The new owners have created a real gem. Food is good though menu is limited, but hey they have great ice cream. Service is stellar too. The owners are always there keeping things running smooth and are the nicest people.

Love it here! From breakfast to pizza to Friday night fish… there’s always something to fill up on and leave happy. We also love the porch burger, the chili dog and the roast beef with peppers and onions. We typically stop for the awesome pizza or Friday fish though as they are fabulous. Used to work in the building in my teens and mom worked there in hers… finally have another set of owners who care about the place like they did years ago! Just wish they were open, even limited hours, in winter!!!

I stopped here with my kids and parents while heading back to our campsite from Fremont. We were looking for some ice cream and saw The Porch along the road with ice cream advertised on their marquee. The restaurant is clearly well cared for by the owners. It was slow that day, but I think this would be a nice environment to enjoy a meal. They served Cedar Crest ice cream, and generous portions for a price in line with other places. If we are in the area again, I would like to stop for an entire meal.

Cute, quaint and clean. My husband and I came in on a Friday night. We were the only customers but was rainy. We were greeted with a friendly staff. The menu had an alright selection. I had a fish sandwich and my husband had the porch burger. We always split our entrees half and half so we both get to try eachothers. Both were good –the fish sandwich was quite large the burger was big as well. I had fries which were really good; my husband had the homemade chips which were ok but we both agreed the fries were better. A good experience. Would stop back when in area.

Great Service, great food and very very nice people. I did go for almost two years since they were open because of what had been there. I wish I’d gone earlier, highly recommend to everyone.

We loved this place! My husband and I stopped here on the way back to Milwaukee and couldn’t have been happier with our decision. Awesome food (especially the homemade chips and fries), extremely friendly service, and adorable atmosphere. We got into a discussion about different cream sodas and our server gave us a surprise «soda tasting» for fun. We are ending our tradition of stopping at a fast food restaurant on the way home from these road trips and plan to make it a tradition to always stop at the Porch. :)

Went for dinner with the wife and kids, and everyone enjoyed their meals, even our extremely picky eater. The adults had the fish dinners — fish was cooked perfectly and the breading was light and awesome. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The boys had hand-​dipped ice cream after dinner, which may have helped persuade them to eat so well.
Even though it was a bit of a journey to get there, we’ll definitely be back.

Three of us stopped here for a bite to eat. Two of us had the Chicago-​style hot dog. We both agreed it was superb. The third had a cheeseburger on, believe it or not, a brioche bun. He said it was unique and excellent. He felt the brioche bun was a great addition. We all agreed that the fries were some of the best we have ever had. Linda and Shaun, the owners, have created a beautiful and friendly dining environment. If you are ever in the area. I would suggest you give The Porch a try and see if you don’t agree with us. We’ll be back!

Good sandwich shop with homemade chips and an ice cream stand as well. Decent beer selection. Good service and fresh yummy sandwich. Try the deep fried chcolate chip cookie dough with a side of ice cream, it’s delicious.

After hearing nightmarish stories of the former proprietors of this location, we were reluctant to give this a shot. Huge mistake! We should have been in here a year ago when they opened. Cracker crust pizza, veggie wrap, chicken tenders, house chips, and side salad all get a huge thumbs up. Our server Jeanne was really upbeat and full of smiles. They’ve got a diverse menu of standard American fare, but everything we tried was grease free and tasty!
