I had one of the best burgers ever here a few nights ago. It was cooked perfectly and had a great, if long, list of toppings – chiles, avocado, cheese, bacon. Id highly recommend it But the bartender, Dawn, stole the show. She really knew her stuff and had come up with some great cocktails. I wouldnt hesitate to go back

I don’t give many five stars. We have eaten here three times and the food and service has been from good to excellent. Relaxed high class setting in a convenient location. Favorites are short rib, salmon, and the chicken. Scallops are good not great.

What a gem! We were a little concerned with some of the negative reviews, but were planning to pay this place a visit regardless. While unassuming from the outside, the interior décor is romantic and elegant. We were seated immediately by the hostess, who once we got to the section, became confused as to where to put us. She explained to us she was new and pulled another staff aside to confirm. While the situation was unprofessional, the hostess herself handled it professionally. Our waiter promptly came to ask if we had any questions and to explain the drink specials, as all as include the price of the items(kudos for doing that). We chose the Acai Berry Lemonade, which was a lovely cocktail –strong and with just the right tartness at the end of you squeeze in the lemon they placed on the side. We ordered the Lamb Rib for our appetizer, and it was the worst item we tasted last night. Unless they change it up, I do not recommend it. The waffle on the bottom is so misplaced– it loses its crispness from the moisture of the lamb on top, and simply makes the entire dish taste discordant. The sauce for the lamb tasted too one dimensional. The lamb itself, however, was good very well. Im a seafood hound and my Seafood Linguine was delicious. The mussels were surprisingly probably one of the freshest, moistest mussels I’ve ever had. The scallops were seared perfectly, and the shrimp, while not large, we’re not a hint overdone. I only had one grain of sand from the mussels, which is completely forgivable. Please do yourself a favor and order this dish! My boyfriend ordered the Basin Meatloaf, which he said lived up to what he expected after reading the reviews. A man in a gray suit, which I’m assuming is the owner, visited us at our seat, and once again out the door. Our waiter, and waiters for other tables from what we eavesdropped on, was very knowledgable about the menu. If you are in the village, you owe it to yourself to give this place a try.

We heard great things about CB from other guests staying at our Condo community so we gave it a try on our last night at Copper. Such a great way to end our Vacation… With a top shelf meal. We started with the roasted pepper and artichoke dip served with fresh vegetables and bread… so yummy. Next was the Bridge Salad… the presentation was as fabulous as its taste. My entrée was the Black Angus Tenderloin. Our server Christina did and outstanding job and she was so intent on the temperature of my filet being perfect as I like a warm pink center… The chef nailed it. We were too full for dessert but I’m sure it would have been delicious as well. It is a pricey place but what else would you expect for high quality food, exceptional service at a top rated ski resort. Can’t wait to come back next year. Copper is a great Mountain with great restaurants like CB’s!!!

We came here for a Valentines Dinner while my whole family was on a trip. Its kind of a little hidden gem tucked away in this little mountain town! We had a party of 12(with 4 children) and they accommodated us perfectly. Our waiter was great, and checked on us frequently. We ordered some Crispy Crab & Avocado Rolls(oh my gosh, yum), along with the calamari which was good too. My entrée was a steak(I think it was a tenderloin), and it had a blue cheese butter on it, with green beans and mushrooms. It was so wonderful. Cooked perfectly and the flavor was great. I also tried a bite of my husbands bison meat loaf and it was SO good. Everybody was really impressed with that as well. This is a definite«go-to» for a great bite in Copper Mountain!

This place is at the center of Copper Mountain and was pretty quite when we walked in early on a Thursday night. We were greeted and immediately sat. It was early, we had jet lag and ferocious appetites. I must say; I felt like we had a team at our disposal. They were skilled and precise and never missed a beat. The night was young and they were eager to put their skills to work — highlighting the specials, swapping out wine glasses and popping bottles like a choreographed dance. We perused the wine menu as our calamari appetizer arrived(and disappeared quickly there after). Fried to perfection with sliced banana peppers and a sweet horseradish cocktail sauce, they were just what we needed. We ordered three entrees, scallops, duck and seafood pasta in a sherry lobster sauce. They were,(slightly on the salty side so ask for less if your intolerant, but none the less) decadent. The portions were well suited for the venue. Most of the patrons came in ravenous after skiing and left empty plates. We finished our meal off with a crème brûlée, perfectly crisp and delicious in every way. If your looking for a quality dinning experience in Copper Mtn. and wonderfully hearty mountain food(sans pretension) this is a wonderful spot!

We dined on Feb 1 with a party of 3. We ate at the bar around 630pm — as they were somewhat busy with the trade show going on at the resort. Comment number 1 — while the waitress Dawn was attentive and nice — she quickly became overwhelmed with the rush from the restaurant. CB Grille definitely needs another bartender for that type of rush — or maybe they don’t talk to the resort to know how to properly staff during an resort event being held on a Monday. After an hour went by — she then informed us apologetically — she forgot to put our food order in — and thus — we had to wait another 40 minutes for food. Sigh. Comment number 2 — don’t sit at the bar on the end near the front door! We had parties coming the entire time we were there to order drinks — constantly leaning over us or standing on our side to get bartender attention — coughing on our food — and even being confrontational with us when we politely asked them to back off. Lesson learned at this place. Comment number 3 — We ordered bison meatloaf and grilled tenderloin shoulder steak medium well. While the bison meatloaf was excellent the tenderloin steak was rare — probably due to the fact they forgot to put our order in — and when they did — kitchen did a rush job. We did not send back — as we had been there for 1 hour and 40 minutes and were famished. In any event — they comped us 1 round of drinks which was fine — but they certainly need to do something to alleviate the chaos that occurs behind the bar during a busy time. I would say go somewhere else for a good restaurant — but you are pretty much held captive at Copper for fine dining.

Excellent service and extremely delicious, high quality food. Only complaint is that my daughter’s entrée’ came out much later than everyone elses. Walking distance from our condo at Copper Mountain resort. Went with our two children our first night in town, and went back without kids on our 4th, and last night there.

We ate at CB Grille for my husband’s birthday dinner. There were 9 of us and the staff was wonderful! Our server got our drink order in quickly and just as quickly, he took our food order. I ordered the striped bass and it was delicious! It came with what looked to be mushrooms, but they were actually potatoes cut in the mushroom shape! I was surprised when I took a bite, but it was delicious! The server was also very kind and split the checks. The menu stated there is a $ 4 charge for split checks, but our server did not add that charge. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars due to my friend saying her scallops were not very good. My food was great and the presentation was beautiful!

Went here for my daughters birthday. We made a reservation and the person who took the reservation asked if we had a special occasion we were celebrating which was very nice. However, upon arrival… we were seated quickly, it was a Monday and the place was dead. Our waitress arrived and told us about a drink special. She left and didn’t ask if we would like to order drinks. She returned and we had to ask her if we could order drinks. The menu is limited and sadly we don’t like mushrooms which were in every dish. They were able to take them out of the dishes we ordered. The chicken pasta-terrible. Chicken was burned on one side and super dry. The kids ordered steaks and the seafood pasta which they enjoyed. I had a full plate of food and I was never asked if there was an issue with my meal. I didn’t want to say anything because it was my daughters b-day and I didn’t want her to feel awkward. Anyway… after plates were cleared we were given the bill with no mention of the previously discussed birthday. :(

Went there for my wife’s birthday. Our kids had sent a flower arrangement and bought us a bottle of champagne which the restaurant took care of perfectly. The food and service was great. The artichoke dip was especially good.

I was here a few nights ago as part of a party of 6. The atmosphere, the service and food were fantastic! I had the Bison short ribs which were absolutely delicious, it was shared and loved by all. All 6 of us left there happily satiated. Thumbs up to the chef!

Ate here last night and it was fantastic! Had the shrimp rellano for appetizer it was so good. Then the bison meatloaf as main corse. Simply delicious. This was a really good upscale quiet restaurant to go out too. Definitely beats the crowds at the other local restaurants. We wish Copper had more nicer restaurants like this.

Fantastic food & service, & we honestly had one of the absolute best waitresses! Olive was attentive, helpful, informative & entertaining! She gave us honest recommendations from the menu, & we were all so pleased with our meals! Our group of 6 visited Copper Mountain for Christmas & chose CB Grille as our dinner spot for our last night in town, & we’re glad we did! The bison meatloaf, maple rosemary chicken & steak were all great entrée choices. For apps, we had the cheese board & shrimp & were equally pleased with those selections!

Just finished dinner with family of six. This was one of the worst meals that we have been served in Copper Mountain. The Elk was burned after ordering medium rare. Service was like the other reviews so we knew going in that the service would be poor. Overall it is best to avoid this restaurant, save the money, and eat elsewhere.

The ambiance was beautifully dim and elegant. We were seated by the gracious and kind manager. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had a pre-dinner cocktail that was appropriately strong and the wine paired with our delicious food was great. For a resort restaurant, we loved it! Sometimes resort food isn’t the best, but this was delicious!

We had our last night fancy restaurant meal here. Appetizers(calamari and lightly breaded and fried avocado crab balls) and split an entrée of lasanga. Plenty of food and very good — nice wine list, too. And still under $ 100 with tip, which, considering that its a resort and everything is expensive — was pretty reasonable. Our waiter was a wonderful escaped Texas Aggie who was knowledgeable about the menu, gave us great advice, and was just a pleasure to be around. We highly recommend this place.

Ordered the bison meatloaf(solid) and a steak w/fries. The steak w/fries was definitely the winner. Lots of food with that dish. Service was very nice — but the food took a really long time to arrive. Think 30 minutes from ordering a dessert(the peanut butter cake thing) to receiving it. Great place if you want a leisurely dinner — where you’re willing to relax and have a glass of wine versus getting out of there quickly.

not many choices on Copper Mtn were we skied and will not be back for this place. 6 people and made reservations — waiter brought us to the table, someone said something and we had to go back to waiting area to end up at the same table after 10 min of waiting . My son ordered Angus steak got a burger instead which he told the waiter 3 times but he still dropped it in front of him. Also order meatloaf(bland), lamb, steak and fries, duck and calamari and something else. Steak was ok, but bitter bitter broccoli and spinach as sides. Burger bun was burned, patty was burned and every side of fries were cold. Manager came by and asked about experience but only an apology and that was it She offered desert for the burger I don’t need an apology — I obviously did not eat it — take it off or offer me replacement For $ 290 total you should leave happy and satisfied will NOT return

I would say this place was a 3 to 3.5. The food portions are big! Just like most US towns :) I had seafood pasta which was pretty good, plus half of the chocolate cake dessert. Also pretty good. The staff was great — very friendly and fast — although the place was not very full so they didn’t have many people to serve. The location is right in the heart of centre village. My date had the steak and she enjoy it I would say it certainly looked great. We also had some wine, a nice bottle of Zin from California. The wine selection was decent too. Basically this was like a middle-upper scale chain restaurant like the Keg or Jack Astors(Canadian reference sorry I can’t think of US ones) but with smaller town charm and super friendly Colorado people :) Definitely a safe bet! Btw, copper mountain is a really nice place to ski. And you’ll probably save some $$ vs going over to Vail which is as expensive or in some cases more expensive than Manhattan!
