Had the Chile Verde Omelette with a side of potatoes and a pancake while my sister had egg whites with bacon, a pancake and biscuits and gravy. Very well portioned, lots of food! The pancake was super tasty, and the eggs with chile verde were really good! Also got a 16oz chocolate milk and she got a Strawberry shake. End price was $ 42.08. Little on the pricey side, but we’ll worth it! Menu is big, with lots of options! Definitely will come again!

My girlfriend and I ate here a couple years ago. I remember the food not being impressive. That is why it took is two years to try again. We just wanted to get a to go order. When I called to order the girl on the other end of the phone said she didn’t know if they were doing to go orders right now. Then she put me on hold. Wait, what? I’ve never heard of a restaurant that didn’t do to go orders. She comes back and told me they weren’t. Um, ok.

Outstanding! I had the Warrior breakfast — the omelette was one of the best I’ve ever had, the protein pancakes were delicious, and the coffee was great. I’d definitely recommend it as a must stop if you are in Fresno.

Brought the family here 3x now on separate occasions as we passed through Fresno. Hands down a favorite with the so many different options for breakfast. I only wish we were in town longer each time so we could try everything. Service has been a little slow each time we’ve visited, but the place is always packed so I get it. Perhaps having more wait staff on hand would help(it’s not like they’re standing around), but other than that, it’s always a delight to SWING by(Wakka, Wakka, Wakka!)

I have visited this place twice and This is my new favorite place to eat. The fresh orange juice is awesome. Service was quick and friendly. Food was exceptional delicious. I also liked the fact that they have a small corner for toddlers to draw and color on the white board.

From the fresh squeezed orange juice to the customer service, This place lives up to the hype! Amazing food, and amazing drink. I had the 1−2−3 combo with cinnamon roll pancake, scrambled eggs, and hashbrowns with bacon on top. The eggs were sub par but to be honest I went for the pancakes and they knocked it out of the park. Aside from their food being amazing, it was also nice to see the manager of the restaurant helping out where ever he could. From bussing tables, taking drink orders, to just chatting it up with the costumers, the owner did it all! Definitely a must go breakfast spot in Fresno

I’m not a pancake person but I ate almost half so it must have been good, maybe. Found this place on Unilocal but the prices went up a lot since those old pics so I took some menu pictures of the price. I prolly should have just gotten one of those cinnamon cakes everyone’s posting pics of with a side of chicken fried steak. Lol maybe next time, prolly not tho. Service was good tho but I think these pancakes are pretty over priced and gimmicky

Family-run restaurant with super great service and friendly staff! The place isn’t very big so can be a while before getting seated. Nevertheless, their pancakes are definitely worth the wait! So many different great breakfast pancakes to choose from — one of my very favorite is the Hawaiian buttermilk pancakes with macadamia nuts and banana cooked inside the pancake topped with whipped cream, a slice of grilled pineapple and homemade coconut syrup! The pancakes were substantial — delicious and so fluffy! Will definitely return for more!

I really wanted to like this place! I hyped myself up for it, but in the end I didn’t really enjoy the pancakes OR coffee; The coffee tasted bland to me, I kept adding cream & sugar, but I think I made it even worse. I don’t know if I would return. Very friendly servers and hosts though! Tip: It gets super busy! So if you have time to wait(25 – 45 min), then you’ll be fine. I went around 9 am on a friday and there was a long wait line.

I keep coming back. Every time I order something different and every time I’m floored by how tasty it is. The food here is simply worth every penny and wait. Friendly staff and great environment to chow. Come here. Seriously. Just go.

The food in my opinion is five stars, but there is always a looooong line, a crowded restaurant, and sometimes slow service. The good: – I adore their gluten-free pancakes, especially the cinnamon roll pancake that comes with cream cheese frosting. Any specialty pancake that can be made with the protein batter can also be made gluten-free, since the protein pancakes ARE gluten-free; they just add safety measures. – The omelettes are always perfectly cooked, nicely stuffed with ingredients, and not overly drowned in cheese. – I’ve had their meats here before, and all of their meat offerings are gluten-free and well-cooked; no limp bacon here. – Servers are friendly and informative. – Take-out customers can go straight to the register and order. The bad: –Well, it’s a good thing, but it’s a hassle: it is ALWAYSBUSY. The shortest wait time I’ve had is ten minutes. –At the heaviest times, good luck seeing your server more than three times(drinks, food, check). They don’t check in with you or they forget things. I’ve had this happen a couple of times, and I’ve been here probably eight times. All in all, they have amazing food that everyone wants with plenty accommodations for gluten-free diets, but you need to be willing to wait for it.

What can I say except I LOVETHISPLACE! I’ve been here on three separate occasions and have yet to be disappointed or unhappy. The service is 5 star, wonderfully friendly staff. The food is ridiculously 5 stars, they probably have the best pancakes I’ve ever had anywhere. Portion sizes are crazy big and could actually be shared with amongst two. I usually get an omelette, potatoes country style and pancake. I usually drench it with hot sauce but I know that it’s delicious on its own. Kids menu it’s great, not to mention the crayons and stuff to color on. Be prepared to wait even on a random Tuesday, but totally worth it. Great for smaller or large groups alike. Can’t wait for my next trip back home to visit!

All I can say is these were one of the best @%xx$ pancakes I have had, probably tied with The Griddle in Los Angeles near Beverly Hills. The texture is light, extremely fluffy and the mandatory crispy edges add that nice textural dichotemy. If you pass through Fresno, don’t miss this place. Lines out the door 7 days a week so expect to wait. We got lucky today and only had to wait 20 minutes. Sunday was a 2.5 hr wait! 5 stars to the moon.

Ok, I’m going to say it upfront: These are probably in the top 5 pancakes I’ve had and definitely one of the best in Fresno. I ordered the two pancake, two egg, and two meat(snausage or bacon etc) special and they allowed me to have a buttermilk pancake and their corn meal grain one. I really liked the taste of the buttermilk pancake but it was a tad too oily. I actually prefer the pancakes at Jus Jo’s because they are slightly more airy and fluffy(not to mention cheaper). Expect long wait times if you come here pretty much any time on the weekend; but, you can sit at the bar for a faster service. They sell the mix to make your pancakes at home which tells you they definitely know the art of making good pancakes. The owners are very friendly and the place seems full of regulars.

I LOVE good customer service. I LOVE good food. I LOVE family-owned businesses. That’s exactly what you should expect when you visit Batter Up Pancakes. For less than $ 50, we fed 3 adults, and 3 kids. Not only was everyone fed, but everyone walked out stuffed like Thanksgiving Turkeys. I looked at their wall of fame — noting that they offered a challenge. This challenge is called the Grand Slam Challenge. 10 eggs, 4 cups of additional ingredients, 2 cups of potatoes, and a 25 ounce pancake. Sounds easy enough? Well, nearly 300 people have attempted it, and only 10 have been victorious. I thought I’d try to remain humble and just sample the food on my first visit. No need to show off, right? So, I ordered the«Mike» which included 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 2 sausages. I hate to admit it, but I couldn’t finish my pancakes. They were delicious, but incredibly filling. My wife ordered a decadent Banana Bread French Toast. Y.U.M. My kids all had pancakes and eggs. My mother-in-law had a senior meal(I didn’t pay attention to what hers looked like since I was so distracted by my GIANT pancakes). Our server was really friendly and did that thing that I’ll never be able to do. She didn’t write down our orders. She just listened and amazingly got them all right! I can’t get my kids’ orders right while they are shouting them out to me when we’re in a drive-thru. I don’t know how a server can get an entire table’s orders correct without writing everything down. All I know is this — we left with to-go containers. We paid less than $ 50 for 6 people. We limped and waddled out to the car and hardly felt the urge to eat for the rest of the day. Good. Food. Happy. Me.
