The best breakfast tacos in town. They make a red and green salsa that will knock your socks off. Not to mention the have homemade flour tortillas. Chorizo egg and bean tacos are amazing. Don’t buy donuts when you can have the best breakfast tacos in town.

Food: gorditas, burritos with flower tortillas… the menu changes daily with a constant or two. They had the option of bistek and pork; I tried them both. Each Gordita came with onion and cilantro inside alongside the meat. $ 5 price for both. Red and green sauce provided. Flavor was okay… onions overpowered. Gordita shell has some chew to it. These are small… maybe a little too small for the price point, jury is still out. Service & Atmosphere: fast and friendly. Minutes to get the order. They have a few seats/tables in the back of the gas station for dining in, but I opted to grab mine to-go. I won’t run back, but don’t let that deter you, without expectation, give them a whirl.

Full disclosure I am a Mexican food snob as I lived In Los Angeles for 20 years and haven’t quite embraced the texmex version but after 8 years here I may have found my new favorite«Mexican Food» place that is making me forget CA :) I used to visit this place when it was called something else and thought the food was pretty good but once I tried Rudy’s cooking I truly forgot the name of the old place! Rudy and his wife are extremely friendly and always ask if everything is great and ask how they could make things better! The menu is small but what they offer is always delicious, the breakfast tacos or burritos are very delicious and sometimes they offer some new things I have never had(birria and something with cactus in it that was very delicous) but when in doubt Rudy is like here try some and gives a sample, he is that confident you will like it and he is usually right :) I am waiting on tamales to be added to the menu of which they say are coming soon and as it is Wednesday I am going to head over for some albondigas soup, meatball soup for us gringos :) The food is always fresh and what I like most is Rudy starts cooking when I order my food, no heaters or warming racks, fresh! I have no doubt Rudy will have a full menu restaurant 1 day but until then I am happy to enjoy his great food as he perfects all of his dishes for the future! If in Frisco or nearby you owe it to yourself to give it a try!

We saw this place was reviewed highly so we decided to try it out. Great decision! We loved both the beef gorditas and bean and chorizo gorditas. Really, really good. Highly recommend either of those! Try this place out, you’ll like it.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The first time I walked in, I was looking for Menudo. I got there about 3 pm and due to some renovations, they didn’t have time to make it that weekend(they had also shut down the kitchen for the day). They did, however, send me home with some chicharones tacos. They were FANTASTIC! The next weekend, I came back, and sure enough, the Menudo was hot and ready. It was wonderful! Truly authentic and it’s been the closest thing I can find in Frisco, to what my grandmother would make. Their gorditas and tacos are amazing too. The bean and chorizo is my favorite. I haven’t tried their tamales yet, but I have no doubt they’ll be wonderful. Aside from the amazing food, the service is a big part of why I gave such a high rating. They are so incredibly friendly and are really focused on their customers. I visit this place almost every weekend. It’s become a staple in my house. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food. One more thing worth mentioning, their kitchen is one of the cleanest kitchens I’ve ever seen in a restaurant.

Came looking for Lulu’s, found that it was Rudy’s Kitchen. They had gorditas and a pork plate for lunch. Went with the pork plate. The pork was tender and the sauce was a spicy red sauce. Charro beans and rice. All for about 8 bucks. It was all very good. The red sauce was spicy but not too hot for me. I will be back for more.

It sure would be nice to, you know, actually see pictures of the food and menu rather than endless pictures of people and the interior. If the owner is reading this, he should understand many people won’t try his place without actually seeing the food and knowing what it sells.
