I had the amazing privilege of trying 2 of the Frosted Cakery Cupcakes today. They were by far the best cupcakes/​cake/​frosting etc. that I’ve ever had. I had the chocolate with chocolate frosting and also the caramel swirl – my mouth is watering thinkin about them– if I rated both cakes on taste and moisture alone, they would both get 110% passing grade. They were both so amazingly rich in flavor and taste, I can’t believe I ever purchased a cake from anywhere else!
Now, I totally understand not everyone has the same kinda taste buds as I do, so either of these might be a little sweet for some people, but my suggestion– don’t pass up the opportunity to taste these amazingly delicious cakes. You will regret it. In my opinion, No other cake compares to the Frosted Cakery. Maybe ask for less frosting to accommodate your taste buds, and experience the awesomeness :) Thank you for MY amazing experience with your cupcakes, Frosted! I’ll be back for sure! NOTE TO OWNER– Don’t quit your day job! You’re amazin at what you do!

I really wanted to love this place but my cupcakes were a little disappointing. The frosting was just… off (and WAY too much was piled on). I had the Bordeaux and Salted Caramel. The chocolate cake on the former was pretty good, but the frosting was way too sweet and honestly didn’t taste like buttercream to me… I hoped the caramel would be better but it was worse. There was a slightly soggy piece in the middle and the only saving grace with the frosting were the salty bits of caramel. Super cute décor and I found the service to be very pleasant, though.
I might give it one more shot and try some different flavors.

Pretty and creative cupcake recipes, but are overly sweet. But if you have a very sweet tooth, this may be the place for you.

Small bakery in Tower District. The cupcake displays and décor are overly cute. They all look so perfect! And they come in cute little boxes with ribbon during Vday. If they delivered this would be the perfect gift for family and friends. The only minor issue I have is the icing was way too sweet, tasted like the icing you would buy in a jar at a grocery store.
Pink Champagne is my favorite!

Popped in to get a sweet treat. Although I didn’t see any cupcakes that grabbed my attention, I did buy a little bag of cookies. They were in adorable shapes of a turkey leg and a piece of pie. Very cute! The taste of the cookie itself was good but I wasn’t a fan that fondant was used on the cookie instead of true frosting. Would have tasted SO much better if frosting had been used.
Other than that, it was good. The place is cute, if not a little pricey.

Ordered a very large cake for moms birthday. Looked like a top hat. They had a dent at edge. Didnt offer me a discount to me… not that i asked for one but the gal in front me me and older guy in back of me were offered one. Cupcake ordered was tasty… had bacon on top. Sinfully good. Cake not so great. Customer service worst of the 3. Won’t be back.

Cakes in general is a a sin of biblical proportions for a health nut like me, eating one of this sinful goods translates to 20 – 30 minutes on that grueling stairclimber. Was the cupcakes here worth the pain? Yes and No. Was it good? Yes, was it amazing? Maybe… I bet your asking what do you mean? before I move on to critic the taste and texture, I am certainly impressed that they do offer vegan cupcakes choices and I am also happy to see that all their baked goods are freshly done daily.
My personal philosophy is that everyone has their own taste when it comes to cupcakes (or any food, really). There can never truly be a «#1 best cupcake» because everyone likes different things (or multiple things). So when reading my review, proceed with caution as I am sharing the criteria of cupcake that I personally am fond of.
The cakes here is certainly eye pleasing and perfectly decorated, to be honest I didn’t even want to touch them at first, I just wanted to frame them in an eternal glass chamber and embrace its beauty everyday while imagining myself gorging that beauty.
I actually tried the vegan Chocolate fudge for $ 3. The cake itself is moist, has a strong chocolaty flavor, sweetness is perfect (slightly sweet) while the texture is soft like pillows. The major issue I had was with the chocolate fudge frosting, it wasn’t the look that I had an issue with because the look was gorgeous, it was the taste. The frosting actually has a smooth dense texture and was very chocolaty, it was actually almost perfect in taste, then the sweetness sets in, and that is where the experience sinks. The frosting was cloyingly sweet to the point it left a dry sensation in my mouth after eating the cupcake. If they fix that issue, by reducing the sweetness, their cake would actually be almost perfect.
I do adore the service here, because the cashier is really friendly and helpful, yet not excessively chatty. Smiles was conveyed through out and I felt very welcome into this quaint store decorated in such shabby chic styled décor. The presentation of their cakes storage and store was ridiculously cute. Its very clean and inviting to be sitting here with friends. The cake offerings doesn’t just stop at cupcakes, because they also offer french macarons $ 2.50, whole cakes, slices of cakes, cannoli and so much more. They are also the perfect venue for couples looking for a wedding cake, as they personalize cakes here.
I would definitely return to this adorable cake shop located at the tower district.

They made our Son’s and new Daughter In Law, s wedding cake, 3 tiers~, Sallted Caramel, Champagne, and Chocolate Peanut Butter cup. OMG!!! it was sooooo good, everyone loved how moist and flavorful it was. My brother is not a fan of frosting, but he loved this cakes frosting.
They at the bakery want to make you happy, and they did.

OMG. Originally my daughter bought these and sent them to me for my birthday in July. They were moist, airy, and flavorful.
Recently, She came to visit and she was able to take me to the actual store. We bought these cupcakes; the salted caramel and the smores cupcakes. We also bought a strawberry pizza but it was gone before we knew it lol. They are amazing.
This was my first time to the store. I loved it! They have a great selection to choose from. Anyone reading this should try this experience. ITs FANTASTIC!!!

Waited for a second visit and a second flavor cupcake to rate appropriately. Went there today with my friend and I had the French Toast w/​bacon and it was yummy. Frosting was a tad too sweet, but everything else was excellent. My previous visit was with my sister, niece, and kids. I had the Pink Champagne cupcake and it was amazing and super tasty may I add. My kids had chocolate cupcakes, my sis the Vanilla Bean and my allergic to everything niece was able to have the Snickerdoodle one since they offer a vegan option. It’s a nice treat to stop in and reward yourself with a sweet, delightful cup of blissful cake. I’ll be back!

Super friendly, this place walking through the door smells very sweet. Many cupcakes to choose from. And if wanting to order a custom cake they would need only 2 weeks in advance.

Very cute little place, loved the look of the store. But loved the pastries! Reasonable prices for the quality of the food. My kids had to get a little of everything and they enjoyed the confetti cupcake the most! The raspberry vanilla is amazing! My favorite! While I was there I saw a lady pick up what seemed like a wedding cake and it looked so pretty & the client seemed very happy with it! Can’t wait to come back for seconds!

We ordered cupcakes for a baby shower and they turned out great! Not only did they look amazing but they were delicious. They were made as ordered.

Cupcakes here are never a disappointment. They’re not too expensive, around $ 3 each, and they’re piled high with frosting if that’s what you’re into. They also have cookies, cake pops, and slices for sale, but their flavors vary daily. One of their more interesting offerings is the cupcake milkshake. I have yet to try it, but it looks delicious.
I have to take a moment to rave about their Bordeux cupcake. It’s easily the best flavor there and I could eat it on a daily basis. If you want to know what flavors are available, follow them on Facebook.
They also offer wedding services, but we found it a bit expensive to have favors made by them. :/​for a daily treat, they’re an excellent addition to tower district.

I meant to take a picture but I gobbled that cupcake up so fast! The «Mounds of Joy» cupcake because I cannot resist coconut. It had a piece of mounds candybar on top, and it was filled with coconut.
The real treat is the frosting. It is so light and fluffy, not too heavily sweetened, and the flavor is divine. Love, love, love!
The only thing is, the cake could have been a little more moist. It might be my fault for buying it at 10:00 am and not eating it til noon.
Anyways, it was a treat and I will definitely be back!

Super cute shop but the price is way too high considering the frosting is probably the only thing made from scratch there. But when i went in the younger owner was there and was a tad bit rude and i could see young kids running around in what im guessing is the kitchen area. But the wedding cakes do look amazing but way over priced!

Frosted Cakery did a superb job on our Wedding Treats!
The cake was just as we had pictured, the cupcakes looked gorgeous and received a ton of love, and Frosted Cakery employees even came and setup the cake area to look pristine before the guests arrived for no additional charge.
When my wife and I came to Frosted Cakery for our Wedding Treats, we had already spoken with a few other places that offer wedding cakes, but hadn’t found anyone that could see the vision of exactly what we wanted for any reasonable cost.
I won’t go into details, but for a Cake and 100 cupcakes, serving nearly 200 guests, the price was cheaper than a woman we spoke to that was working out of her home. No joke. And about half the price as some competitors.
On top of that, though, the cake was superb, looked fancy, and was perfect eye-​candy for our reception (which is mostly what we wanted anyway).
Working with the team at Frosted Cakery was seamless and super easy and everything was taken care of far above our expectations. We’d highly recommend anyone to get their wedding cake (and cupcakes, too!) from Frosted Cakery.
Aside from that, my wife and I now are regulars there, trying out new fancy cupcakes as they are imagined and created throughout the year. If you love a sweet treat, this is the place to go, unless you’re diabetic… in which case you should pass.

I was initially visiting the coffee shop next door when I saw the sign for Frosted Cakery. Over The past couple of year I have developed into a cupcake connoisseur, meaning that every time I see a shop specializing in cupcakes I have to partake!!! Idk why but I feel it necessary to eat and critique cupcakes.
Well let me start by saying I truly enjoyed chomping down on these cakey bites of goodness. They have a pretty solid variety of cupcakes to choose from but I ordered the confetti cupcake and the salted carmel cupcake. They were both very moist which is a good thing TRUST ME!!! Now I will say that they were a little heavy on the frosting but I was okay with that because the frosting was good. The frosting that i didn’t want I just didn’t eat (problem alleviated). However the over all quality and taste of the cupcakes was enough to keep me coming back for more.
I was waited on by a younger girl who was polite and maintained a professional through my typical eccentrism. She also made great suggestions on what I should by. So Big ups to the staff for being professional and courteous.
Frosted Cakery also sales cookies and special occasion cakes which look amazing and I am sure they taste just as good as they look. I will likely be buying my niece’s birthday cake from this place come July. I would recommend you stop by if you are ever in tower!!!

Frosted Cakery is amazing. I wanted a traditional 4-​tiered wedding cake, and went to literally every bakery in the Fresno area to make sure my cake was gorgeous and delicious. Being from Los Angeles with my wedding in Bass Lake, I had no idea where to start with finding amazing vendors in the area. I was so impressed with the professional yet kind personalities of the employees, and we had such a fun tasting session with the owner and her daughter. The cakes were incredible and they were willing to work with us on different flavors and designs. We were so happy with the way our cake turned out, and all of our wedding guests were raving over the three different flavors. Needless to say — we’re not waiting a year to eat the top layer of our cake.
We chose their vegan frosting, because it tasted delicious and didn’t melt in the heat of summer!
