My 8 years old got an extra tooth between his upper front teeth. It was not an easy one since it was growing upside down and was very close to his permanent teeth and roots. He was really scared of the extraction procedure (and me either). Dr. Ornstein was the third doctor that we have visited for consultation. After talking with first two my son was crying and was scared much more, after visiting Dr. Ornstein’s office he was laughing and relaxed. And she explained me very well and clear what was going on, what could be the reason and what were our options. The surgery went awesome and fast. All the stuff was professional and friendly. The general anesthesia went smoothly. Also need to mention that not all dentists accept health insurances for general anasthesia. However sometimes it is impossible not to have it especially with younger kids who would not allow doctors to do things… And Dr. Ornstein does and that saved us approximately $ 800.
Overall I was really happy to meet Dr. Orstein and I am very thankful to her and all her staff. I highly recommend Dr. Ornstein! If my family members or I will need an oral surgeon — I would come there again for sure.

The entire procedure (including office visits) could not have gone better. I had 2 wisdom teeth extracted and all I remember is looking at a couple of ducks swimming in the pond then they said to stand up because I was done. I didn’t even feel them put the I.V. in my hand. Dr. Ornstein was very courteous, professional and most of all a great oral surgeon. My wife and daughter also had Dr. Ornstein take their wisdom teeth out and they both had excellent experiences there. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ornstein and all of the staff I came in contact with.

Made an appointment over a month ago for my daughter to have her wisdom teeth looked at. My daughter went to the appointment with her grandma who is her guardian while she is visiting her grandmother for the summer, and this was all explained when I made the appointment. When I made the appointment over the phone, I offered to email/​fax a letter allowing my mother to bring her to the appointment since I live in another state and could not fly to attend the consultation. When they arrive for the appointment, they were not greeted and were given mean stares. The office manager tells them that the appointment was at 1:15pm, which it was not, it was at 1:45pm. They arrived at 1:30pm. Perhaps they changed the appointment but I clearly wrote it down when making the appointment (see attached — I had to white-​out personal information). They also said she could not be seen without a parent or guardian there. Okay, I though we went over this when I booked the appointment, so I called the office. I spoke to the office manager that was very defensive and rude. She said I could fax a parental consent but I was on my way to work with no access to a fax or email at the time. After my mom and daughter were treated unfair and rude, I just declined and told the office manager that we would just find another doctor. The office manager then said okay and hung up. No apology, no thank you, just hung up. What a great way to do business, we will not be back and I also informed my Dentist in Texas, who referred us to Dr. Ornstein of our terrible experience, so hopefully they will not refer anyone else to the office to be mistreated.

When deciding to see an oral surgeon you want to make sure you choose wisely and I did. Dr. Ornstein is patient and kind and her work is of the highest quality. She cares about her patients. Her office staff is genuine and always helpful. Making an appointment is easy and she offers 2 locations so no matter where you are in the metroplex she is accessible. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Ornstein and her staff. If you are looking for an oral surgeon she is number one on my list.

Dr. Ornstein is simply the best at what she and her staff represents. I highly recommend her practice as a 5***** rating for consultation, surgery and she as a genuinely fine person!!! Mike B. 08÷05÷12
