Seriously, the best place to get coffee on campus. Ever since I tired this, I’ve stopped going to the Starbucks on campus. The difference in quality is huge, and their coffee tastes a lot better. The prices are also a lot better. The lines can be short at times, but that just depends on when you go. Overall, they’re very good at getting your drink out fast.

Pros: 1. Friendly service 2. Convenient 3. Open Early Cons 1. Overpriced 2. Average food at best More like a 2.5 but I’ll give them 3 stars to be nice. Aloha Java is conveniently located in between the Humanities and University Hall Building. They sell coffee, tea, and snacks. They are friendly and are open early which is nice if you have an early class. I like how they always greet you nicely. However, my issue with this place is that their bagels are overpriced. A single bagel without cream cheese is $ 2.50. The bagel itself is not that great, average at best. I will come here if it is early in the morning or if Starbucks is too crowded.

Aloha Java has quality coffee at a much more reasonable price than the starbucks on campus. Plus, the line is always much shorter and the service is much faster. Cheaper and faster and better, that’s all there is to it. Plus it’s a local business, not a corporation, so I feel good supporting it. The only thing I don’t like is that they use styrofoam cups. I wish they’d switch to paper.

This is hands down the best place to get coffee on Campus. Acari juice is incredible and so is the Chai Latte, i also like to get the red eye sometimes when I’m feeling crazy — you gotta try it.

If you want a break from Starbucks and their lines, AJ is a good choice! I don’t think the pricing is much different, but it’s a nice change from the big chain places.

I come here for the chai bomb, which is a chai tea with a shot of espresso. It is also amazing! I usually get it cold, but I can assume the hot version is just as good. For a small hut the service is decent. I’m pretty sure the pastries are from Costco or a warehouse store equivalent, but does that make them less delicious? Absolutely not, I would recommend the cranberry orange scone if they have it. Which is another thing about this place: they never have the same pastry options. What I’m trying to say is you should scope out the goods before getting any hopes up. So the Starbucks line is too long and it’s too early for Carls Jr? This is probably your place.

I LALALA love this place and their blended matcha green tea! I will miss this little hut once I graduate! The only reason it got four stars instead of five is because of one girl in particular who is VERY unprofessional. She is always either singing or dancing when she should be helping customers out. There have a couple of times where she has cussed really loud and sang obnoxiously while«working.» On top of that, she doesn’t say have a nice day or smile. The owner, however, is very nice and professional. Thank you.

I used to get coffee here at least twice a week in college. I miss it dearly. They make a mean blended mocha. I have found no other place that compares. So. Good.

Sometimes the coffee is good and sometimes it is not. The soy lattes are pretty bad. They don’t froth their soy and they don’t buy actual barista style soy. The drip coffee is weak. Usually the service is good however and the baristas are friendly. They used to be significantly cheaper than Starbucks but that is no longer true.

Came here on a Thursday night after a long day at school… Ordered a green tea for myself and the person giving me a ride home… The small green tea is pretty much what it costs to get a small tea at Starbucks(and at Starbucks, you can buy the large size for a few cents more)… and the small tea is so tiny! :(It was less than half the size of what you can get at Starbucks, I was so disappointed. The service here isn’t that great either. The girl at the register couldn’t even figure out how to open the cash register. There were three girls working and they don’t even make eye contact. The last time I was here, I ordered two hot chocolates, they misheard my order and only gave me one… the guy was nice enough to give me a second one on the house, but he didn’t look too happy about it. The service at Starbucks is totally better. I practically live at Starbucks on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and even though there’s a huge line almost all the time, I get my tea faster and they’re a lot friendlier.

Aloha java is a quick stop coffee shop with good quality coffee. A medium cup is usually about $ 2.50 and a large about $ 3.00. If there is a line it goes by quick. :)

*located on CSUF campus* Shortest review ever!!! I figured they deserve a review. Not much to say, coffees, teas, bagels. They do have this Acai juice which is pretty good if you want something healthy. They are cheap and pretty jiffy!!! Starbucks take for EVER! !!! Short review. Minimum $ 3 for credit card. Thanks for reading. ~*kenzie*~

I’m very glad I have this place a try at school. I got tired of starbucks’ quality of drinks and their ridiculously long wait time and wanted to try something different so I tried Aloha java’s chat bomb and dawn, it’s good. I’m a huge sicker for chat and their chat bomb which is essentially a dirty chat tastes oh so rich almost like hot chocolate. Their house coffee tasted burnt and bitter the one and only time I tried it kind of threw me off but it’s okay. The workers are nice and are always at work. Drinks come out in under 2 min. Overall it’s way better quality drinks and a lot less wait time. I will be a regular here.

Aloha Java is awesome if you want good coffee without paying so much for it. We have two Starbucks on campus, but this is definitely my go-to place. The hut can take care of your need for caffeine with ease — and a TON less sugar than Starbucks. I also love that tt is significantly less crowded than its competitors. Although there can occasionally be a long line, but the wait time is nothing in comparison to the two Starbucks on campus — which are CSUF’s version of a Disneyland queue. In addition, the staff is always super nice, and they get the job done fast, Not to mention their drinks are really yummy, which also helps. Definitely grab a cup of joe, and a breakfast item if you need to. Everything is awesome.

The cheapest place to get a blended drink but quality is slightly lacking. I ordred a blended chocolate chai and they got everything right except the blended part so they handed me a cold drink with ice cubes. I always order blended drinks but they usually only put a little bit of ice in it. Still delicious though.

If you don’t want to wait in line for over priced coffee at Starbucks, go to Aloha Java. My favorite is the Mocha Java and the Chai bomb. Damn good. And it’s fast… Very fast

It is conveniently located next to the humanities building. several visits and never a problem! Its reasonable as far as pricing goes so i think ill try to get something new every time i visit. Everything that i have tasted is great and fresh. Even when theres a line I will wait because they got the line down to a science. It moves real quick and a short wait time on the opposite side of where you order. I have tried several of the hot teas, cold iced teas, and flavored coffees.

The coffee isn’t starbucks amazing, but for $ 1 you can bring your own mug and fill it up! Can’t complain for a $ 1.

You want your coffee hot, Aloha Java offers the freshest, most piping hot coffee on campus! Centrally located on the campus of California State University, Fullerton between the Humanities building and University Hall, this tiny café hut is open for business during the summer months and intercession, making them a popular spot for faculty and staff. Aloha Java is the only campus eatery where you can get a toasted bagel with cream cheese. In addition to bagels, they have a good variety of croissants and breakfast muffins. Their beverage menu includes the standard selection of lattés, frappés, teas and Italian sodas one would expect to find at larger indoor seating cafés. Service is fast, efficient and friendly. Note: there is no longer a $ 0.75 surcharge for using your debit or credit card for purchases under $ 3. Open Mon-Thurs: 6:30am to 7pm, Fri: 6:30am to 1pm.

Located on the CSUF campus, Aloha Java is this little drive by cart type of coffee shop — similar to a mobile home. The shop itself has wheels. That being said they make some delicious chai ice blends. Very creamy, reminds me of the vanilla chai offered at gypsy den in Santa Ana The small is $ 3.75 for around a 16 oz. Totally worth it! I really enjoyed my drink.
