I went here for dinner last night and was seated right away. We ordered our food then waited about 15 – 20 minutes. Our server told us that there were a lot of bento box orders so they were a little behind — that was no problem. I thought, «oh maybe that means our food will be nice and hot». I was wrong :(Our food came out cold. I mean the rice was cold and the firecracker chicken was a bit soggy. The only thing that was lukewarm were the tempura veggies and gyoza items.

Wow. What a Fresno gem. Unbeatable for taste and service. This is a place where everyone needs to try their special! Takoyaki. Sushi is very big and couple of rolls more than enough to feel full and happy. Ingredients are fresh. Nice décor. Very pleasant atmosphere here. I will come back for more of this holiday of taste. Good job guys !!

I love this place. Service is quick and friendly. Never had a bad experience here and I go all the time. All you can eat sushi is a great deal. For only $ 23 that is a bargain compared to eating at any other sushi restaurant.

Sushi is very fresh. Prices are reasonable. Big sushi pieces unlike I Love Sushi. They have ‘ALLYOUCANEAT’ sushi which is 23.99 for lunch time and 25.99 for dinner. Service is good as well. Only thing that needs improvement is the interior. If they add some vibrant colors and music, the atmosphere would be perfect. Delicious sushi and definitely worth trying!

Here is the story after Fresno state I felt like hot tai soup little spicy make blood going and warm up in chilly November evening parked by this tai place off Bullard and first walking towards and seeing sign all you can eat sushi rolls and ramen … What a Surprise, I did search before for all you can sushi place but didn’t have luck but now it came to me itself out of nowhere I went inside yes I did change my mind and went for sushi place. Inside small room fits about 50 total people with sushi sake bar included Waited 5 minutes and asked waitress how it works here well for dinner 25.99 you can order 3 times First time 3 rolls second 2 and third 1 make sure finish it all left overs $ 5 charge no boxes to go I decided to try because felt pretty hungry You can pick soup or starters doesn’t have to be sushi rolls only and you can only pick rolls from that all you can eat list not specialty rolls After all it was Thursday and place was full family operated looks like dad is a chef and. Very busy he even brought me rolls on the table I can say soup is great .They have about 8 different kinds of ramen .Fish was fresh rolls are good tasty, all they need is couple helpers to make service faster Will go back for more Ramen:)

I am not really a big fan of sushi but when the craving hits, it’s game on. Tried S21– ordered various dishes off the menu and can’t say I was impressed at all. The bowl, which comes with fried rice and fish was okay. The rice was bland so I added spicy mayo and Sriracha. We ordered sashimi which didn’t taste or smell so fresh. Spicy tuna hand roll– I think I could have made it better myself. The service from waitress was slow and lacking skill. Not on my Fresno list of places to eat. Sorry

Wow! I am no noodle expert, but this place has some really delicious Ramen noodles. This was my first experience eating at a Ramen noodle house, so take my advice with a grain of salt. The first question I asked myself when I took that first slurp of noodles was, «where have you been all my life?» It was seriously that good. I wanted to pour the brouth into a cup and drink it. Price wasn’t that bad either, $ 9-$ 10 for a bowl. I give this place two thumbs up!

The best ramen place in Fresno!!! :) My table ordered three ramen and everything came out on time and all at once so me and my friends could enjoy our bowls together. After the Japanese chef left this place, I’ve never waited too long to get a bowl of ramen, plus ramen tastes as good as before or even better. I love beef so I always get yakiniku ramen. Sometimes I get chicken curry ramen which is not on the menu but the picture is on the wall so it is not secret menu I guess. The broth is rich and flavorful, noodles are cooked well and lots of toppings!!! I haven’t tried their sushi as much as ramens but I could say their deep fried rolls are really good(godzilla, rockstar) and some of the specials not on the menu which are salmon king, fisher man and etc are amazing. If you are like me who tries to get some of the customized or off the menu items, definitely ask server or chef about it. They’re really friendly!(:

Ok so first, I’m not a sushi connoisseur by ANY means, but the sushi is not good here. I’ve been to Wasabi, Sakura, EdoYa, and Roll One For Mi. And I like their sushi. The sushi here is not something I would recommend. The rice is very mushy and has a slight lemon twang to it… It’s just different. The sweet sauce isn’t complimentary to the dish. It’s a weird, watery twist to teriyaki. I asked for straight teriyaki and what they brought was not good at all. It was warm too. BF was satisfied with Tonkotsu. The broth is slightly saltier than Ramen Ichiban. The Cha Siu didn’t taste fresh but was ok. I attribute the mediocre sushi to their AYCE deal. Try the ramen and if you aren’t satisfied then go to Ramen Ichiban and give them a whirl. If you’re still not satisfied, go get phở or something. You’re on your own.

If you’re living in Merced and you want to find some decent ramen, this is where I would go. It was actually pretty good. The ramen was fairly priced. I think everything else was fairly priced, too. I ordered sashimi as an appetizer along with the ramen. Place is a little small and can get semi-crowded. We went on a weekend for dinner and we went just in time it got crowded. There’s a bar here, too, with variety of sake. I think they have a sushi buffet, too, but I don’t know too much about it. Also, don’t freak out where it’s located. Food is good, so it’s no worries.

I’ve been to this place for one reason only. RAMEN. There are not many places in Fresno that serve ramen and when I found out that this place had it I knew I just had to come here. First off, there are only certain days that they serve the real stuff Mon, Tues & Thurs during lunch time are safe bets. There is only one guy cooking the ramen so sometimes it can take a while for your order to come out. Sometimes up to an HOUR. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and on a different occasion I ordered the milky one. I have to say I much prefer the Tonkotsu ramen. It was delicious, savory, and very satisfying during a cold day. The portions are a good size so you won’t leave hungry. The only negative thing I could say was that it was just a tad bit too salty but other than that if you are craving a bowl of ramen this hits the spot!

I finally got a chance to taste #milky ramen at S21. They were ok but compared to the Urban Ramen in LA they fall short. We did have a chance to sit with the Japanese association club… very upbeat bunch and they take their karaōke very serious!!! Overall it was a great dinner. What would make this a great place? Maybe I’m just too picky but I love a flavorful broth… this was a bit bland for me. The staff was pretty great which makes it a better experience. I would eat here again. Just add some spices, kimchi, and yum!!!

Went for lunch, had the mild ramen, it was really good! Lived up to my cravings for it! I also bought a rainbow roll deluxe and it was really bland. Needed a sauce for a topping. Other than that it was good. Service was average though. Full house and it ran a little slow with only 1 server. But I think my ramen was worth it. I’d go again. PS they really need new menus… they were practically falling apart. Lol

While the ramen here remains delicious, it seems to come with a caveat– the slooowwwww service. It’s unfortunate because it can be completely avoidable. Every time I have patronize S21, they have been understaffed. it’s always noticeable but never noteworthy until recently. I went in for dinner the other night and the poor server was obviously overwhelmed as she was tending to 8 – 10 tables all by herself. All around us there was a delay in everything — seating people, taking orders, bringing out food, bringing over the check, refills, etc. It took us almost an hour before we got our ramen. On top of that, it was the wrong ramen. They got the orders mixed up between us and another table. The same thing happened at the table next to us. I feel really bad for the server because it’s obviously not her fault the owners don’t want to adequately staff their restaurant. However they need to get with the program and add more staff or can we get another good ramen house in Fresno please?

The«Ramen» here is a joke and is nothing special. I would rather just make my own ramen, and add a couple hard boiled eggs onto it and be satisfied from there. The so called«Ramen Chef» had to make his little entrance, while everyone else was waiting on his ass to cook the damn ramen. The wait was like 45 mins or so, and it was just dissatisfying to have to wait that long, to eat something that not only did not quite have the curry taste that I ordered, but just tasted nearly identical to the ramen you can buy at grocery stores. Even the water was nasty.
