Best food we ate all week. Would highly recommend this place. Service was outstanding. Pizza, pasta, and brisket was all great!

Great food, service and atmosphere. We had the prime/French dip and it was outstanding. The sprouts and cauliflower app was really good. We also had the ribs/pulled pork/brisket sampler and it was also good. We went back the next day for apres ski, and it was very spirited and fun. Highly recommended.

Amazing slope side food. They smoke all their meat in house, so I HIGHLY recommend the pulled pork or beef brisket sandwiches. The green chili is also fantastic. Goes above and beyond any other slope side food I’ve had in a while. Quality taste and a very well stocked bar.

We eat at JJ’s every year when we come here and I continue to be disappointed with their hours… close at 9pm on weekends??? Especially when this is the only place in East village. Food is great, staff is excellent and I would give 4 star if it weren’t for the hours.

We’ve been coming to Copper Mountain for years and have never eaten here before. I was very surprised with the great meal and super reasonable prices. Had a BBQ brisket sandwich that was Great and my wife had a beef tenderloin sandwich with Gorgonzola that was really good. With 2 Bloody Mary, and an up barge for a salad was less than $ 50. Would totally come back.

Okay, so first of all JJs has adequate and overpriced food which is characteristic of a Colorado ski resort. Don’t expect anything special! Service can go any way, some of the servers are great but the problem I had was with the manager. He treated me and my friends with disrespect. He ripped us off and made up some lame excuse as to where the money went. Overall I would not recommend JJs to anyone staying in Copper, but instead try Endo’s.

Summer visit. Lunch of BBQ Brisket Sandwich. Came with bbq beans and coleslaw, but asked for their homemade chips. Very good meal, but cost $ 14. Very pricey for what you get. Sat right by the windows looking at the mountain and golf course. Beautiful view. We love to visit Copper during the summer.

Great food. Just okay service. Very casual attire. The bread and butter that they first bring out is very good. Brown sugar and honey butter. Entrees: crab crushed salmon was very tasty Beef tenderloin was a little too spicy. Bbq beef brisket sandwich was very good but the bun was a little too burnt. Tomahawk pork was also very good. The tomato bisque soup tastes like marinara sauce, not good. The Cesar salad was watery. Reasonably priced. We would recommend going here if you want to stay local at copper mountain.

As ski resorts go, the food is pretty good. The entrees are pretty pricey: $ 12-$ 20ish but you get a lot of food… too much in my opinion. I usually get the smoked pork green chile. It’s delish, only $ 7 and a proper amount of food. Also, check for beer specials, they usually have a $ 3 draft. Service is hit and miss, but hey, it’s a ski resort so that’s not uncommon.

I don’t know what it is… ordered Tomahawk Pork chops(x2) and they brought poboys sandwiches, each chop was ordered medium(2 each) and all 4 came out different from rare to well done also had Cesar’s salad and wrong dressing but took 10min plus reminder«wheres the dressing?» Avalanche Pizza was more like frozen pizza, dry/bland/cold the drumstick were good though

Came in for a fresh beer and a bowl of chili. Green pepper chili with pulled pork was very tasty. Coos light was skunked but that was fixed quickly.

Food was average, decent for bar food but certainly nothing more memorable than your run-of-the-mill Friday’s or Chili’s. The thing that makes this the lowest possible level of «One», that just scrapes in above zero was the service. We were seated promptly, there was no wait or line at the door. Once our party of 5 was seated, our waiter brought water took our drink and appetizer order(uninspired calamari, served without marinara). He wanted us to order everything at that time. I told him to bring the drinks and appetizer and that we would decide from there. At this point he threatened to move us to the bar if we didn’t order dinner. Seriously, I told this dim wit that we would decide after he brought the drinks and appitizer, clearly he wanted to rush us through and turn the table. Fast forward to the ordering of more food… We tried to order salad next, he then threatened to charge us more for the salad if we didn’t complete our dinner order at the same time. As if he couldn’t adjust the bill if we did order dinner. As per his objective of turning the table, he then brought our food less than two minutes after delivering our salads. Yep, stacked us up and tried to hurry us out. Sure sign of an awful server. Other(potentially petty) things, when the person orders a plain burger with just the bun, burger, and cheese. Don’t respond by saying that the garnishes(lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion) will be on the side. Just take them off the frisking plate before you bring it out. This would be the hallmark of someone who actually wanted to provide good service instead of just turning tables in the game of tip roulette. This was the worst service I have received in a very long while. Set your expectations to cafeteria if you dare to go to this average food, god awful service establishment.

This was my second time to eat at JJ’s. The first time(2012) ended with food poisoning, so I was a little hesitant, but after some amazing tubing this place was having a Sunday blood mary and screwdriver special, so my group stopped in. Although it was super crowded, the hostesses were great and promised a table in 20 minutes… and delivered. While we waited, we hung out at the bar, and sampled the amazing spicy bloodies(very yummy with spicy tomato juice made in house). The beer selection is limited, so we stuck to cocktails. Once we were seated, we snacked on a flat bread and a pizza – the pear flatbread was fine(a little over-dressed with balsamic reduction), but the pizza was very good(crispy, and tons of toppings). The food that other patrons got also looked good, especially the onion rings, so next time I am in Copper, I am going to stop by and try this place again, especially since there were no ill effects from this visit in 2014. The service was great, even though they were super busy. With delicious Sunday Funday drink specials and being so close to the slopes, this place is alright, especially for a quick drink and a small bite.

Great service. I had the burger and the wife a BBQ platter and both were delicious. Chocolate lava cake for desert was amazing. Prices are worth it for the quality.

The beers were super cold. The bartender was friendly enough. The waffle fries were even decent. The view is absolutely beautiful. The majority of the staff(mostly the females) had bad attitudes like they were burnt out. It’s a ski resort so of course the prices are high so I expect better service to justify your 20% tip on my $ 20 nachos. Stick to the drinks here when they’re on special.

Terrible selection of appetizers and small plates… and everything is so overpriced! There was a woman walking around(I guess a manager) and kept talking to us about how wonderful the food was and bragging that they«make their own guacamole in house»(well I sure hope so!) We wanted a snack(but not a whole meal) and so we ordered the nachos.(For $ 14??) They arrived in a mammoth heap– which somewhat explained the lofty pricetag– but they were just pretty gross. The smoked shredded pork was COLD– ugh! And the«queso» was just… not.(and definitely came from a can!) Come on, Copper Mountain, better step up your food! I’d stick to just getting drinks here. They had a toasted caramel whiskey and cider special which was great(hence the second star I added to my rating).

The bar is fine. The beer selection is fine. The crowd is douchy. I mean, fine. Ugh, here’s an annoyance — WHY do managers at bars like this have their live banks CRANKEDUP? Most people in here would prefer talking to each other, not yelling over the music. But, the service was fine, and — like I said — the beer selection is, too. It’s also very close to the tubing hill, so you can get your reservation in and then hang out over a microbrew before you hit the slope.

Yikes! Can you say food poisoning? They hype smoked meats, but the evening after eating a smoked brisket sandwich during JJs happy hour($ 3) resulted in a painful night for my bro-in-law…The prices are good for a resort-owned bar and restaurant with a generous serving of onion rings($ 3) at happy hour. The guitar and singing by Joe Nixon are reminiscent of Jimmy Buffet and the staff is efficient, but I would recommend only the daily $ 3 drink special and skip the food!
