Located behind the Coconut Grove Grocery. It was my first time here. I had the chicken Tikka combo, 2 veggie samosas, and a mango lasi. The food tasted homemade, and seasoned just right. The chicken was tender. The lasi was perfect, with no artificial food coloring. I’m glad I tried the samosas. Cozy and pleasant ambiance — I would definitely come back again. The service was excellent!

Enjoyed dinner there last night with a friend. Clean, comfortable, and casual space. The owner is very kind and charming. Because of the pouring rain, we were the only dine-in guests, but a few take-out customers did wander in. Since the restaurant space is no longer connected to the Coconut Hill Indian grocery store, you’ll have to walk along the sidewalk to the entrance facing Warm Springs Blvd. Ordered mango lassi, naan, chicken korma, vegetable pakora, chapli kabab and mutton biriyani. All the dishes were authentic — the biriyani featured the whole cloves, cardamom pods, fennel seeds(all beautifully toasted) you’d expect to see, and the korma’s chicken was fall off the bone tender. Chapli kebab was tender and flavorful. Although the portions may seem modest, the dishes’ flavors are immensely satisfying, so you don’t need to stuff yourself to feel sated. Warning: the dishes ran spicy, so I was grateful for the carafes of water the owner kept coming. Service is wonderful and friendly.

I have had Chappli kabab in several other cities in the US and this was the best by far. Tender and perfectly spiced. Would strongly recommend this place. Will definitely be back for more when I am back in the bay area.

Excellent food. Great host. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend as long as you don’t pay attention to the décor and small size of the restaurent.

I went here on a week day for take out! I ordered Chicken Karahi, Chicken tikka kabab and Goat Biriyani. I did not taste this good Chicken Karahi in Bay Area. Chicken tikka was well done and very juicy while eating. My son who doesn’t like Biriyanis finished the goat biriyani. Overall very satisfied!!!

It was my first visit to this restaurant. We ordered chicken tikka(tender, juicy and very well marinated), Hariyali kebab(size was too big to be cooked well and I was right) and Balti gosht(spicy sauce with chunky tomatoes). My experience with mint sauce was not good at all … it tasted very different. I found the owner to be passionate and cares about the quality of the food that they serve. I will probably give another try !!

The food was delicious and authentic along with great ambiance. Especially the combination of Spices with Opera and Andrea Bocelli was out of this world. The owner takes pride in his food quality and service. He was very cordial a delight to have a conversation with. For me it was a great and pleasant experience and I urge the community to go and check it out for themselves. Dishes I have tried and loved are… 1. Chapli Kabab 2. Mutton Briyani 3. Balti Gosht

any place with a «factory» in it’s name puts me on notice. plus, only one person worked the front and the kitchen. not a good sign at all. kabobs supposedly their specialty, Chapli Kababs gots lots of raves. menu: Kababs, biryani. samosas, etc. eats: veggie samosa(2.29) –got 2 medium sized ones, freshly fried –heard a lot of chopping after placing order –mostly chickpea filling, pretty spicy –very fresh tasting, got green dipping sauce. crumbs: –located next to indian market –dining room looks nice, clean –misjudged this place totally would repeat to try the kababs –cashier/cook very cordial despite small order –took about 10ish minutes, made and cooked from scratch.

Ordered their Chapli Kababs for take-out last weekend and was blown away by the taste and quality. Meat was tender and flavorful, and ingredients were fresh. Place is small(though not cramped), and is clean. I’d like to dine in sometime and try out their other items. Owner took care of my order/payment, and seemed like a warm and sociable person. See you soon Kabab Factory!

This is a hole in the wall spot in the back of a market on Warm Springs. The owner is a really nice man who seems to genuinely care about the quality of the food that they serve. On my initial visit, our group had the samosas, tika masala, and chapali kababs. All were quite tasty. On my second trip, I requested an off-menu item, The Hinesh(Chapali Burger with tika sauce) and it did not disappoint). I will def be back.

I agree with the last reviewer. This place is good. I had really authentic chapli kababs on my last visit which was several weeks ago. It was authentic Pakistani(not afghani) which are spicier and more tender. I’m planning on trying it out again today. Will update my review accordingly, if service and food are as good as last time.

This place is AMAZING! The food is very well spiced without being too overpowering. I ordered Chicken Korma, Balti Gosht, Chicken Tika, Chappli Kabab and Naan. All were quite amazing. A lot of these dishes I haven’t heard of, but the owner suggested most of them – and I was not disappointed! It’s tucked away near Coconut Hill, but this place is a little gem! The prices are very reasonable(6 – 10 dollars a dish), the décor is really nice, the owner is super personable, and the food – THEFOOD! If you are looking for tasty, halal kebabs and curry-like dishes, this is the place! So glad I found it!
