Number 1 Cleaners and Alterations

Alternation service is trustworthy, but dry cleaning was unsatisfactory — especially given the price paid. The steam press couldn’t even get rid of the (light) wrinkles on the sleeves of my trench coat.

They are always nice whenever I come by. If you’re not in a hurry, dry cleaning is typically ready in 4 days. I removed one star because pricing can be a little inconsistent by 50 cents or so. Not a huge deal breaker in my book.
Ties — $ 3.50 each
Dry clean dress shirts — $ 5.75 each
Wool sweaters — $ 6.00 each
2 piece suit — $ 13.50

I have been using this place for my dry clean cloth for many years after trying different not so satisfied stores. Last week, I have them help me doing the last minute bridal gown press, originally they said they can’t finish in time, but very friendly staff Christina helped me talked to the owner and the prioritize the process to make sure they can complete it by Friday afternoon (wedding is Saturday). The result is great! Really appreciate their help!!! Highly recommend their dry clean and alteration service. The prices is very reasonable~

I have been using this place for alterations since 2002 — I read that the owner is different now, but I swear. the alterations person must be the same! She is the only person that is able to keep my original hem of my jeans EXACTLY the same… nobody else does it like that. Only problem is. they raised their prices!

Excellent place. They do dry cleaning and alterations. The owner along with staff are very friendly, professional and prompt. I have been coming here for some time and always pleased with the service and friendly demeanor of the staff and especially the owner, she is awesome.

I just want everyone to know that all of these reviews from 2010 to 2008… are for the old owner! There is a new owner and she is wonderful!

They Altered and fixed a zipper of my nude lace dress, and it fits perfectly! They were so friendly and they finished 5 days before the expected date.

My wife turned in her winter coat for cleaning, arranging to pick it up on Saturday (she had to fly to Chicago on Sunday).
When we went to pick up the coat — thats when things started getting really sour. The coat had tons of lint on it and then on further checking we saw that the stain on the hood was still there. The food particles were still there, which indicated to us that the hood was missed altogether in the cleaning. And god knows what else was not cleaned!
The only option given to us was to come pick it up on Tuesday — something that they knew wouldnt work for my wife, given her Sunday flight. If you cant wait, «you can take the coat back as it is»!!!
My wife asked for a refund, at which point the lady called the owner on the phone. My wife spoke to the owner, but to no avail. NO REFUND.
I voiced my disappointment and mentioned that I would surely leave feedback for such shoddy customer treatment. Then she offered us a half refund if I agreed to write on a paper that I am satisfied and will not leave any feedback whatsoever.
I promptly declined her offer… we walked out with the uncleaned coat, after paying the full dry cleaning cost, and here I am writing the review (the cost of writing this review has been $ 7.20 :)

This place is decent, had an Ok experience. They didn’t really alter my dress the way i wanted it, but it was better than before. The prices are decent and the waiting period is pretty normal. (3−4days). The customer services was ok too, I would come here if it was on my way to my work again.
