Paradise Nails

Did not like this nail salon!!! I came in wanting a gel manicure… One of the girls didn’t take her time and rushed on my nails. Did ONE coat of gel polish, didn’t at all use any tools to clean my cuticles, no massage, nothing. My manicure lasted 2 days. Once they chipped I had to take all the polish off it made me so upset. I didn’t want to go back and never will go back because it was lazy service. Even though the manicure is $ 15 it felt like a $ 5 manicure. I would have paid more for better service. Don’t recommend.

I went here for about 5 years! June is the best! I was really sad when I moved out of town. I still haven’t found a place in my new town that is half as good as paradise nails. They even did nails for all the girls in my wedding and female family members on short notice! Amazing. If I could give them 100 stars I would. Also very clean and professional.

My nails cracked the lady made them too thin and the gel chipped in both my thumbs one week after. Place isn’t very homey feeling. Very quiet and plain. I had my nails done at another place and I had no complaints this place was an emergency fill and I will never go back. You get what u pay for.

Have been going here since The end of September and they have always done a quick and good job! I always go to don every 3 weeks, he remembers the shape I like and that I need to be out of there quick. My nails have never lifted and the color almost always lasts 3 weeks (there has been a chip or two).

I’ve been to this place twice. The first time I went there on Fourth of July. Me and my sister went in and they took us both. We both got white tips and clear top coat. We we’re in and out in 30 minutes! The nails lasted about a week and a half. Almost two weeks. I was fine with that we paid $ 25
I went in for a full costed me $ 15 although I did design so that was extra. The gentlemen did my fill he was in a rush because it was me and my friend and there were 2 people waiting. The other employees were also with clients. We were out within an hour. He did my friends nails done. Mine were a bit off. It was difficult to find a glittery silver to cover my white tips. My friends nails had bubbles in them. The way they dry nails there are by putting your hands in front of a small Fan. He was in a rush and he didn’t do his best, I would pay for my service somewhere else.
It’s now a week and a half almost two. My nails with design the white, looks off white. The pink nails are coming off at the tips so you could see the white tips I had previously. You could see bubbles in the nails. He didn’t let them dry properly. I would say you get what you pay for.

They were quick and professional. No frills with this place. It is a fine and affordable service. I was not impressed with the hygiene of the place. I shall return.

My girlfriend and I just got a mani’s and pedi’s for $ 30. They did a nice job, we were both happy :-) They cut out the beginning of my ingrown toenail and that was nice, especially for my first time being there :-) They took us right away without an appointment on a hot Fresno Saturday Morning.
They do need to update there nail polishes. Fresh bottles and new colors will bring me back. The atmosphere was okay, you get what you pay for.

Have no complaints! Been going there for years and never had a complaint. I always make an appointment and let them know I’ll be on my lunch hour. They usually have me in and out in half an hour. The prices are great ($ 25 fill with gel), the staff is friendly however don’t expect too much small talk. They are there to provide you a service and do their job. My nails never lift. I go every three weeks for fills and that’s just because I’m sick of the color. They’re always packed for a reason. They probably could pay a little more attention when it comes to pedicures! Don’t knock it till you try it!

I really don’t understand all the negative reviews here. I get compliments on my nails all the time — even from an ex-​manicurist who wanted to know where I get them done because she liked them so much and needed a place. I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a problem. I have, however, witnessed atrocious behavior by drop-​in customers. Customers who treat service employees as second-​class citizens and seem to think they have a right to be rude and demeaning to the staff. It makes me wonder if those same people are the ones who have written the negative reviews here. If you’re looking for a foo-​foo spa, this is not the place for you… but if you’re looking for a professional mani or pedi without all the chit-​chat and gossip… Helen and Don are the best!

This place is absolutely awful. If you are reading this and you are thinking about going here turn back now. The owner Helen is a really nice person and seems to do a good job. My friend was happy with her nails. I was not as fortunate. The woman would did my nails was rude and in a hurry and did a terrible job. My nails were jagged and rough. She cut me bad and I walked out.
If you’ve ever seen the move «The Beach» with Leonardo Di Caprio, you’ll remember the scene in the beginning where he’s in Thailand at that really horrible hotel. The woman is cleaning the walks and floor with a dirty mop and sparks are flying from the exposed electrical wiring, well that’s what the inside of Paradise Nails looks like. I’m lucky I didn’t catch staph infection.

Poor service! The men are soo rude! I will never go back again! I don’t recommend this place to anyone! And they do a shitty job!

Staff was rude, and they don’t sanitize their tools. I watched one staff finish doing the pedicure on this lady when another lady came in for a mani/​pedi. When she was done w her mani she came to the chair for pedi. The staff rolled her nail cart and began working on this lady’s feet. The staff did not once bother to clean the tools. Won’t be coming back here again!

Love June at this place. I’ve been going for a couple of years… tried someplace else, but went back. Prices are reasonable, but kinda hard to get an appt unless you go early in the morning. Then it’s easy and you get extra care.

They are very rude! They got upset cus I took a photo of what i liked to get and they couldnt give me a basic zig zag design so they wanted to give me stripes and i didn’t like the design and they got really upset! I couldn’t believe it and then with an attitude asked me well what you want! They seemed just so upset the whole time!

I go here quite often, the girl who does my nails is June. Even though she is not much of a talker, she is fast and does a great job. She is the only person I go to. I made the mistake of letting the guy (I do not know his name, younger guy there) do my nails and he did a HORRIBLE job. He is really rude; he cut me really bad the one time I let him do my nails. He didn’t even apologize for it. My finger was bleeding bad and he just gave me a blank stare. I was so disappointed!!! It’s only because of June that I go back.
The Salon is OK. It seems clean… but it can be cleaner. The hot wax container looks disgusting and unsanitary. I would never get my eyebrows waxed there.
