01/13/2016 also purchased a sofa from this company 2 years ago. When I began noticing the finish wearing off, I reached out and was told that this is normal and was offered to replace for a substantial fee, despite having a 5 year warranty. Not acceptable. I recently reached out again with 25 before and after pictures. I will await the outcome in order to determine how I ultimately rate, and will withhold posting pictures or negative thoughts, until I receive feedback regarding whether they’ll stand by the warranty and do the right thing. Hoping for a positive outcome and not the intervention of legal assistance. I’ll provide update when a resolve is offered. UPDATE:Update…I spoke with salesman regarding my issue and submitted 18 photos of before and now. The response was, «…ypu have a special type of leather and what you are experiencing is normal. Business Owner 1÷18÷2016 Many natural leathers will fade normally when exposed to bright light and this 3 year old sofa is one that has done so beautifully. The picture on the left shows a cushion that has been turned around to reveal a back panel that has not been exposed to light. When placed correctly with the cushion front forward, the sofa looks very nice overall. No leather companies have warranties against the fading effect of natural leathers over time because it is normal and highly dependent on individual environments. Not a 3 year old sofa. And, to set the record straight, the fading began 6 months after purchase, thus is it safe to say that should a consumer purchase a red sofa from you, it’ll surely be orange within a year? BUYERBEWARE! As well, I’m willing to test your theory in small claims, should the BBB be unable to persuade you to do the right thing(stand behind your warranty) for the right reason. Furthermore, fading and aging are 2 different things. I’ve had leather furniture and leather coats, neither of which faded, despite having been exposed to the elements, so come again Mitch? I will also upload more pictures showing areas that suggest the dye on this sofa was sprayed on. It’s funny how you are so quick to post a response in an open forum, but are unwilling to return phone calls regarding complaints. And, given that you seem to be interested in the complaints waged against your company on Unilocal,why don’t you correct the issues, as you obviously realize that posts such as these can perpetually erode your reputation in the eyes of potential consumers. Regardless of the outcome, reviews such as those you’ve received, coupled with the way in which you defensively respond, rather than proactively resolve, enables consumers to make a conscientious decision as to whether purchasing from your stores are worth the risk. I recently purchased a custom white leather sofa and have been very satisfied with the comfort and quality. Aside from the sofa, their customer service was outstanding. I first went in the Frisco store to see what they had to offer and met one of their sales associates, Marc. Though I had no intention of buying that day and as a younger customer, I was still taken seriously and treated with respect. I returned weeks later to purchase. I received the couch about 5 weeks later which was within their 4 – 6 weeks estimate.

Horrible customer service!!! The arrogant salesman ask us if we had been in a leather sofa store before. My husband replied no. He states that their leather is real unlike in furniture stores and that they make all orders in house. We walk around the store. I sat in a recliner. Felt both the inside & outside for button to recline. When I attempted to recline by manually pushing back. The pretentious prick states«You are going to break my chair!» I stated«Who are you talking too!?!» I immediately got up and left his special leather store. As I was exiting his palace I said«You need to learn some customer service». I got in my convertible Porshe and closed the top as the other salesman walked out of the store and looked in awe!!! Can not wait to here from Corporate office about FRISCO Leather Sofa Customer service.

Excellent customer service! Got to pick the style, the leather and the buttons. Made to order just for me. Cant tell you how great the couch is, it still looks brand new after 3 – 4 years. I can add more pieces and it will look just as good because mine still looks like it did the day I bought it.

This company makes great couches as long as you don’t have any plans on sitting on them. Silly me, I thought when I paid over $ 6,700 for a custom leather couch that I could actually use it. Not so, as soon as you start sitting on it the color will immediatly begin wearing off. To make you feel better about your your purchase they will completely ingnore your complaint and blame it on something that you did. Understand before you buy that their warranty does not cover the finish.
