Frisco Heritage Museum

One of the best museums in TX. It has it all. And the special exhibits are always top notch. A great day out with the family or just on your own. A must for any visit to TX.

Nice small sized museum. Make sure you visit the out buildings.

I went today with a group of youngsters, and we had a nice time. Yes, the place is pretty small, but it’s only a couple of bucks to get in. Don’t expect to spend hours at this museum. The exhibits they do have are pretty neat, especially if you are a resident of Frisco. If you aren’t, you’ll probably be bored because it won’t matter to you. It’s central theme is definitely the railroad, so that’s a huge part of it. The employees are super knowledgeable and were awesome at presenting the towns history to the youngsters in a fascinating way. I probs won’t be back. it’s definitely a see it once type of place, but I’m glad to got to check it out.

In my honest opinon, I dont think you should have to pay for something that small. It just underwent some renovations and we went through it within 10 min. It did have some nice features.

This is small, but interesting. The kids found the «old» television and video games/​toys interesting. It was an hour or so of looking. I wish the train museum would get built faster, but I know the money is an issue.

Interesting place to visit. Historic artifacts and replicas on both floors. Worth the $ 4 if wanting to discover something new in the area.

Great for kids, lots of Frisco-​specific history! Every third Sunday of each month, the buildings are open with history buffs in each one who know all about the area. Great for kids and families!

Its okay. Not much to see or do. The website promises a train museum that is not there yet.
