I came here 4 years ago to get my lip pierced. Mistake. Some chick pierced it, no clue what her name was, but she said she’s been piercing for years, I trusted her, and yeah… MISTAKE. She pierced me, and some bright spark went off in her head that said, «your lip will FORSURE swell twice the size, I will need to put in the lip ring» then she proceeded to show me the lip ring… ITWASHUGE… But she swore up and down to trust her, and that once the swelling went down, she would swap it out for the ring of my choice… Mind you, the ring she put in was practically a HOOP earring… MYBAD for listening to her… HERBAD for being inexperienced… Long story short, the ring was so big, that it would lay down on its side because my lip NEVER swelled. And after 3 – 4 days of just laying flat, my lip ended up healing that way. So when I replaced the ring with the correct size 2 weeks later, the ring would not sit in the middle… The piercing itself was forcing the jewelry to lean… 5 rings later, all different shapes and sizes and PRICES, I went to a respected piercer who advised me to just take it out if I did not like the way the jewelry sat, and that there was no way to fix it… So after all that, I now have scar tissue, and can no longer pierce the center of my lip… Thanks inexperienced Tattoo-U«piercer» — you suck. Yeah, I would never go back…

Agree 100%! I walked in a felt like I was interrupting tweeker fest 09 even though I was the only person in the store. Furniture and floors dirty. Getting tattooed here wasn’t even a consideration.

My husband had a good experience here with a female piercer. My experience was very, very different. I went here to get my lip repierced. With more than 12 piercings and 4 tattoos, I’m pretty well versed on how this all should go. Every step of the way this experience was wrong, and I should have listened to my instincts early on. First off, no one checked my ID or had me sign a release or went over aftercare with me. While that doesn’t sound like a big deal, all reputable places will do this. Next, he agreed to pierce me with my own jewelry without even examining it or CLEANINGIT. At all. Then he marks where he’s going to pierce me, and doesn’t ask my opinion of it, just comes at me with the needle. I stop him to check the placement, and remind him again that I asked to be lying down for the procedure. I check the placement, and it looks in line with my other piercing. I keep thinking he’s gonna clean the jewelry I brought in at some point, but he doesn’t. He sticks the needle in, and I can already tell it’s wrong. It goes through me at a weird angle, and after he puts my NOTCLEANENOUGH jewerly in, and hands me a mirror, I can see it’s even way off the mark he made. As a consolation, he tells me I can take it out and let it heal and come back in a few weeks and he’ll redo it for free. Yeah right, I will NEVER be returning there, free or not.
