Terry’s Donuts

I came here to get a treat for my daughter’s class for her birthday. I ordered it online and it was ready the next morning. The staff was very friendly and the kids ate up all the donuts! The birthday donuts were a hit!

The Happy Birthday donuts were a hit at my kids’ party! Such a nice change from cupcakes and so cute! Super easy to order online & make specifications. Will do this again!

So both my kids and I are saying this about the the best donut shop ever. They loved their donuts. The ladies were so friendly, and loved that they’ll fill them right in front of you. How fun is that! And the crowning jewel in my opinion is their cronuts. Amazing. We’ll be back!!!

I recently bought HAPPY BIRTHDAY donuts for my son’s birthday. For $ 17, we got all the letters, plus 2 cute heart-​shaped donuts. I picked them up at 6am on Sunday morning because we had to leave early for a tournament. The donuts were hot and fresh and my half-​asleep son opened the box with a smile on his face and shoved a warm donut in his dry-​drooled mouth. I don’t normally like donuts and even I couldn’t resist the warm heart-​shaped ones. They were good. Another birthday success thanks to Terry’s donuts!

The only place I know that has the Happy Birthday donuts. For $ 15, you can order your very own personalized birthday donuts for a special someone. As for their donuts, it’s not as stale but soft and tasty.

Worth going to, if for nothing else but the birthday donuts! I ordered the happy birthday donuts for my husband’s birthday and they were wonderful. They even allowed me to customize 2 of the donuts with raspberry filling (my husband’s favorite). I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because I had one thing I was not happy about. I was scheduled to pick up the donuts at 10 that morning well when I arrived they had them on a table with the lid open I’m assuming to display them but I was upset. They were busy people were walking all around it to look at it children kept trying to touch them while in the mean time they were behind the counter taking orders. They weren’t watching them. Some kid could have sneezed on them or anything. So that made me unhappy. So I would maybe tell them not o set yours out. I really have no idea how they thought that was a good idea but whatever. They are really nice, their donuts and other breakfast items are really good too. Overall I liked them. And I will be returning.

So ever since we used them for our kid’s birthday party, we’ve been back every week. No joke. Don’t judge, but I typically get a jalapeño sausage roll and a white cream-​filled chocolate donut (they fill in front of you) and devour it all in minutes because it’s SO GOOD.
But today I noticed the cronuts and I ordered one on a whim.
OMG CRONUT!!! Seriously, this is one of the top 5 most delicious breakfast things I’ve ever had in my life. Go to Terry’s and get a cronut. GO! NOW! Thank me later.

Yes and thank you. Why would you buy donuts from a chain. This place is awesome. Service is great and the donuts are the best. Every person came and said hello, the selection of donuts is great and the staff is wonderful.

Best Donut Shop in Plano. Very flavorful cream fillings. Good lunch sandwiches as well. Always fresh.

To start off, my brother and I came into this donut shop not expecting much… We were completely surprised! This is literally the best mom-​and-​pop donut shop we have ever been to! Donuts are amazing and the women at the counter are so nice! I LOVE how they actually fill our donuts with delicious cream or jelly right there. My brother and I have come here every Saturday for the past few months. :)

Bang for your buck sucks here. Stopped in after reading some Unilocaler reviews and was disappointed.
Got a raspberry jelly filled donut — very cool that they fill them to order but NOT COOL that they barely filled it. Seriously? If I wanted a plain glazed donut, I would have ordered one. Geez lady, put some jelly in there, especially if you’re gonna charge over a dollar for it.
Cream filled long john, same problem.
So although the lady was very nice and the place is clean (and parking is sparse as mentioned by others), I wouldn’t come back here. Donuts are not created equally and this place isn’t anything special.

SImple donute shop in the morning… good glazed donuts; the sandwiches at lunch are very basic. sliced bread /​meat …nothing too fancy… parking sucks tho too many handicap spaces in front…(not their fault but still)

Friendly staff– great selection and stay open until noon! Was so glad I barely made it but everything was still out so this was great instead of everything being put away! It’s our neighborhood favorite!

This is a great mom and pop shop! Get this… if you order a jelly filled donut… THEY FILL IT RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! How cool is that?! BUT Terry’s isn’t a one trick pony they also have really great sandwiches! They open early and stay open late so you can get a donut fix anytime of the day OR grab lunch!
