I had two herniated cervical discs and my local Dr wanted to do a two level fusion. I knew that I didn’t want a fusion because I am only 35 and all the research says that fusions can cause more problems with other discs in the future. My physical therapist recommended Dr Schiffer. he had a patient that had a cervical endoscopic discectomy with Dr Schiffer and he went back to weightlifting and golf after surgery I sent Dr Schiffer my MRI and he called me to tell me I was a good candidate for a Ced procedure which was performed through a pinhole in the skin(you can’t see the incision after surgery) I flew to Fremont and was back home in 3 days. Dr Schiffer and his staff were wonderful. I am now pain free and feel 20 years younger thank you Dr Schiffer for giving me my life back

I had herniated cervical disks and saw Dr. Schiffer for possible surgery. My primary doctor, a sports physician, thought either physical therapy or surgery was appropriate in my case, and I opted for surgery in order to continue my sports. Dr. Schiffer recommended a complicated ACD that cost over $ 10k just in surgeon’s fee, and told me that I risk paralysis if I don’t. I opted for second opinion from Dr. Rosario in Campbell. He concurred with my primary doctor and recommended a simpler laminectomy. When I did not come back, Dr. Schiffer sent me an email, and then called me, again stating that I risked paralysis. I ignored him and went with Dr. Rosario for laminectomy for $ 3400. The surgery was a success and was able to continue with judo without problem.
