My relatives from Milpitas took us to Roxas Boulevard to see the comedy show of Jesse Cabalza & Thage Montecarlo. They actually became 2 of my dearest friends! They had a comedy show where I live, in Virginia Beach. and it was a blast! At the Fremont show, there was a cover charge of $ 25 which included unlimited food, appetizers, and drinks. That is about the best deal I have ever come across! We had a table of 20 which consisted of all of my relatives and my parents who I flew into Cali for their anniversary gift. We celebrated their anniversary that night. Jesse & Thage loved me and had me sing twice on the karaōke. I enjoyed my stay and so did my family! The food was great, however due to the busy night. the food didn’t come out in a timely manner. It’s okay, since we had fun at the comedy show. Miriam Pantig was also there with her daughter. Excellent talent that night! We took plenty of pictures! I recommend this place. You can also check out Edna’s Ichiban in San Francisco, where Jesse & Thage do most of their comedy shows.

I was really impressed by this place. Not only is the restaurant beautiful, but the food is also delicious, the staff is great, and the performers are entertaining. The performers were very accommodating and made me and my guests feel very welcome as we took turns going up on stage to sing and crack jokes. There was a little bit of a wait for the food but it was definitely worth it. The server and hostess were very friendly and they serve some of the best Filipino food in the bay area. This place also has a full bar that serves authentic Filipino beers. I’m hoping that they eventually serve my favorite — Red Horse — in the future. I hear this place is even more entertaining on the weekends so I can’t wait to bring my friends here. It’s great finally having a cool comedy club to go to in the area.

I like the Roxas Blvd. Comedy club. I forgot all my stresses in life when I was there. I liked their food… especilaly the sisig baboy, calmari and the pancit canton. This is the first time that I tasted a real pansit here in the U.S. Apparently, they fired the cook and hired a new one who is good.

A newly open Filipino Comedy Bar named Roxas Boulevard Comedy bar in the East Bay. The comedy is not as bad. But the food was so bad if you don’t know how the real taste of your Filipino foods then, it is the right restaurant for you. First don’t expect too much on the menu the items are so limited. Yes! they do have coke. Let’s start with appetizer. We ordered the Fried Calamari if you don’t mind waiting for 2hours. Have you seen a squid and slice them in to two and fried them? A fried squid with no flour. The taste is so horrible oh for some reason they are so forgetful on putting serving spoon. All the food that we ordered we have to ask for the serving spoon or just help your self. For the main dish, we ordered Sinigang Baboy(Sour Soup Port) and Crispy Pata(Deep Fried Pork Leg). Let me start with Sinigang Baboy, it was like Nilagang Baboy(Boiled Pork) no sour taste to it and the pork skin was pinkish. I would not recommend this to you folks out there unless you don’t mind uncooked pork. The Crispy pata, also it took 2hours before they served it to us. Again, i asked the waiter to send it back to be cook. And when it came back, it was ½ lbs less than the first time they served us. Will I coming back for the food? No… Maybe for the Comedy… Then again, I have to put some reservation to that.
