Signature Nail Salon

I wanted to try nexgen, and this salon was very close to my apartment. I absolutely loved my nails! However, after about a week 2 of my nails just fell off. I walked in, and the staff was so kind. They stated someone had forgotten to put the base coat on my nails, and so they didn’t stay on. She fixed my nails for free. Although there was a mess up on my nails, I gave them 5 stars for how good my nails look and the customer service. They could have easily charged me to fix my nails, but they were so polite and helpful! I strongly recommend them!

I absolutely love this place! I always come here to get my nails done, and they always do a fabulous job. They are always kind and gentle. I would highly recommend them. I never have to wait if I walk in, and it is extremely clean. The prices are lower than most places, and great service.

Not sure who is writing all these great reviews because I had a terrible experience here. On the upside, yes, Cindy is very sweet and nice and is easy to communicate with. On the other hand, neither my nor my daughter’s nail tech spoke enough English to get our requests met effectively. After initially thinking I wanted a higher end pedi, I pointed to the menu to tell my tech I wanted the $ 27 basic pedicure. Somehow, there was a miscommunication and she gave me the $ 45 deluxe pedicure, which I of course paid for. My daughter wanted the 3D panda which appears in the photo here on Unilocal and is hanging on the wall in the salon. It took 3 techs and another customer help them understand that request. Unfortunately, it was not available. Cindy provided another option that was nice and turned out cute.
Worst of all, half-​way through my manicure, after having the manicure soak bowl spilled on me, I noticed my nail tech had some kind of nail issue that looks suspiciously like a nail fungus… she was using her unhealthy nail to dig the polish out of the sides of my nails. When I realized what was happening, I told Cindy who promptly took the polish off my nails and let me wash with hot soapy water. She offered to redo my nails, but I could not wait to get out of this place. Unfortunately, I paid over $ 100 for 2 manis and 2 pedis for the holiday and left with my nails not done and now I hope I don’t catch a fungal infection. Interestingly, Cindy would not check the nail tech in question while I was there, because the tech was busy with another client. One thing I am glad about… this cemented the fact that I will never, ever go to a cheap, low-​end nail place in a strip mall again — or maybe any nail place at all. This was that bad of an experience.

Thomas does perfect NexGen nails and Danny gives the best foot massage! Kim does beautiful nails, too. Love this place.

I had time to kill on a random afternoon and walked in to a very friendly and clean nail salon. I get my nails done about once a year and have had maybe 5 manis/​pedis done at a salon ever. I’m a DIY type of person, plus I’m cheap, so I do my own since I’m Vietnamese and it’s a life skill we are just born with. However these techs are legit pros and know how to do a job well done. My nails are so pretty now and my skin is so soft. I want this feeling forever, but I’m too cheap. However, this salon is super affordable and not pushy at all! It’s always irritating when they try to upsell you on services and add-​ons, but they didn’t do that here. A basic mani is $ 17! What? I asked about NexGen nails, and it’s $ 35 and lasts about 3 weeks. Almost sold me on it but I’m lazy about my nails and can’t commit to it.
They are very friendly here and all speak pretty decent English. I told my techs I was Viet so that they would be aware I could understand their gossip. To my surprise I didn’t hear any rude comments by any one here. It was just normal banter. They had a pretty steady flow of patrons and regulars coming and going. Very loyal clientele and now I know why. Good job guys!

I’ve been to so many nail salons but this spot is my favorite. Cindy is amazing and I love getting my nails done by her! All the staff is amazing actually. I like to have my nails done as much as possible and I’m never disappointed by this place, they make me feel at home and my nails always look so good! Love love love it here

This is hands down the best nail place in Frisco and beyond the area truth be told. Cindy and her staff are always so sweet and friendly and flexible. Prices are really good in comparison to other nail salons in the area, and they stand behind their work. I have sent several of my friends and family here over the years. I absolutely love Thomas! He is gentle, patient, and responsive. I am SUPER picky (think OCD) about my nails, and they are always perfect with him. He’s also been up for some creative challenges that I sometimes like to throw at him as well as giving honest feedback about which colors will work for you. Plus, he does my nails thin (no one else can seem to do that well), AND they still last for 2.5 to 3 weeks even though my nails grow very quickly and I have oily, rounded nail beds. With other places they always lift and are prone to breaking. So all in all, the BEST around town!

I have lived in Frisco for almost eight years now. When I first moved to Frisco I went to Signature Nails for a few years and then my regular nail tech left so I left. I went to another nail salon for several years. Then they made some management changes and at that point I decided to give Signature Nails another try.
I couldn’t be happier! they are very professional to me and always get me, by appointment, when I want to get in. They do a great job with my nails and I haven’t had any problems with them, that is my nails.
I am a fan for now.

So sorry to say that the salon is changing hands and names. I was there this week and the best nail tech ever («Two») is no longer there. Some guy did my pedicure and it was okay at best. When Two was there she took first rate care of me, the guy was not so dedicated. It wasn’t terrible, but it was a long way from being memorable. If anyone finds out where Two went please post!

Finally found a great nail salon. All the girls are nice and the place looks clean and not super gaudy. Got the simple 25 $ pedicure from thu pronounced «two» and i felt like i got a higher end pedi. She massaged well, the products they used was great and they had mostly opi polishes to choose from. It felt like a family environment running the place. I have a found a keeper out of the thousands of nail salons in dallas!

I got a shellac manicure done yesterday by Mary, she was awesome! The staff is all very nice and the services I got were pretty good. My only complaint is that the girl who waxed my eyebrows before I left (who was not the same girl who did my nails) was finishing up someone’s pedicure when she came to wax me, and she didn’t wash her hands! Someone else’s feet to my face??? Gross! I am a licensed cosmetologist, so I know all of the procedures, and they are really very basic, WASH your hands. Before and after every client and every time you touch something unsanitary like FEET. Needles to say, I will never get waxed here again, but I will most likely return to see if Mary’s pedicures are as good as her manicures… She on the other hand was fantastic all the way threw, she asked my name when I came in, and remembered it, she made great conversation with me and not once did she talk to a coworker while doing my nails. That’s a bonus! She successfully did my manicure without cutting me and used all sanitary tools which are individually wrapped…(and for the salons I’ve been to around here, that’s an accomplishment) and my nails look great.

Just got a Lavender Pedicure done on my lunch break. I don’t usually get my nails done too often anymore, but I’ve got a formal even coming up and needed a little beautifying for the footsies. Great service and very clean. The young gentleman in the front was very helpful in picking out the right polish, and the techs were all very informative about the different products I can apply on my nails (they all spoke English very well).
Overall, great experience!
