I’m new to the area and so glad that Fresno has something like this. Nice selection of brews. Im not a stout/porter gal so it can be hard to find those lighter wheat drinks & ales, but they’ve got a great selection of everything. Board games and some arcade games out back. Great place to chill out with friends.

Ben and Mike have done more for the area and community then they know. Coolest dudes in town. Best beer. Don’t go looking for food or anything else to drink other than beer cos that’s it here and that’s fine with me.

I am rounding up here, because I give it a 3.5. But, I liked it. Pros: Tons of beer. Like, a lot. Dare I say too many? No, that feels weird. Maybe a tad overwhelming. Streetfighter game in the back. Hubby said it was the first time he has ever played the game, while being able to have a beer. Small. I like the layout and simplistic tone of the bar. The gift a beer wall. I like the concept of this. Typically when you drink, you are in a giving and kind mood, why not gift a beer to a friend for the next time they come in! Cons: The bathroom. While the messages in the ladies bathroom were entertaining while I was going pee, it left me wondering, «what type of people come here?» Why are you in this bathroom carving out your problems of the world, rather than going outside of the bathroom and just talking to someone!!! I don’t think I’ve ever felt compelled to bust out a sharpie or something pokey to carve out my woes in a bathroom. Don’t be a lame, just go pee, have a beer and vent about your first world problems to the bartender! The crowd. I didn’t really get a social vibe. Or maybe that was the vibe… just very recluse, stay to your own group and drink type of bar. Which some people may be looking for… They didn’t have Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest… in October… in a mega craft beer bar… Is it because Sierra Nevada is too mainstream? Did they run out? I just don’t get it…

Can’t beat this place. Jason and Jacob take care of your beer needs. Various beers to select from. This is always our go to beer spot. No beer snobs here

It’s small, it’s home-y, its got some fantastic beers, it’s got skeeball, it’s got pacman, and it has some boardgames, what more could you ask for in a bar? I like this place a lot. A little too small for bigger get togethers, but that’s ok, it’s fun and lively!

It’s a hipster bar with a wide selection of beer, and sticky floors. Ew.

Hidden little spot with great craft brews. Popped in for the first time the other night with a buddy before a show at the Fresno Soap Co. We ended up staying longer than we anticipated. Beers were delicious. Will definitely come back again.

Awesome little place that I would’ve never wandered into had a local not told me about it. Friendly bartenders, nice beer selection even w/the few draft offerings. I love the bottle fridges in there and the skeeball machine and old arcade games in the back. Would definitely stop back by.

Dim lighting. Low key. Bike décor. Bartender offering samples. BYOF — bring your own food. Few beers on tap but the selection of cans and bottles was astounding. As they keep adding beer to their menu boards, the handwriting gets smaller, so bring your distance glasses or a friend with 20⁄15 vision. I’ll be that friend. Awesome place. They sell t-shirts and sweatshirts. If you happen to find yourself with an extra Spokeasy t-shirt in a size small, I’m your girl. Lady brought her baby in a stroller. Will be back. Keep your eyes open as it’s easy to have them slide right over the entrance, Leaky Cauldron style.

Hands down the best place for craft beer in the Tower District and Fresno. A great staff who is knowledgable about beer without being overbearing or snobbish in any way, and a nice place that feels comforting and warm. I have been going since day one, and will continue to frequent it as long as I live in Fresno. Seriously if you like beer in any capacity and what a nice place to go on a weeknight nightcap or a place to drink on the weekends, this is the place. Also it embodies something I love about certain bars in Fresno, all walks of life and different types of people enjoying something together.

We stopped in here on our motorcycles one day for a drink. It’s a small neighborhood bar with a bicycle theme. They have a few video games in the back and if you bicycle in, you can bring your bike into the bar. The cool thing is that they have a fantastic selection of craft beer. The bartender was really knowledgeable and let us taste some of the beers before we made a selection. I felt a little out of place being the only guy in jeans and leather amongst a bar full of bicyclists, but everyone was really cool. Nice little bar. Definitely check it out.

What more can a beer lover really ask for? They trade out their beer kegs 2 times a day. They have nothing but really good quality brew. Their prices are reasonable and affordable. They have a skeeball machine not to mention Street Fighter and Pacman. Without this awesome little place Tower would not be the same. Rivals some of the best beer pubs in America.

As a Tower resident we have no shortage of decent drinking holes but Spokeasy is without question my favorite. Great selection, great prices, great video games, and just the right amount of stank. Whenever I have people come in from out of town I bring them here. Whenever the nights festivities with friends are up to me this place is always a stop if not the main event. Come hang out, play the video games, drink the beer.

The spoke easy is one of the classiest bars in town the management was actually intrested in my experience and with the incredibly large amount of beer varieties, i was pleased they helped me choose a beer that was just my style. I would recommend them to anybody with our without a bike to park inside, you’ve gotta check this place out. Thank you spokeasy

What a «spoke-tacular» craft beer bar. If you’re «cycler» and a «hop-head» than paradise awaits you in Fresno my friend, yup you read that correctly… Fresno. This bike friendly bar not only offers over 75 different craft beers at any given time, but also has a fully loaded game room with classic arcade games for a little nostalgia to go along with that beer buzz. Spokeasy Public House offers craft beers in multiple different forms: bottle, draft, and growlers, basically you’re not leaving here empty handed. The beer selection does not stop at american borders they offer different types of craft beer from all over the world. I was enjoying a bourbon based craft beer and for the life of me I can’t remember what my beer was called exactly. Note to self, always photo stuff when drinking. My time at Spokeasy was short lived and I may been already celebrating before I arrived, so my recollection of Spokeasy is a little spotty, but of one things I did notice and enjoyed was that it wasn’t insanely loud and packed with drunken Fresno Frat boys. This is a mellow place, a place for friends to kick back, and enjoy a tasty craft beer. The bar is small, cozy, and if you drive too fast down Van Ness avenue you’ll definitely miss this Fresno Gem. This craft beer bar is off the beaten of the Tower District’s main street and if you’re a local go there tomorrow, if you happen to pass through Fresno kick your bike into high gear and race over to the Spokeasy Public House.

Place is very cool. They had a couple sour beers on tap and they’ve only about 6 taps so I thought that was crazy! Of course they rotate their taps but for 2 of them to be sour beers is saying a lot. Sour beer’s a real acquired taste. Pretty chill atmosphere and it looks a bit like a divey bar but it isn’t at all. A little more hipster for sure though Fresno only hosts so many hipsters. Would definitely come back here.

Love Spokeasy. I’ve been in a handful of times now, once for a Stone-hosted beer tasting event, all Stone taps, all AMAZING. Other times have also been good. Management has good taste in draft beer, and their bottle selection is great too. The bartenders are all very low-key and mellow, easy to chat with, eager to make recommendations based on your preferences, not theirs, which is always nice. Even on wild nights, like Tower pub crawls, they stay pretty quiet. It’s off the beaten path on Olive, up Van Ness a ways, so drunk people don’t often wander that far. Which is great. Any night of the week, I can walk over and grab a cheap(but delicious) brew and sit in a relatively mellow place and enjoy my solitude. I highly recommend, but not if you’re looking for a party scene or a place to get someone drunk for their 21st.

I could have swore that I reviewed this place before, but it looks like I haven’t! Came here after dinner with my girlfriend and had a beer, and we remembered why it is that we like this place. They have a good selection of harder to find craft beers, about 5 or so on tap and the rest in bottles/cans. Even though this is a place that you can find some rarer and high quality beers, no one here is all uppity about it. I hate talking to people who are big in to craft beer but act like they are better than anyone else, its irritating. The dudes working here don’t care what you like to drink, they will sit back and chat with you all the same, they are all super friendly. Like I said earlier the beer selection is really good, they will also let you bring food in to the bar if you want. They have several classic arcade games that they will, I think, give you tokens for to play. If you get the high score on a game you get your name up on the high score board above the bar. All in all this is a great place to come have a beer and hang out. If you are looking for some super fancy place this maybe isn’t your spot, but I happen to think this place is great!
