The Thai Boat Noodle here is AMAZZZZING. The best that I’ve ever tried in town. We’re always seated right away and food comes out quickly. Décor needs an update but I don’t care the food is always amazing!

The make it or break it component of every bowl of Phở is the richness and taste of its broth and Phở 76 ‘kills it’ with their delicious tasting broth and remedied my longing for a delicious bowl of Phở. Is it the most amazing broth in all of Fresno? Heavens no, yet I have to admit the phở broth is way above average in its overall taste and it is for that reason that I would be back for more of their steamy goodness. Be on guard that this place is «CASH» only, bummer I know, so don’t forget to run to the bank before coming here, or use their convenient indoor ATM which charges a hefty fee. The unique element that sets this place far apart from other places is the offering of baked goods(cakes, bread and asian desserts) [which is not surprising since its name has Bakery included], and the wide offerings of rice plates and noodles that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I honestly feel that Phở 76 is a fusion of Thai-Vietnamese and Laotian, because the restaurant offers a broad choice from these 3 distinct cuisines on their menu. The Phở here is good, you see a bowl of phở is a beautiful marriage of tender rare beef slices, onions and flat rice noodles in an wonderfully rich and aromatic broth. The secret of every phở place is in its aromatic broth, and although same in taste for the untrained taste buds, each place has a unique way of flavoring its broth, there is no two place that makes the same tasting broth, its impossible. The broth at Phở 76 is certainly aromatic, slightly sweet, perfectly salty and has that rich earthy taste of beef bones cooked very slowly. My only complaint would be the fact that the rare beef slices, was too cooked when it arrived at my table, but the broth did not disappoint. My dish was accompanied by fresh herbs, bean sprouts, spicy chili peppers and lime wedges. The duck noodle soup was certainly delicious and unique to this place, the broth was significantly tasty and has a rich earthy poultry broth, that was strikingly similar to a western chicken noodle soup, yet has more depth in flavor from spices and garnish. It is served with perfectly crispy roasted duck chopped into bite sized pieces and complimented with thin strands of yellow egg noodles. Price wise this place is not expensive but its not a bargain either. its probably average for the food quality you can get. The interior itself is nothing to marvel oneself into, its practically dodgy, I do find it however to be clean for a south east asian restaurant. The service was extremely friendly and efficient, water was always topped off, and food came out 10 minutes upon ordering. The restaurant itself is located in a tacky part of town, therefore don’t expect an excellent surrounding, but plenty of parking is available.

So far probably the best place in fresno for thai boat. Last time i had it the meats witch consist of tendons and such was not as soft and was chewy rubbery. This bowl has house made fried or roast pork belly unlike other places where you get pork rinds. I remember years ago the broth had more of a sourness to it. 4 stars for inconsistency. But ofcorse this is my preffered phở restaurant to go. I recommend giving lao vieng a go too. a close to 1st in my book. Still exploring… larb here is also very good.

Kind of got upset when I got my bowl of noodles because the bowl was not even the size of medium it looks more like small! Even other phở place does a better job than this. And they over charge you too. I wanted to get more noodles, but the waiter was just too busy to come back so I was like whatever.

I like their phở, the chow mein, and fried rice combination. That’s petty much it what we always order. I got beef and broccoli i didn’t like it. I don’t like trying new things if the first one fail. Customer service OK I can barely understand them some times and they can barely understand me some times but its OK. Love the phở though and they are nice. Yes I’ll still go there once in a while when I’m craving Phở.

Very good place but at times you get rude customer service. Not to mention unsanitary silverware. Their forks, the majority of the time aren’t properly cleaned. It still has gunk on the on between the sides of the fork. You look at the forks before you eat

I like this place. They’re friendly and have a good sense of humor. My friends and I went in after discovering the places near us were closed and when we walked in it looked like they were cleaning up to leave however when I asked the man about them closing he answered, «No, we were waiting for you!» We all laughed and had a seat. Average prices for PHO. I had the Pad Thai which was good. No spring rolls this round however I have had them before and they were excellent. I would have to say driving East bound on Mckinley from First, this would be my primary choice.

Worst place ever there was a rude waiters young guy in his 30s give u attitude. They need to fire this guy And their Brock phở taste like shit… And there hardly any meat and noodles in my phở. They seem to use old left over meat from the old Brock to the new Brock. I recommended not to go there… Or you will be regrets.

Portions get smaller and smaller as the price continues to go up. But their food is good and service could be better.

We always eat here, and usually it’s a good experience. The phở isn’t consistent, but it you’re just a regular phở eater then this place is good. The atmosphere is what it is, just enter and seat yourself. It’s a comfortable space, so treat it like your close friend’s place. Majority of the fried dishes are great. My favorite is #11, pad seew. If you’re trying this place for the first time or you’ve been disappointed in previous experiences, just go in and order #11. It’ll hit the spot.

After eating some phở here a couple hours later I got stomach cramps and was puking for hours, …just saying, they got 2 stars because they were polite and greeted me as soon as I walked in

I love the atmosphere it is so family orientated. I’m the type of person that does not venture off too often so things that look strange or unfamiliar I don’t attempt to try, usually! But here there is no misleading if the staff says it’s good, then trust them. I had the pad thi beef it was good. My bf had the phở with all the meats and strange looking stuff and he Loved it, We also had the egg rolls they were some good ones! I usually get the phở with the steak only n I have yet to be disappointed. I usually use my bf as a food tester so I’ll know if it’s a green light to order it or not lol. There is an array of dessert choices as well, we had the bolba thing with coconut milk and it was good, I haven’t had anything similar to compare it to. It was honey sweetened yet it had the taste of condense milk with fruit juices, but it’s just right! It’s not overly sweet like instant crack kool aid but it’s enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. Might I add it’s a pretty drink to look at, very cosmetic desserts here Overall great food and good environment

I usually eat chicken phở. The chicken phở here is good, I love the veggies they add and the broth has good flavor. The beef phở is ok… nothing special. If you walk 100 feet past here you can get phở that is 10 times better at phở 99.

Having such a bad experience from eating at Paradise Restaurant we knew we wanted a new place for phở. Finding this on Unilocal we stopped by and was very happy and pleased with our phở. It was very good compared to Paradise and filled us up for our road trip back home to Utah.

I’ve been wondering for a while now, but after a discussion with friends and family I confirmed that this place lacks good food. I try the phở and oh my gosh msg galore. For the thai boat, which to no surprise cause they use the same broth as phở but blood added to the broth only changes the taste slightly. Still not the business. I haven’t tried other menu item but I’m too disappointed to give it a shot for now. Service is nonexistent and price can be a bit high for the quality of the food. So not much for me to say as of now for this place, maybe an updated review in the future(not anytime soon) might be possible but don’t count on it.
