I would love to able to review this company but they never showed up. I had a confirmation email and quote, but on moving day when they didn’t show up I called and The guy said he had to check with his manager about our move. No one called back and after that I just got voicemail when I called. We were left stranded on our moving day. I hope they go out of business because a real business does not treat a customer like this. Pretty messed up.

I am glad to hear that others had a better experience than I did because my service was horrible. The general manager, as he called himself, was as rude as can be and had every excuse in the world why it took them from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. to move from one two bedroom apartment to another. Considering it was a move from Frisco to Rockwall, time was definitely taken into account but, there is still no way it should’ve taken that long. Everything was ready to move when they arrived so, all they needed to do was move things as their job title states. As a business owner myself I was initially reluctant to write this review as I know how important it is to a businesses future but, the level of service had to be accounted for. As a result of the movers showing up with the wrong size truck, a U-Haul truck, it took that much longer to load. We were not aware of the fact that they had a smaller truck until the last second when we were told that everything could not fit and that it would require an additional trip. The movers even had the audacity to ask us to load our big screen flat televisions into our cars to help them out. What’s the point of paying movers if we have to move ourselves. The resulting second trip back to Frisco required more gas and toll fees on our behalf which the company did not care too much about, while it was their fault that an additional trip was required. Upon arriving in our new home we noticed that there was a hole in our leather black couch about the size of a small grapefruit along with multiple, very noticeable scratches that can not be repaired. Our $ 2,000 dresser was also ruined, while it can be fixed that is besides the point. A lamp was completely broken beyond repair. There were other small things damaged as well but, the absolute most disappointing thing of all was to find out that everything they could not fit in the truck was left in the hallway of our old apartment and the movers failed to tell us that they had did so. When I asked the movers about the damages done to my dresser especially, one of the guys actually told on his two coworkers in saying that they must have been the ones to damage it because he was aware that the damage was not there before. Our washer and dryers were not hooked up at our new place and when I asked the general manager why it had not been done he replied by being a smart ass with me and telling me that«we are not installers». As a final note, again, we are business owners ourselves, in the service industry, and not only was the service poor but, the workers were very rude and immature. Even our Directv installer, who was present at the time mentioned how rude they were, which is just not acceptable in the service industry. I wish no ill will or misfortune on Platinum moving company in the future but, I feel it is essentially a public service to alert the public on such bad business practices. Beware people and if you value your time like I do, which is why I looked to hire movers, spend the extra money with a more reputable company.
