also have boba drinks, slushes, and smoothies. Service is good, the waiters are very attentive. I was there 20 mins earlier and got the table waiting for my friend, and there was this waiter who kept on coming asking if im ok and if i need anything, like water. That guy was super sweet. $$$: cheap drinks compared to other boba places. i would say around $ 3 – 5 per drink. I have not tried the food there yet, but I will come back to try them out, especially shaved ice or brick toast =)

I drive by this place all the time and I’m glad that I finally got the chance to try it. It’s the sister restaurant to Tebo Tebo Tea Express(from Garden Grove) and I liked their drinks. It’s similar to how they serve drinks in cool bottles-unique. It’s also a great place to get refreshing drinks and catch up with friends. I get a very hip vibe from here. I came here during the daytime for lunch, but heard it looks cooler at night(very lounge-like) with all the different colored lights. Overall, service was timely and good. Would definitely come back here again. Prices are also reasonable or comparable to other asian cafes. PARKING: Free parking in a structure behind the restaurant across from the metro link parking lot. CRIMSONPEACH: This drink was really refreshing! It comes with peach, strawberry tea, fresh strawberries & peach bits. I ordered it half sugar and it came out perfect. TROPICALTWISTER: This drink was also quite refreshing. It comes with strawberry, lychee tea, lychee bits & basil seeds. Tastes just like the drink I got from Tebo Tebo. Half sugar is perfect. HAWAIIANFRIEDRICE: I’ve always been a fan of hawaiian fried rice and enjoyed this one. It’s fried rice with chicken, shrimp, and bits of pineapple served in the pineapple shell. I added chili sauce to this and loved it. Portion size is good for 2 – 3 ppl. SINGAPOREANSTREETNOODLES: You have the option of ordering this dish with chicken, beef, pork, or seafood. I chose chicken. The chicken itself was actually really good-similar to a light teriyaki marinated chicken! The noodles are flat and slightly wide. Overall an okay dish-I’d order it again, but would never crave it. SOUP: Dishes came with a free side dish-a bowl of soup. Didn’t like it. Very clear broth that didn’t taste like much.

Smoothies? Yes Slushies? Yes Coffee drinks? Yes Shaved snow? Yes Appetizers, light snacks, full entrees and desserts? Yes, yes, yes and yes Cha20 with an extensive menu is a great place for late night dining, those eating on a budget or want to try a mixture of items without spending a lot of money. More of hipster place with dimmed lighting, neon signs and lights and music playing in the restaurant. Expect to see a crowd mostly in there early 20’s. Having tried several dishes, my favorite is the Popcorn chicken and Pineapple Fried rice. The fried banana dessert is a must. If you can’t decide which smoothie/slushie I recommend the Fruity in the bootie or a taro boba smoothie. You can add mix in’s for a small fee. Service is good. Parking is easy. Overall, its a good place to come in for drinks and good bites.
