Have you ever bought vegetables and put them in your fridge only to have forgotten about them for a couple weeks so you start noticing the smell and once you find the source, you pull out the soggy bag and it’s leaking with«vegetable juice» and smells like a dirty diaper? Well that’s kind of what I experienced at this Taco Cabana’s drive-thru when I asked for some cilantro with my to-go order. They also neglected to give us any utensils to eat with but I guess I should’ve checked the bag before we left. My boyfriend had to turn around and go back because we were going to be on the road for a while. I used to work in a to-go bakery so I know the pain of making sure condiments are fresh when preparing orders which is why I’m writing this review. We were also the only people in the drive-thru. If it had been busy I would have understood the mistake of forgetting the utensils but it wasn’t and that’s why I can only give this location 3 stars. Sorry.

Such a love, hate for all the restaurants in this area. I think it’s location thing. I come here mainly for the breakfast burrito combo. Potato egg and cheese, add bacon. Off the heezy. But somehow… someway…my order usually comes out slightly off. No cheese. No potato. Tacos instead of burritos. Given, this place is busy… but it’s all these small things that add up to frustration. But is this food good? Hell yea. Even with the small mistakes, I still enjoy my meal. And this is why they still get 3 stars. I’m not disgruntled. I’m…a disappointed parent. You could have done better if you applied yourself Cabana. You’ll get em next time.

Mmmmmmm. Their breakfast tacos are amazing! The chicken fajita taco plate is also wonderful. They currently have an avocado salsa that is so good. Definitely a must try. Their flour tortillas are always hot and fresh. The only reason it didn’t get a 5 rating was because the chorizo breakfast tacos aren’t so wonderful. Those are the only ones, though. There are even egg-free options for breakfast.

It was«okay»…I got the enchilada meal and it tasted good, but it came with two greasy tortillas slopped together with nothing but a bunch of ground beef. At the end I just had a plate full of chili ground beef… it also came with a puny serving of bland rice and beans and a whimpy guac salad…

The only thing I usually come to Taco Cabana for are the Chorizo and Egg tacos. But, since that last time I was here(over a year), someone has converted my favorite breakfast item to «Egg and Chorizo» tacos. There is not enough Chorizo in this taco to fill a thimble. So, I have to ask, «¿Dónde está el chorizo?»

I love stopping at Taco Cabana for the flauta combo. It’s a great deal for lunch for quick and affordable food. The flautas are fresh and crisp and the salsa bar is super. Taco Cabana prepares all of their food in house and it shows.

Food was good, staff was very friendly. It was mostly clean, although the salsa bar and restrooms could have used some attention. I have eaten here several times and never had any problems.

Without a doubt, Taco Cabana is the freshest fast-food mexican you can have. The salsa bar is the bomb and the fajita tacos are awesome, with fresh-made tortillas. The service at this location is excellent, and the restaurant is clean and your food is delivered to your table quickly and courteously. Oh, and did I mention the fresh salsa bar? I could live off that alone!

If there was a zero star, this place would get it! I ordered the steak street tacos and what I got was a few pieces of dry steak and some lettuce. It was the worst street tacos I have ever eaten in my life! The the lime slices that came on the side was all dried up and when I sneezed it, dust could’ve come out. Yes, it was that bad! My husband ordered the chicken enchiladas and when he went to take a bite, it had NO chicken in the tortilla! It was rolled up tortilla with some cheese and sauce on top! I will never go back or even recommend this place to anyone. Not even a homeless person! Ugh!!!

Taco Cabana now makes you pay for tortilla chips! They have always offered them for free in the past. I ordered a 3 enchilada plate and a drink… nearly $ 10 and they want me to pay for tortilla chips. This is not a sit down restaurant and is not the same quality as one.

I love the breakfast tacos. Simple but good. 2 tacos are just the right amount. I like the bacon egg, chorizo and eggs, and my new favorite is the brisket and egg. And don’t forget the salsa bar it goes good on the tacos. I have had the breakfast meals also. But when I’m in a hurry I do the tacos. This is my first visit to this location. The place was not busy at 9am. The dining room was pretty clean needed a little straighten up. The service was not great the manager just walk away from me when I came in. And then another lady came out and took my order. But she did not have any customer service training. But when the manager has no customer service training that is what you get. Over all just go for the food.

We used to go eat here all the time. Heck my son even worked there a couple of years ago. It was never the best customer service, but now it is so bad it is unbelievable! We love the food and the margaritas sitting on the patio, but just can’t past the horrible service. Today we decided to stop through the drive through for 1 regular taco and 1 burrito. When we pulled in my husband mentioned how bad he hates the drive through, but I convinced him to go anyways. I mean how bad could it be for that small order??? OMG it was the worst service I have ever received in a drive through.

We used to go here a lot when I lived in a downtown loft. There’s really not too much in the way of fast and easy in the area, outside of the Sonic on Weatherford. We regularly frequented this place. That is, until my husband and I got the worst food poisoning of our young lives here. How can a chicken taquito make you sick? In my naïveté, I just assumed if you deep fry anything, you kill the cooties. After our sickness(which lasted 3 – 4 days and almost got me in trouble at work), we changed a few things: 1. We never, ever go to this location. 2. We made for damn sure our next apartment had two bathrooms. No more fighting over the toilet. Thanks for the life lessons, Taco Cabana off Beach. Now go f**** yourself. There’s a Crystal’s across the street. Help yourself.

This place sucks. They couldn’t get an order right if you wrote it in Spanish because they probably can’t read either. Really tired of second rate service that has been deemed acceptable lately. Get somebody who understands customer service AND can carry on a conversation in English. By the way, corporate at Taco Cabana also does NOT understand customer service.

I am usually not disappointed here. The price is ok and the service is fast. Sometimes the order has been wrong when I have done a take out but they have tried to make it right when I call. I just came back from there and had the two taco special with a drink and chips, OMG the tacos were great.
