Food was OK but service was HORRIBLE. This is one of the dirtiest restaurants I have been too. Crazy part is they were not busy at all, no reason for the employees to simply step over the piles of trash on the floor.

Only giving it 1 stars because the food had potential. If it was at least room temperature warm and not as cold as the restaurant was. Had to get our own utensils and ask for refills. Our order was completely messed up and I even got walnut pancakes instead of original. And I’m allergic to nuts.

Echoing the worst managed location we’ve been to. Packed waiting room with standing room only and no less than 10 empty tables at any given time. I thought the first time we experienced this was a fluke but the fact is this is an extremely understaffed location. Service is always slow but the waitresses we’ve had were friendly. No one working here seems to care at all. Can’t say I blame them, this industry is rough on the best days, having to deal with an entitled and disrespectful public. Still, there are better locations than this by far.

I am so disgusted with the food I was served. I should have left when my shoes stuck to the floor. I waited 45 minutes to be served turkey. So hard I couldn’t cut into it. I don’t want to give it 1 star. Stay away. Really need to get a manager here that cares.

Try to avoid the sticky tables at every IHOP on the planet but I was desperate to eat after sitting with my home loan officer initial three frikkin hour probe of my life. An alien abduction would have been more preferable. So only a few people here at 9:30 on. Thursday night. The spinach and mushroom omelette is usually real good. I came to this location once before right after EdgeFest this year and it was good. I never order dinner-y food at an IHOP for fear of botulin or some food related death. My arms are stuck to the table writing the review so I know I’m at IHOP. Food came out fast and omelette is a good 3 star, bacon ice cold but what the hell its still bacon and fruit is not bad. Looks like I will live to eat another meal after this. My service was exceptional to my surprise.

I like IHOP. I really do. But this is the WORST managed IHOP I have ever seen. One of the severs is very good. The rest seem overworked and not well trained. The food is ok but they don’t have enough people working g here. Really sad because I’m in this area all the time. Fire the managers and retrain and motivate the staff please.

What can I say… beh all around. Came for dinner, didn’t have great expectations and I guess I wasn’t disappointed? Tried the new double dipped French toast(a little to sweet, poor texture), the pancakes was ok… not anywhere near the best you’ve had but also by no means the worst. Hash browns was decent. Service was poor, even when the place wasn’t busy(ie 4 tables in the whole place) service was appallingly slow and lacking. I’m not sure what to say other than at least it is open 24 hours a day. Wouldn’t necessarily come back unless there really wasn’t any other option. I left no longer hungry, but not satisfied either.

So, up until today it had been about 8 years since I had eaten at iHop. Not because I don’t love iHop(because seriously who doesn’t love it) but mainly because I’m not in my early 20’s anymore looking for a late night snack to soak up the booze. This morning, my husband, daughter and myself decided to venture out to the iHop in Frisco at Main and the tollway, and I have to say I was very impressed. We arrived at about 12:30 pm and the place was packed. I am unfortunately on crutches right now but 2 staff members stopped what they were doing when they saw me and opened the doors for me as I was coming in. We only waited for about 10 minutes and were seated in Nadine’s section. She was prompt in welcoming us to the restaurant and didn’t bat an eye when my husband asked for a carafe of Dr. Pepper(yes that happened and yes he drank it all). The food was hot and delicious and the service was fantastic. I had a Colorado omelette which was cooked to perfection(but huge because hey, this is America and we love food) and the rest of my family enjoyed their orders as well. If you happen to visit this location I highly recommend Nadine as a server. She was awesome and we will definitely be back soon.

This IHOP gets 5 stars on the horrible service scale. HORRIBLE. Do NOT go here! I walked in to find 2 other parties who had been waiting over 20 minutes to be seated in an almost empty restaurant! My first attempt to help was to make eye contact with every waitress– apparently that wasn’t the problem because they all saw us and no one cared. Step 2 was to find the manager. That was easy because he was in the kitchen yelling for the cooks to get off their cell phones. He came out, I asked him if we could be seated and he actually got angry at me!!! Anyway, I was too tired to leave so finally he seated us… in a booth that wasn’t in any waitresses section. So then we got to sit there for 20 min while waitresses walked by like we didn’t exist. Finally I snagged 2 walking by and asked if we could have service. In reply, one sighed heavily and said«I guess I will do it». And proceeded to get my order wrong.

Worst service I’ve had in a long time. First they«forget» to make an order of food, then our waitress is rushing us out of the restaurant. We stood waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to give us to-go boxes and we had to keep asking for refills on drinks. Won’t be going to this location any longer.

Went on National Pancake Day after the breakfast crowd. Service and wait was satisfactory considering they were giving free pancakes away to everyone. Please remember that it is supported by the Shrine ’ Hospital for Children. tips and donations mostly go for that great cause. So today I was blessed with free pancakes that gave me a good feeling in my stomach and the donation likewise in my heart.

They never answer their phone. Three separate times, three different locations. Just want to know their wait time. Wow.

NOT the place to go on a Friday night, just picked Roomate up from airport and he needed to be fed prior to going home for the night, place is filled with obnoxious teenagers with no regard for other people with their yelling and screaming and you can’t get a server to save your life, and when you finally do get served, they are very nonapologetic and matter of fact as they rush you through your order. Hope not to have a reason to come back.

Chorizo Omelet, not happy new item, sauce is disgusting, not sure what chorizo this is but pretty bad also, last time I order this. Bad experience this time. I don’t recommend this plate

This place used to be good but has gone downhill. Which is very sad because everyone knows IHOP and know what to expect as far as menu goes, all they need to do is execute the menu and take care of their customers but they cannot even do that. I rated so low because it was not the first time. We came in on a Friday for dinner, only 1 person on the floor. Waited to be seated and then never saw anyone after that. 25 mins later, i looked around saw a full house with only a few tables that had drinks, the rest were still waiting. So we got up and left and no one even noticed. Sad. Better get a new manager to run Friday dinner time. There are way too many options in Frisco now so no need to go here anymore.

This IHOP is hit or miss. Sometimes we have a fantastic experience with an attentive server and great food, and other times it is any mix of those things, such as a great server but cold food, or slow service but great food, etc. As far as IHOPS go, this location is newer and the restaurant is very clean inside so it’s a good choice in that regard. I keep going back for Sunday morning breakfast with my kids. I have not found a sweet spot on what is the best time to show up for consistently good service yet. If I do, I will update my review. Or maybe not ;)

The only reason we ate at this location today is because the IHOP on Preston and 121 was closed for renovation. At any rate we had written off this particular restaurant because in the past six months both food and service have gone downhill in a hurry. Even when not overly busy food takes much longer than your usual breakfast place so I’m guessing the kitchen is under-staffed and over-worked. Today my French toast was burnt on the outside and uncooked on the inside. It was sent back and I asked for pancakes as a replacement knowing better than to try that dish again. The time before when we ate there my eggs over medium came out eggs ice cold. They went back too. Each time I was almost done with the rest of the meal by the time the repacements arrived. Today a manager actually stopped by and asked how everything was. When we told her she took my meal off of the bill. The time before there wasn’t a manager on the scene as far as I’m aware. Servers appear to be all high school kids who are friendly and polite but glaringly under trained and ill prepared to deal with problems when they arise. Even though I changed my order today to a less expensive combo the server didn’t know to change the cost. We were going to just«eat» the extra expense to get out of there before the manager appeared and took care of the bill. The appearance of the inside of the restaurant here has also become increasingly dirty since the first of the year. This time we had to wait for a booth to be cleaned off because just about every booth and table was dirty. The floor was a mess and there did not seem to be anyone bussing tables although there seemed to be enough servers wandering back by the kitchen area. The time before on our visit we noticed how very dirty the entry way was. The floor was filthy and there was actually tracks of mud all the way from the doors into the dining room. It stil hadn’t been attended to when we left. Today the entry was also univiting although we didn’t have any mud lumps to walk around. Hopefully the IHOP on 121 and Preston will open again soon. I owe them a good review after this and now really appreciate the quality of food preparation and the experienced servers there.
