By far the best tanning establishment in Fresno! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms are always clean and well maintained. I’m big on customer service and the staff here go out of their way to greet you and provide you with the best experience possible. Very relaxing atmosphere and prices are right on mark. You can’t go wrong here. Well done!!!

Obviously Angelica C didn’t follow instructions on how to take care of her airbrush when it was processing and developing. It’s easy to blame the person who airbrushed you when you don’t follow instructions. I’ve been airbrushed at A Touch of Gold many times and I was extremely happy. By the way, the price is no where near $ 100.00. Everyone at this salon is very nice with awesome customer service. If you’re looking for the perfect airbrush, then this is your salon. You won’t be disappointed.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. This place had high reviews all for their tanning beds which they seem pretty new, but my review is on the tanning spray. Biggest piece of advice DON’T get it here. I have never had a more horrible experience like this. I looked orange and uneven all over. The salon even gave me bad advice on what to use if I was not happy with tan that eventually left rashes all over my body. I read the reviews and saw nothing but positive things but I should of seen that it was for the tanning beds. I am writing this to help someone not make the same mistake I made. All said and done I paid close to 100 and left with horrible orange skin, rashes on my body, and unable to show my skin for the event I had planned. Hope this helps you keep away!

A Touch of Gold Tanning is by far the best tanning salon I have experienced in the Fresno/​Clovis surrounding area. I’ve tried numerous other tanning salons and no place can quite live up to the standard A Touch of Gold sets. The beds are extremely powerful and you can instantly see a difference in your skin color after just one use. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and are great at remembering your name and making you feel at home, providing excellent customer service. The unlimited tanning packages are worth every cent and you can visit as many times as you like for the month. The décor and architecture create a peaceful, soothing, and relaxing atmosphere to tan in. If you’re looking for a place to tan for the upcoming warmer months or for a special event, A Touch of Gold will not disappoint.

Great place for traditional tans as well as airbrush tans. Everyone that works there is very nice and friendly. Prices are reasonable for the services they offer. I would recommend them to anyone that wants an airbrush tan or to use a traditional UV bed. Best tanning salon in Fresno!

My friend recommended this salon to me, and I wish I would have listened to her rather than trying European Tan first. They are a bit cheaper so I thought it would be better to go there… I was wrong.
I came here after being completely ignored at European Tan on Palm. I was greeted immediately (already better than European Tan) by the woman up front who then walked me through the sign up process which asked about my skin type/​medications I am taking etc… She then helped me choose a tanning lotion and didn’t pressure me to purchase the most expensive one there (which has happened at other tanning salons), she then took me into the room and explained how everything works (the fans, radio, timer.). She also explained after care to me because I am very fair and she didn’t want me to burn or to dry out my skin. She started me off at 6 minutes and told me to come back for two days then take a break before I go up to a longer period in the bed.
When I come in, I just say my last name and the woman up front double checks the amount of time I want and then tells me which room to go into. Quick and Easy.
The only downside is that it is a bit more pricey than some other salons… it is $ 53 for a month of unlimited tanning, whereas for European tan is $ 40 a month. but honestly, its worth it. Besides, they change their bulbs all the time so you can see results after the first day!
For their good customer service, environment, and results I give this salon 4 stars.

Always clean. Staff is courteous. Rarely have to wait for a bed. Would love more hours on weekend. They do have three levels of tanning including the matrix!
