Alterations Etc

I have had several alterations done here, some simple and some very complicated. The work is always completed as promised and is perfect. The owner is honest and her prices are competitive. I could not recommend more highly!

I have had so many alterations done here for our business and all perfect. If Cathy says she can do it, it will be excellent. She is also honest about items that cannot be fixed. Best alt’s in Fresno

Alterations Etc. is as good as it gets. The work performed is beautiful, consistent, timely, and reasonably priced. I’ve been going to AE for over a decade and have never had any problems; quite the opposite in fact. Kathy is a lovely person who knows her stuff; I recommend Alterations Etc. wholeheartedly!

I came here to have two items altered – a sweater and a bra. The zipper on the sweater wouldn’t work – they fixed that. Some of the hooks on the back of the bra had fallen off. Alterations etc put in new hooks, however, they were different sizes, not aligned properly, and of the six, one was silver instead of black.
I went back in and asked if they could fix it. The woman at the counter was incredibly rude and gave me attitude. She said that the hooks come in different sizes and colors in the packages. Honestly, that doesn’t seem to be the truth to me, and even if it were, you should still use the same size and color. She stated haughtily, «well I guess that we’ll have to search through everything to find similar sizes.»
I came back again to pick up the bra. The hooks were of the same size and color. Now it’s just the loose threads and sloppy stitching. If I wanted a shoddy job, I would have done it myself rather than take it to a «professional» alteration place and also not have had to deal with rude staff. Two stars only because they changed the size and color of the hooks.
