South North Garden

When we saw only one car parked at the restaurant, we figured that it was because it was Christmas shopping Saturday and we were eating early (6:00 pm). After eating there, it may have been the food.
I ordered a daily special of sweet and sour chicken and Kung pao chicken, hubby got sweet and sour pork and Mongolian beef. It took over 20 minutes to get our meal. Remember, there was only one other couple seated. When it arrived, the food wasn’t even warm. Cold rice? C’mon. We sent it back, waited another 10 minutes, and the temperature of the food hadn’t changed. The sweet and sour pork didn’t taste fresh, but the Kung pao chicken was good, albeit lukewarm.
Not much to choose from in Fruita, but South North Garden isn’t a place I’ll revisit.

Stop by on the way to Nebraska. The restaurant from the outside doesn’t
look that attractive, but the inside was nice and clean had very friendly staff and the best was the food. We had hot &sour soup which was very delicious and the shrimp lo mein was excellent. We plan to stop by on our way home.
