Dave & Buster’s

So two starts because we waited for an hour for our food but drinks were on the time, so basically when you come be sure to wait for your food and be ready to play games lol

A great place for adults and older kids (4 yrs old and up) to play games. It’s like Chuckie Cheese for adults after hours. The food here was way overpriced! I don’t mind paying $ 17.99 for steak and seafood but not for mediocre food. I had ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp with lobster sauce and fire grilled sirloin steak. The lobster sauce didn’t taste like lobster or anything close to lobster but more like tomato basil soup. The bacon was underdone. Nothing exciting about the steak. They lost me at the Parmesan creamed corn. It didn’t go with the shrimp, the steak, nor the garlic mash potatoes. Let’s not talk about the mash potatoes. How did you manage to mess up that one? I prefer my garlic mash potatoes thick, not mushy and runny. If you want delicious well prepared garlic mash potatoes, I highly suggest Pappadeux. If I had known the spinach garnished on top was deep fried, I would have not order this dish. I was more impressed with my kids’ fish sticks. The service was SLOW but our waiter was polite and friendly. Oh, and I forgot to mention my sad piña colada. I appreciate the bartender for making it since it was not on the menu but did I order a piña colada or a smoothie? You think the bartender could add a pineapple slice or little umbrella to make it look more appealing. At least decorate the glass for sweet Baby Jesus sake!
Overall, skip the food and just play the games.

This place is a joke. It is just a much more expensive version of Chucky cheese. Dave and busters used to have a great brand that catered mostly to adults, but now they have sold out and it’s all kids all the time. It’s like a rock concert in the entire place, have to yell to talk, what a pain in the ass to be at. Never going back.

We had a great time here on a sunday afternoon! It is loud, but once you adjust to it, its ok. The dining areas are spacious. Food average. The waitress we had was amazing! I ordered a steak salad and the meat was cold and bloody. They do not serve hot meat on their salads so heads up! The waitress was very kind and helped me to reorder so all was fine! We dropped $ 100 for 7 people on food and gaming. We were there 3 hours!

Only giving one star because zero is not an option. could of spent the night and still not got a drink. Not the waitresses fault. She was nice.

Its nice, a bit packed and its small. I have been to bigger Dave & Buster’s and size is important and it allows for more games and activities so a little bit of a let down. But its new and clean so if your at the mall I guess its a nice distraction after a movie or something, just don’t expect this to be your whole night.

My first experience was pleasant enough to give more than one star. But unless my friends invite me or want to play games, I will not be recommending this place to anyone.
Food was mediocre, service from start to finish was horrible, the games are incredibly overpriced. If you’re gonna go, go on a Wednesday and just play games half off. Only time it’s worth it…

Service is very slow and it just gets worse as the night continues. Waited 20 minutes just to get the drinks at our table. Buddy of mine walked to the bar and just ordered another drink before his first drink even arrived. Food timing was terrible and they brought the appraisers and entrée at the same time, late no less. If it wasn’t for the games I’m not sure people would even show up to this place. Food is mediocre at best. Their «fave» ribs and wings platter was just OK. My ribs came with aluminum foil still stuck on them. My girlfriend got the Cabo Chicken and the side of steamed veggies weren’t even steamed. To my waiters credit, she at least tried to fix the food issues. Just be prepared to wait because the kitchen must be backed up to hell.
If you want to go to an overpriced place with terrible service and mediocre food. This is the place. The only niche this place fills is to get drunk and play arcade games. Better to just order take out and play Xbox at home, food and service will probably be better.

After waiting since 2004 to come here, I honestly thought this place was considered an adult playground, not the sexual one, but the one for adults to come and enjoy arcade games.
Boy was I wrong, totally a monstrous amount of rugrats everywhere with their parents. I couldn’t even walk straight toward the restroom without running into a kid.
The noise level was high due to all the unnecessary screaming coming from the mouths of children.
Every game was occupied by a child, I didn’t see not one adult playing any of the games. What a disappointment.
Not only was that the worse thing, but the fact that if you decide to eat at the restaurant. The food at the sports bar is as average as Abe, most likely mediocre and expensive.
I felt rushed as I was trying to enjoy what I had on my plate. Our waitress some chick with orange (red) hair. She was all nice in everything, but rubbed me the wrong way when she kept on being annoying and quickly give my friend and I the tab while we were still eating.
The busboy couldn’t stop eye-​balling me and continued to make me feel as uncomfortable as I shouldn’t have been.
In fact, I ordered the salmon and mixed veggies. While the meal was an arm and leg, the portion size was bare minimum.
Also, even the ladies restroom was a messy train-​wreck that needed to be tended to.
What’s the point of calling it Dave and Busters, when the name should ultimately be called Chuck E. Cheese?!

This review is based on two visits within the past month. Let me start off by saying the food is horrible and way overpriced for what they give you. On our first visit for my birthday, I requested a vegetable side for dietary reasons and they still brought out the side of fries it came with and charged me for it. The waitress charged my daughter for her kid drink when it is supposed to come with her meal.
And to end the meal after placing check on table and my wife clearly eating still, the waitress asked me 3 times to take care of the check. I found this very tacky and it wasn’t like closing time or we were camping out or anything like that.
I mentioned the above to Dave and Buster’s management and all they did was lie about a resolution.
Our second visit was on a Sunday for the 5.00 appetizer specials for the NFL playoff games. The nachos were atrocious. It was a pile of chips with literally a drizzle of actual «Nacho Ingredients». This is totally unacceptable to feed guests garbage like this. My wife’s Coronarita was $ 9.89 which is greedy on their part.
The games are pricey as well with the option to get a reloadable power card. You can load pretty much any dollar amount up for your card but they don’t tell you this, they expect you to spend what is posted on their posted sign.
This place is horrible! I wouldn’t come here unless you like giving away your money!

I can not give a full review on the food served here due to a 2hour wait. The games are slightly overpriced, but very fun. The price selection is great for adults as well as children. The floor in the bar area was VERY sticky and un clean. However the bartender was very nice & gave us service in a timely manner. I would definitely go back. Hopefully next time I can try some of the food. Overall it was a really fun atmosphere.

Just went here for the first time for date night. The place is actually really HUGE. Lots of seating at the bar area. We were seated the restaurant side which was a little bit more quiet and not as full. The drinks and food were great, but I took a star away because our service seemed so slow. It was as if our waitress could only do one thing at a time. (Ex. We asked for silverware and a water refill and she did one at a time with like 5 minutes in between). Normally for a friday, it wouldn’t be an issue but the place was only half full so service should definitely not be slow, especially when I saw so many people on staff. Otherwise, the manager was very friendly and went out of his way to greet us at our table.

Excellent place for kids and adults, very clean restrooms, great service, food is good, drinks are on point an great. It’s alittle pricey but if you want to bring out your enter child an have good drinks it’s the place to be. When you first walk in your introduction is good they let you know they are here to help.

Nice new location by Baybrook mall. You’re welcomed by friendly staff at the card loading area. The bar was modern with plenty of booth seating and huge tv’s to catch any game. Ordered a Miami vice snow cone, dos xx’s, and a Shirley temple for drinks. The Miami vice and Shirley temple were not good so stick to beer if you come. The cheesy spinach dip was tasty but pass on the pepperoni pretzel pull apart. It was a good concept but failed in execution. Not all pretzel pieces were covered by cheese and pepperoni and it was just a dry dish all together.
As for the games, they were all working and in new condition. A big variety on what to play for kids and adults. The prize area was well organized with plenty to choose from. Can’t go wrong with all the candy options.
If you do the photobooth, get Gideon as your photographer. He’s a hilarious character.

Disappointed. Don’t be a hater, read with an open mind. I have 5 kids of my own.
We are religious attendees of Dave and Busters. They pride themselves on being the adults play place. We’ve gone to 5 FM different D&Bs in 4 FM different big cities.
This one, though… this one falls below the standards I have for D&Bs… its obvious they market to families with small children, and that’s cool, it’s just not what I’m used to or expect and want when I spend top dollar for a night out gaming w my hubby.
If I wanted that, I’d head to Chuck E Cheeses.

Came here with my son and his friends for his birthday. We were really excited about the Baybrook Mall expansion and could not wait for the Dave & Buster’s. Parking lot was full and people were streaming into the place. We were really impressed by the new area with all its new shops and restaurants.
Walking in, I was immediately impressed. This place puts the Richmond and I-​10 location to shame. Not because of size, but because of how modern and new it looks. The bar immediately caught my attention because of the huge screens and sheer size. It’s definitely a good spot to catch games at. The gaming area seems about the same size as other locations, but newer of course. I’ve always liked the menu. There’s something for everyone on there. I always get the philly cheese steak. I’ve had them in Philly and know what one should taste like, but this one satisfies me just fine.
Overall, I was happy with this new location. They still have a few kinks to work out, especially in the restaurant part. The hostess wanted to seat me and 7 kids at the bar when there were plenty of seats in the dining area. There isn’t much communication going on between the staff. We had to ask for napkins and silverware a couple of times. That’s the only reason I subtracted the star. We will definitely be back!

Came here last Thursday night and it was pretty dead. However they had an army of employees just standing around. Our waitress wasn’t able to tell us what Beers were on tap, so we were forced to walk to the bar (which in this place is a pretty good haul) to check out the selection. Ordered the cheesesteak all the way and it came out with just meat and cheese. So that had to be sent back.
Came back on Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Trying to find a server was nearly impossible. The food quality here is severely lacking compared to other locations. No one in our party was impressed with the food and the service was abysmal.
Why not have a corporate manager in place for the first month of opening to ensure things are running smoothly? I love their other locations and I hope this can be chalked up to opening jitters, but overall not a good start.

New biz in da area… Great for Sunday Funday and Monday night football. .staff and management are definitely there to please there soon to be regulars. …

The good — Fun place to hang out with the family… kiddos love it but it’s pricey… we played tons of games and my son loved it.
The bad and the ugly – we and sat at the tables for about 15 minutes before we had to ASK for a waitress… we ordered beer and appetizers… I ordered a regular pint and the waitress bought me a 22 Oz and said if u don’t drink it all, well charge u for a regular pint but if u drink it all, well charge u for the 22 oz… how dumb… instead she should have said since we messed up u can have to beer at a regular pint cost, since that is what u ordered.
Conclusion– fun place, waitresses are not too smart… and wish they had bowling like the other locations

Definitely a place to go hangout with the kids and/​or adults. They have huge screen tvs for sports and entertainment. The games are all new and in good working condition. The staff appear to be fresh and engaged with providing a positive experience. The bar is stocked with the most mainstream beers. The alcohol shelves range from the tried and true to top shelf selections. The bathroom was clean and smelled fresh. I really had a good time at this location. The only thing I would watch out for is the good took a little too long. I only had a salad and a burger while at the bar. However, I’ll chock it up to them just opening a couple of weeks ago. Enjoy!
