5 stars for me is very unusual and this place did it for me. I absolutely LOVE tea so how cute of this place to have a vast variety of teas you can enjoy both hot or cold. Cute dim lighting place in the heart of downtown fullerton.

I was in the area because I had to go to Orange in the afternoon. Parking was somewhat easy to find in the structure located across the line of stores. There is a lot of space in Tranquil, which means you get to spend time doing whatever you’d like. Sadly, there’s no wifi. I got the lunch special but unlike me, read the fine print. Anything premium is a dollar extra. I got the veggie sandwich, cobb salad, and the hojicha de la crème. Individually, these three would have been more than the 13 or so dollars I racked up. I asked for sugar with the hojicha because as the waitress indicated, most of their teas are not pre-sweetened. The prices for the tea seems expensive but it comes in two glasses, which is awesome because at starbucks, you pay the same for only one cup. I liked the atmosphere of this tea lounge. It’s a great place to come to read a book or hang out with a friend.

I’m so glad this place is within walking distance of my college. The food here is amazing! I have come here enough times to know everything on the menu is good but I usually get the proscuitto sandwich or three cheese. The greens come with a light vinegary dressing which is awesome. My favorite teas are sweet almond and maui pineapple. I always ask it to be extra sweetened. The matcha float is pretty good but I also ask for extra scoop of ice cream(i have a huge sweet tooth) For dessert I will ALWAYS get the Sea Salt Caramel Lava Cake because its the best cake I’ve ever had, anywhere! Ive also had the french macarons, they’re tasty but are chewy because they’ve been in the refrigerator i think, but i am not complaining! One negative is there is limited seating which sucks because sometimes you have to sit on the couch to eat. not comfortable. Luckily I order to go and eat on campus.

Flash forward about 5 years since I first stepped into this tea place, and my love for this place has grown to the point where I even used it as a venue for a Bridal Shower! My best friend just got married last year and when I was thinking of places to look for her bridal shower this was the first place that popped into my head! This review will be about my experience with using Tranquil Tea Lounge as a venue for an event and it definitely made a good venue. Contact: They had a contact person and she was very responsive when I would email all of my questions or concerns for the event. I noticed she would even respond any time and that helped in our planning for the bridal shower On the day of, we came to decorate and since the place had such a great environment it didn’t need too much work. The staff did a great job in serving I think for a party of about 30 people. It went smooth and fairly quick, they were very on schedule, unfortunately we were not but they worked with us and made us feel not too rushed. We were even able to bring a projector and play a video, they had the space and outlet to use. Conclusion, I would definitely consider Tranquil tea lounge for future events, good space for what you need and reasonable pricing too!

Super cute café hidden in downtown fullerton. Came here around 12pm on sunday and it wasn’t too packed! We just had to wait about 10 minutes for a table of 2. Both of us got the tranquil tea trio which is a ½ sandwich, soup or salad, & a tea. I got the proscuitto sandwich and the soup of the day(minestrone) both of which were good. It’s not super filling however so if you’re a big eater it may not be enough. I also opted for the lychee black tea sweetened which was refreshing and light. The trio was 10 dollars, which is decently priced. I dont think the food was anything spectacular, just normal café type food, but I really liked the tea. I also ordered the white chocolate lavender scone and WOW. I FELLINLOVE. That definitely helped me boost my rating for this place! I probably would come back just to try more of the teas & desserts: P Also this is a good place to study! they have a huge back room for studying but they only have one room unfortunately and the place is pretty small.

If you want a light, healthy eat out or someone that’s into teas this is the place to go! It is a bit of a drive for many people but it is definitely worth the drive for sure! The food is simple yet very tasty & their array of teas are just delicious! Food I’ve tried: margherita and veggie sandwiches are quite filling(at least for me) and very yummy, the Hawaiian poke salad, pacific spring rolls, and luau tofu lettuce wraps are honestly great starters to have especially is your out with friends or on a date . They 2 specials or deals that the restaurant offers: 1. Is their Tranquil Tea Trio — where you order a half sandwich with a choice of mixed greens, Ceaser salad, or soup(salad upgrades are $ 3 extra), and a choice of tea iced or hot(premium teas are $ 1 extra) for $ 10 w/o the extra charges. 2. Tranquil Tea Morning Special(9am-11am Monday-Saturday) — where you choose a scone and a iced or hot tea for $ 5 I normally get the Tranquil Tea Trio which fills you up if you’re not a big eater! For those with a sweet tooth, I recommend the Blueberry Tea Cake — gluten-free, a tad tangy, not too sweet, comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream & just delightful; & the Sea Salt Caramel Lava Cake — gluten-free, a bit sweeter than their other desserts they have, indulgent, and honestly just Devine! My favorite is the blueberry cake for its lightness! They do have a vast array of teas, so for some insight as to what is good from what I have tried: Asian Pear, Figs ‘n Berries, Geisha’s Kiss, Silver Needle, White Peony, & their Passion Tango Mango! They don’t have sugar or honey, but rather simple syrup to sweeten up the tea a little bit! They serve you A LOT of tea, and wen I mean a lot, I mean A LOT!!! enough for about 3 servings of tea, so you will have leftovers of tea to go!

Love this establishment. They have great tea & service! Food is good too(trio seems to be popular choice — sandwich + soup or salad + choice of tea). I enjoy going over there for brunch with the gals to find some tranquility & peace!(Chatting away the woes in life~) Of course, tea soothes your restless soul & body too. Go and enjoy their great expansive selection of teas~ enjoy good conversation over a nice cup of tea or two!

This place is really small so I suggest arriving early if you want to come for lunch. I came here at noon and had to wait around 15 minutes for a table for three. It was kind of nice to have the extra time to wait though because this gave me time to go through their super extensive tea list. They have columns upon columns of teas on their menu. I finally decided on the Sea Salt Chocolate Caramel which had a blend of black tea, chocolate, caramel, butterscotch, coconut, chocolate bits, and vanilla. It smelled amazing. It tasted just as good as it smelled. I would order this tea again. I drank all of it throughout my meal, and I found that it was also the perfect amount of tea. Otherwise, it would have been a lot colder. I ordered the tranquil tea trio which lets you pick a half sandwich with mixed greens, Caesar salad, or soup, and your choice of tea for $ 10. My choice of half sandwich was the Turkey which had turkey, fontina cheese, arugula, red onions and sun dried tomato pesto on rosemary garlic bread. I also picked the mixed greens. Their other salads looked really good though. One of my friends got the cobb, and I think I will order that next time I come back here. My food was really amazing. The sandwich was very well put together with none of the components overpowering each other. There could have been a little more cheese and a little more pesto, but it was still a really great sandwich as is. Their bread was so fresh, and that really impressed me too. Overall, this is a really nice place for lunch. They also have breakfast here, so I would definitely think that the success of their lunch would probably mean that their breakfast is also good. I will probably be back to try soon.

A lovely tea lounge right in the heart of downtown Fullerton; it’s a small space but the décor and atmosphere are warm and inviting. There are two options when you walk in — either order to-go at the front or choose your seating(table or lounge area). The menu is compact, but each item is full of flavor. I especially enjoy the Tranquil Tea Trio option: a trio of a half sandwich, mixed greens or soup, and a tea of your choosing for $ 10! It’s enough food to fill you up comfortably for a great price and a good chance to taste several items on the menu that you’re eyeing but don’t want to spend a ton of money on. Other favorites on the food menu: the white chocolate lavender scone, margherita sandwich, and Hawaiian poke salad. These have been my go-tos as of lately and I enjoy the little flavor parties in my mouth from them. I love that there is an option to see and smell the teas before you order. The huge variety and extensive options keep me trying new teas each time I’m in. On my latest venture, I tried the Sea Salt Chocolate Caramel, hot with steamed milk. It was perfect for a chilly night.

This place is such a simple yet wonderful experience! Its the perfect place to catch up with a friend while enjoying some delicious tea! I ordered the Earl de la Créme and it was amazing! It was so fragrant yet stayed true to the traditional Earl Grey tea that I love so much. I love that I can get a refill for my pot and enjoy every note the tea had to offer. After chitchatting for a while we ordered the white chocolate lavender scone. I’m not a big fan of scone but this was delicious! Overall, it was a great experience and I really enjoyed the food and tea!

This is a great place to catch up with a friend over some delicious tea and treats. As the name implies, this place has a large selection of teas. So tea lovers, please check out this place! You can order to go or to dine in. If dining in, do come early as it’s less crowded. There’s also a couch area for seating and a private room(not sure how that works though). I dined in with a friend and we each ordered our own tea and our own scone. I definitely recommend the white chocolate lavender scone! Haven’t tried other foods, but definitely would love to in the future. Also, parking is also pretty easy; there’s a parking structure across the street.

I just walked in and stood there for five minutes at the front… Completely ignored by all three of the people in there. Then, I asked if I was supposed to order at the register or at the table. The guy told me «order from the table if you’re dining in.» That was it. So I sat for another five minutes or so at a table looking at the menu, with no one acknowledging me whatsoever. I saw a booth table being cleaned and asked if I could sit there. The woman replied that she had a table for three, so I went back to my table. Not a smile, or «I’ll be with you shortly.» Completely rude. And still no one addressed me so I walked out. I think that if you’re understaffed, perhaps you should still train your team to acknowledge people. Or hire some staff that aren’t socially inept. Not worth the 15 minutes of my time… I walked into Rialto next door, which is super cute and their two staff BOTH greeted me as soon as I was in the doorway.

This place is another gem in the heart of DTF! Beware, this may not be the right place for you if you’re into artificial teas. They brew some yummy stuff here and give extremely generous portions — a glass with an additional flask for you to refill as needed. The lunch specials are also pretty good deals! I tried the prosciutto sandwich.

TranQuil Tea Lounge is s cozy little tea house tucked away in Fullerton. I was pleasantly surprised by their selection of teas, the ambiance, and the attentiveness of the servers. I had a White Chocolate Lavender scone and a Southern Belle Tea… both delish! My scone was fluffy and full of Lavender. It was delicious, but it would have been even better with less Lavender. After the first few bites the taste was a bit overwhelming. The Southern Bell was fragrant green tea with light notes of rose and pear. I love that TranQuil Tea takes their tea seriously! Overall I really enjoyed my visit.

I was intrigued by the rating this tea shop got: Over twelve hundred reviews and still over four stars?! I had to check it out and came here for an afternoon tea. I am a tea lover through and through and this place exceeded all my expectations. Beautiful space, modern minimal interior design. To emphasize on the lounge part they even have a nice chill-out corner with comfy couches. Their selection of flavor is huge, lots of exotic and blended ones such as Chocolate Picante, Gunpowder, Kama Sutra just to name a few. The serving size/amount of tea leaves is good for two steepings, just ask for additional hot water once your first pot is empty(of course it’s free). Actually you don’t have to, the staff is so thoughtful and friendly, they will check with you on that. They seem to be pretty savvy with temperature and steeping time as well. They make sure you get the perfect taste and even get to your table to remove the tea leaves when it’s ready. Another plus point is you can smell all the leaves before ordering. The only downside here is no WI-FI, I can live with that as this place is to chill rather than work. I wish there were more places like this in OC.

Tranquil indeed. Their half sandwich deal isn’t bad but they don’t always have their full selection of soup from my experience. No tomato bisque when I went. Ask before you order! The tea is alright, you can get it natural or sweetened. They weren’t kidding when they say ’hint of’ you may not taste it. For the price, it’s a little up there for tea. Good atmosphere and a friendly staff.

They have sooooooo many options to choose from! I had no idea what I wanted. I really wanted oolong tea, so I ended up ordering the«ooh la la» and it was perfect! He added some sweetener, so even better! My friend ordered the matcha float and it looked delicious as well. I loved how light and fresh my tea tasted. I love how they serve their teas in a tall glass cup, and extra in a smaller jar. I’m not sure why, but it’s cute! The customer service was on point! The guy was so polite and generous towards my picky ways! No attitude or lack in his service! Would definitely come back here!

Came here to meet up with a group to try and talk while eatin’ but the smallness of the place(few tables) plus people on the waiting list made us only get drinks to go from here, rather than have a «late lunch» on Sunday at 2pm. This is hidden and blends in with everything else, so walk through DTF and you should be able to find it :) Tried the super dragon fruit green tea, sweetened. It’s not overpowered with sugar and is very light. It’s pretty good to drink, including raspberries, pomegrante, dragon fruit, and lemongrass. The lightness made me feel good about it($ 5). Watching them steep the tea was also pretty entertaining. They have a good amount of variety in their drinks, and serve sandwiches and desserts as well. They have morning specials so if you wanna get a meal here, I suggest you come then! Try other teas as well(:

Huge selection of teas… So many looked delicious that it was difficult to choose! Thankfully the person taking our order helped make recommendations based on his personal preference as well as customer favorites. The roast beef sandwich was delicious! Also loved the tomato soup. Located in downtown Fullerton so parking can be difficult to find but thankfully we found a spot pretty near the small restaurant.

Same cute place, same great service, same prices, same great menu(just tried the sweet almond green tea, LOVEDIT) … So why the review update? I ordered the same meal as usual, prosciutto sandwich with tomato basil soup, my meal seems to have shrunk by nearly half … :(
