I have been going to Dr Morgan since I was a kid, over 15 years. He is always in a great mood and always very professional. I’ve had cavities filled there, wisdom teeth removed, and many teeth cleanings. Always impressed with the staff that works there.

Dr. Morgan is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to. After moving to Frisco from Lubbock, I was in desperate need for a dentist due to a crown falling out, and, on top of everything else, a throbbing toothache. Dr. Morgan not only met me at his office during his free time for a numbing shot, but also worked with my dentist in Lubbock to keep the cost down for replacing the crown. His bedside manner is unmatched and his customer service goes above and beyond. Having a toothache can ruin a day, a week or a weekend. Dr. Morgan, however, will do whatever it takes to make you feel better. I’ve seen several dentists, oral surgeons and endodontists in my life… Dr. Morgan is head and shoulders above the rest… Customer service at it’s absolute best, from one West Texas Boy to another!

I feel sorry for dentists. Nobody likes to visit their dentist. Seems like they always have bad news. I’ve had the pleasure of some great dentists that are skilled and honest and I’ve had a couple that had new equipment they needed to justify owning by running every patient through whether it makes sense or not. Charlie Morgan falls in the category of the shady car salesman dentist. Yes he has a nice office very modern. But all the new toys are paid for one way or another. I have no problem paying for what I need and even paying a premium for excellence. That is not what I found with Dr. Morgan. I had a questionable root canal done that required 2 visits to get the root(not uncommon with upper molars). But when he thought he had done the job he actually did a little fist pump and acted like it was his first. He finished up and set crown on the 3 visit. I have pretty good dental insurance that covers quite a bit plus my flex account for medical and dental. Well that must have been quite tempting to him as he found several other issues that needed immediate attention. I asked to make sure it was covered by my insurance and it was according to his office manager. Before I could schedule another appointment he pulled the same thing on my wife and we decided to for for a second oppinion. Oops that aggressive treatment plan was not reccommended by the next dentist. About a month after the root canal I had extreme pain that felt like all my teeth were going to fall out. I was sent to an endontist by my new dentist because he felt that was the best course of action. Turns out I had a problem with good olé Charlie’s fist pumping root canal. The Dr said not to blame him as they are quite difficult at times and most dentists don’t have the proper equipment for the troublesome teeth. After the Dr. opened my canal she was shocked to find out he used a material in my canal that is not to be used for that purpose. After a quick call to Dr. morgan to verify that he used this material she returned and confirmed my fears. She was concerned that she might not be able to save my tooth because of his short cut to hide the fact he couldn’t get the nerve out. He knew he didn’t get the root but tried to cover his shoddy work. Thank god she is truly a skilled Dentist and saved my tooth. About 2 years later I get calls from my insurance company about 4000.00 worth of work that was completed and was not going to be covered. I called Dr. Morgan to see what the heck was going on. I always paid upfront. His account person basiclly told me I was a dead beat non paying customer and needed to pay the additional 3000.00 on top of the insurance claim. Problem is I never had the work done only a quote and it was for far less. Seems the insurance company paid some of it and declined much of it. If my insurance company hadn’t contatced me I would never have known he was taking money for work never done. His office was unwilling to help straighten it out so I informed my insurance company and they were only too happy to get him to straighten the account. I call that fraud. Now years later I was comparing notes with friends about the good and bad dentists and one person tells me they have all our horror stories topped. Guess who the dentist is? Yep Dr. Morgan again and a very similar story with the insurance scam. I had to come to Unilocal and share this even though it is years later. I wish we had Unilocal 10 years ago to warn innocent patients looking for an honest and skilled dentist. Shame on Charlie Morgan for giving hard working honest professionals a bad name.

This dentist is great. He was recommended to me by my sister, a nurse, who knows who’s good and who’s not in Dallas(not just Frisco). The office is uniquely modern. Widescreen TVs for both demonstrations and entertaining(I watched the presidential inauguration on Fox News as my teeth were being cleaned). In the lobby is a coffee machine with a dozen different coffee selections. Also a refrigerator with cold drinks. I’ve never been to a professional group with anything approaching the amenities and details of Dr. Morgan. Dr. Charlie Morgan himself is very personable. Young, probably in his mid-40’s. He’s professional and well-spoken. His staff was first rate, too. I’ve been to about 5 dentists my entire life, and I’m glad I found a great dentist and group like Dr. Morgan’s. PS: I always have painful teeth cleanings. Not on my first time at Dr. Morgan’s. No pain, yea. PSS: This was cool: during my examination by Dr. Morgan he had a pen-sized video camera and took me on a tour around my mouth. Couldn’t argue when he told me about a developing cavity :/
