Great service! We’re regulars and they always remember our preferences. Queso and chips are awesome too.

Food was great & despite the bad reviews, our service was excellent! Margaritas were great & only $ 6.25. Definitely get the shrimp & mushrooms in garlic white wine sauce!

The food is ok but not great. The servers are rude. Actually had one roll his eyes at us after my husband said he had asked for no sour cream on his entrée. The server rolled his eyes and said«Just scoop it off.» The only time the wait staff was actually polite to us is when one of our friends had come in and secretly paid for our meal. Then the server was falling all over himself asking if we wanted more food, drinks, dessert.

The food is delicious. Not authentic, but delicious. Margaritas are nice and strong as well. My only complaint was the service. I have dined twice and both times had servers that were inattentive and on the verge of rude. The service alone has convinced me to never eat here again. El tapatio is just as good.

Walked in and was instantly rushed to a table. Moments later our server returned to ask if we were ready to order. He asked 2 more times before we were actually ready. It was empty so we didn’t understand the rush. There was a horrible smell in the air, like the sewer was off gassing. We didn’t notice till after we had ordered but it got stronger. As we debated leaving our food hit the table. It had been at most, 5 mins. We had combos. Various tacos burritos and cheese enchiladas. The cheese in the enchiladas was not melted at all. The burrito was cold and the tacos were soggy and fell apart. Worst microwaved food I have ever had. Sent it back. Will never go back.

We used to love going here… the Margaritas were powerful and brought us back… then something changed… the servers rush through the room and rush you to decide and the food flys to the table and you are pushed through your dinner like it is McDonalds. The Margaritas lost the booze and actually tasted so bad we had to send them back! And this happened on a second visit too! Originally the chips were light and airy with just the right amount of salt. now old orange and tuff. The flavor is gone from all dishes. We are Fruita residents and are disappointed to not have a local Mexican restaurant to enjoy!

nope. I see 15 reviews about authentic mexican food, but not my cup of tea — at all. 4 people, for dishes on friday night and plenty of left overs we didnt need to box up. tacos al carbon soaked in a tomato sauce, fiesta platter tasteless, super burrito soaked in? and not even sure what the 4th dish supposed to be… not even frozen margarita helped

Authintic Mexican food, the people who work their are very nice. the Unilocal map has the wrong location, it is actually in Fruita east of the City Market on Highway 6&50.

Am used to excellent Mexican food in Detroit. This place was recommended by a local and it didn’t disappoint. We had a party of eight and everyone was happy. I had the super burrito with shredded beef chased by a Negra Modelo. Highly recommended. I second the local.

The food here is really good. The chips and salsa are better here than at the other Fiesta guadalajara locations. The guacamole was brown. The location is pretty ghetto(elm tree junk heaven). They lost a star because the wall in the booth was filthy… Not stained just had a bunch grime and goop that would easily come off with a wash rag. I don’t know why cleanliness is so elusive in the restaurant industry. Anyway, I would come back and enjoy it, just details!

I ate at Fiesta Guadalajara about 2 years ago while traveling through Fruita to get to a vacation destination. This place has the best Mexican food I have ever had(and that is an understatement). I had the carne asada and it was the best carne asada I have ever had. I still talk about this place and it has been 2 years. I seriously would consider driving the 8 hours from California just to have dinner. That sounds insane I am sure, but that should give you an idea how EXCELLENT this place is. I had to post this review because I was just telling someone how I have never found a place that compares to Fiesta Guadalajara. If you live close by(or if you will be passing through the area) please give this place a try! Try the carne asada!

Stopped in for lunch on the way back from Moab. It’s about a block away from the bandstand circle in the center of town. Very nice selection of standard Mexican fare. Inexpensive lunch combo’s.($ 8 or less?) and good chips/salsa. They served a bowl of a sort of mexican cole-slaw which was delicious too. Peppery, vinegary yum. The chile relleno was the«chile in an omelette» type(not my fave) but the sauce(green chile) over the top was very tasty. The taco was typical and good. Not greasy. In a place without a lot of options, this is one I’d choose again. They have a full bar and I suspect it gets loud and rowdy some evenings, just guessing.

I’ve been here both with my fiancé’s family while visiting and with my mom while driving from Salt Lake to Denver. Both times, the food was excellent. I love the chips and salsa. I’ve had the tamales, enchiladas, and tacos, and liked all of them. On my last visit, they happily substituted a chicken enchilada with mole sauce for the regular cheese enchilada in the combo, and didn’t even charge extra. Service is fast and friendly. Yummy Mexican food with good service will always rate«Yay! I’m a fan.»

Fruita is not the biggest town and restaurant options were limited. Abby W. and I took a chance on this place since we were starving after visiting the Colorado National Monument. First off, happy hour is $ 2.50 for a 23 ounce draft microbrew. Yessir. I wish some restaurants and bars around here had such an impressive deal. The beer was delicious, perfect temp for the scorching hiking we just finished. Chips and salsa were complimentary and tasty. I ordered a chicken chimichanga. It wasn’t the greatest chimi I’ve ever encountered but it was pretty solid and hit the spot. Guacamole here is great. Service was super prompt and the food came out almost immediately. I’m talking like 3 minutes after we ordered, piping hot. If you’re heading west after visiting the monument, I’d go here. We were on our way to Moab and didn’t want to head back to Grand Junction for lunch. Westbound, Fiesta Guadalajara in Fruita is an excellent choice.

It’s sort of hard to get to if you’re not from the area(Highway 6 and 50… WTF does that mean??) but it is TOTALLY worth it! Salsa is fabulous! Taco Salad is just what you would expect. The service was outstanding and they were SO flexible with my order. The beer specials during happy hour(from like 12−2pm or something) kick major ass.

Salsa is amazing. Best I have had. So much I cloned it at home. Service can be shady sometimes but the food is good and good priced.

While driving through town on our way to UT, we decided to do a little MTB riding here. Afterwards, the smell of this place caught us by surprise as we drove by. We made the stop along with our little 8 month old son and found this place to be very good. The food was well prepared, authentic and fresh! The service was outstanding too. Whenever we are rolling through town, we will surely come back here.

Fiesta Guadalajara is great authentic Mexican food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you aren’t careful you will fill up on chips and salsa before the meal arrives. Meals are huge and tasty. Margs are outstanding. Beer is very cold. One of Fruita’s better places to eat.

This place had tremendous Mexican food. very authentic in a GOOD way, large portions, great wait staff and the owners came out to make sure you were happy. The atmosphere was cool with adobe walls surrounding the tables and a couple of different rooms. We went for an early dinner and it was just packed there! The Margarita’s were some of the best I’ve ever had! A winner for sure

This find was because we took a wrong way turn back to our hotel and ended up on Highway 6. It turned out to be a good wrong turn. We were hungry and we didn’t hold out much hope for this area. This place was the only one that looked busy for lunch so we knew we had a winner. They had great margaritas and they even forgot to charge me for mine. BONUS!
